Antique Bradley & Hubbard Ornate Cast Iron Bronzed Bacchus Mirror Frame
Antique ornate cast iron bronzed mirror frame depicting the head of the Greek God Bacchus. The rest of the frame is a tremendous amount of work in the Art Nouveau style. This has the original formed tin sheet that is the backing to hold the mirror in the frame. There is no mirror. A replacement will be required and can be acquired at any glass and mirror shop in almost all towns and cities. They are inexpensive. This is marked B&H, and has a bronze ring to hang it with. Manufactured around 1870. It is almost identical to an easel bronze Bacchus bronze mirror frame I have listed as well. But the easel mirror frame is not marked. Both were acquired from the same estate and they were used as a set, one on a parlour table, the other hanging above it. The two bottom corners of this piece have no feet as does the easel frame, and less flourish ... moreon these two corners. It is impossible to tell if this was manufactured this way as part of this set, or if an early owner had it customized this way to hang above the easel frame in my other listing. A very beautiful example of early cast iron and bronze guilding. This piece is 14.25" tall. And 9.5" wide, and heavy. Payment by PayPal only- No eChecks. Antique Victorian Tilting Vanity Mirror, Ornate Floral Metal Frame
This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. The metal has an aged patina and the back has an old time worn and stained cover. There are no chips or cracks to the mirror but it is starting to freckle and shows age. This displays beautifully and would be an asset to any Victorian room. The items that I sell are the items I love. Vintage Antique Carved Wood Frame Beveled Glass Oval Mirror Pre-Mid Century
This is a beautiful mirror. You are bidding on an antique oval mirror. This has an oak wooden frame with a top crest of hand carved floral. I believe this is early 20th century. The mirror has a 1" bevel completely around the oval. The back is sealed with a 1/4" piece of wood not plywood. The last picture shows one of the dovetail joints in the frame. This frame was made from four separate pieces of oak which were joined together at those dovetails to make the complete frame. I think this is another sign of the age of this mirror. It has two holes through the front of the frame which were probably used for mounting. It also has one eyelet on the back which was also used for mounting. The second eyelet is gone. The winning bidder will have to develop their own mounting. The complete mirror and frame is 18-3/4" tall and 26" ... morewide. The mirror is 23" by 13-1/2" This is one of the classiest mirrors I have ever had for sale. Please don't email to ask if we would consider selling if for less. My wife really hates to part with it. Antique Arts&Crafts Style Pine( with dark finish) Dresser Harp and Mirror Frame(no glass) I believe it originally was on a highboy style dresser which is a tall narrower width wise with 5 or 6 drawers rather than a 3 or 4 drawer lower dresser. The width of this harp and mirror is about 32 1\2 inches wide which would more than likely be too short for a lower type dresser because they are usually high 30's to 40's inches wide. The measurements are the total height to the top of the mirror from the bottom is about 23" and the height of the post(harp sides) would be 20 3\4" The outside measurements of the mirror itself is 22 1\2" wide and 20 1\2" tall and the glass itself would you get to put in the frame is 20 1\2 x 22 1\2 inches. The original mirror hinges are both there and the back wood supports are also there. ... moreJust to let you know this harp and mirror was made to sit on the back edge of the top thus the support strips which screw on to the very back of the dresser itself verses the type that sets in the space on back and actually screws into the top itself. The arts&crafts connection is the way the two harp uprights are cut as was the style in that era(see photos#4 and#6) If you needed to cut down the width of the whole unit the small extensions on the left and right on the very bottom could be changed or cut back according to your needs. This cathedral style mirror is one of a set of two. Each has a gold colored wood and gesso frame. Shaped with leaves and flowers. The mirror itself is in very good condition. The frame has had some restoration at the bottom, hard to see unless you look very closely. These pieces are great for decorating. As they add dimension to a space and make it seem larger. When placed at an advantageous spot you can reflect light from a window, adding extra light as well. Cast iron frame FLOATING mirror beveled edge vtg wall decor antique black metal
This piece has a cast iron or wrought iron frame that would hang on the wall and the beveled edge mirror fits within the frame. The mirror would rather“float” between the iron frame. It has two decorative hinge type connectors that would secure the mirror. I am not a very“handy” type person and I cannot get the mirror inside this frame. It seems too wide. But I know that is just because I do not know how to secure it. This mirror definitely goes with this frame, so it has to fit. I know a“handy” type person could get it secured. If you are"unhandy. like me, you get 2 cool separate pieces! The frame is a cast iron or wrought iron black metal piece in very good condition– no rust– very good condition. The metal has a twisted ribbon like look. I have yet to find any maker’s mark on this piece. But it could be that I do not know where to ... morelook. Due to the design– a maker’s mark could be hidden. The mirror has a thick rough or scalloped type beveled edge. I was going to say no chips. But on closer I think there may possibly be a chip in one of the scallops. Rather hard to tell due to the decorative cut at the edges of the mirror. Also. As you can see, the silver or mercury backing has worn off in several places. It is an old piece. Exact age unknown– I do not know if this is an older vintage piece. As more of a 1950's Mid Century Modern, or if it is old antique– I assume collectors can tell by the mirror cut and the frame style- Size: The metal frame measures approx 12 3/4ths inches in length. The center cut-out measures approx 6 1/4 by 4 1/8th inches. The mirror measures approx 5 3/4ths by 3 5/8ths inches. It is approx 1/4 inch thick at the edges. Condition: The cast iron frame still looks very good. As you can see. The back of the mirror shows much wear. As stated above, the mirror has a thick rough beveled edge and it is difficult to tell, but there may be a chip on one of the scalloped edges. Description This handsome antique cast iron frame stands 10 1/2" tall and is 10 3/4" wide. It has a folding stand on the back which allows it to stand freely. The design of the frame is unique and features a French motif. All around the piece are fleur-de-lis. The top has plumes and a helmet. And the feet have griffin like creatures holding shields with a fleur-de-lis. The frame has a mirror; it is not original to the frame but looks good. It could also hold an oval picture 8" long, 6" wide. The frame is in very ice condition with no breaks. No repairs and no losses. The back stand is original and in fine condition. There are some hair line cracks around the plaster part of the frame though they do not go all the way through(see photos) The cracks add beautifully to the character of this piece. Antique Vintage Shabby Oval Beveled Mirror With Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage oval beveled mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. The mirror is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2. The frame has a light misting of rust on it but all of the decoration is intact. The back of the frame holding the mirror in place appears to be brass. It shows surface scratching. Has a dent in the center, and shows some rust, especially at the top. There are four bars which screw into the frame which hold the mirror/backing in place. There are two loops molded into the frame to hold the wire for hanging. The mirror is hazy around the edges and has marks on the surface, the largest which is shown in the last photo. The mirror is beautiful alone or hanging with a collection of antique mirrors.

Antique gold or gilt painted cast iron easel framed mirror. It measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" with a mirror that measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" The beveled mirror shows quite a few age spots and has some rough edges behind the framing. It's the original mirror I believe. The easel stand has a small little loop broken off the very end(photo 6) There are no broken areas on the frame itself. VINTAGE 1920's MIRROR GOLD/ SILVER GESSO FRAME. ART DECO, HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR You are offered this gorgeous 80- 100 year old mirror. It has a silver/ gold frame with detail of tiny blue flowers. It is in very good condition. With some bits of gesso gone, and a few that have been silver retouched, please see photos. It is a good size for anywhere in the home. It is 24 by 18 1/2“ approx. with clear mirror. The thing that makes this mirror a bit different is the oval inner frame around the mirror. This is 4 pieces of tile that surround the mirror. The tiles are gold and silver grey. It adds a lot of drama to the piece, and I’ve never seen this in a 20's gesso mirror. Antique Vintage Mirror with Wood Frame Rounded Top
Antique mirror has reflected upon many faces and rooms- if only it could talk! Wood frame with rounded top has some wear- chips. Scratches, and a few thin cracks/separations but is overall solid. The mirror itself has lost approximately 50% of its silver backing, which gives it a dark, mysterious look.
