Antique Bradley & Hubbard Ornate Cast Iron Bronzed Bacchus Mirror Frame
Antique ornate cast iron bronzed mirror frame depicting the head of the Greek God Bacchus. The rest of the frame is a tremendous amount of work in the Art Nouveau style. This has the original formed tin sheet that is the backing to hold the mirror in the frame. There is no mirror. A replacement will be required and can be acquired at any glass and mirror shop in almost all towns and cities. They are inexpensive. This is marked B&H, and has a bronze ring to hang it with. Manufactured around 1870. It is almost identical to an easel bronze Bacchus bronze mirror frame I have listed as well. But the easel mirror frame is not marked. Both were acquired from the same estate and they were used as a set, one on a parlour table, the other hanging above it. The two bottom corners of this piece have no feet as does the easel frame, and less flourish ... moreon these two corners. It is impossible to tell if this was manufactured this way as part of this set, or if an early owner had it customized this way to hang above the easel frame in my other listing. A very beautiful example of early cast iron and bronze guilding. This piece is 14.25" tall. And 9.5" wide, and heavy. Payment by PayPal only- No eChecks. Antique Victorian Tilting Vanity Mirror, Ornate Floral Metal Frame
This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. The metal has an aged patina and the back has an old time worn and stained cover. There are no chips or cracks to the mirror but it is starting to freckle and shows age. This displays beautifully and would be an asset to any Victorian room. The items that I sell are the items I love. Original Antique Ornate Gentlemans Shaving Mirror - Unrestored Wood Wall Mirror
Estate Find- Here is an original old shaving mirror. It mearsures 14.25" across by 18.5" high. It is made of wood with ornate carvings at the top center and bottom corners. It also has an all wood backing with an old wire hanger. Due to age the mirror has black markings. Streaks and a couple of defects in the glass but no cracks or chips. This gives it character and shows its age. The frame has some paint loss but overall it is solid. It makes for a nice primitive piece that is totally original with no restorations or touch ups. Being offered for sale. Is a vintage NOS Syroco hollywood regency style, style 4411, gold mirror. It still has the original Syroco Finest Plate Glass sticker on the mirror, and has the original manufacturer tag still attached near the top, although the tag was ripped in half. It is in excellent condition, with very minor wear from being stored over the years, nothing really significant. No chips or cracks as far as I see. The mirror itself measures approximately 19" at its tallest point, and 12 3/4" at its widest. Beautiful antique vintage dresser vanity table top standing mirror. Very unique! Painted mirror with wood back that has a very ornate looking design in a clear plastic that looks like glass around the edges. This has a floral design to it. The flowers and frame are held on with pins. The bottom right flower has a pearl pin. The pins and maybe even the pieces o the frame could use a dot of crazy glue on the tips so they cannot come out causing the flowers to come off. This fact does not in any way detract from the beauty of the mirror it is simply a suggestion of mine that seems practical since the flowers can currently come off if pins come out. Great antique victorian ornate cast iron beveled glass mirror
Beautiful ornate scrolled victorian cast iron mirror with beveled glass. With darkened gold color. Stands about 13 inches tall by about 9 inches wide. Has a beautiful scrolled easel stand. The back of the mirror has a metal plate that is held on with four swivel bars- the bottom one is stuck in the open position down inbetween the frame and the back- I did not attempt to move it. Stamped on the top back I think with the number 1040- hard to read, for a makers mark. Only flaw is a chip on the mirror on the lower left bevel, which doesn't affect the clarity of the mirror, which has some light surface scratches due to age and wear, and I see only a little discoloration/silver loss on the lower right beveled edge, and some tiny spots here and there. Really pretty example of an old victorian mirror in nice shape for its age, with fancy easel ... morestand. Please ask any other questions. ANTIQUE MEDITERRANEAN GESSO GILDED ORNATE WOOD 19 CENTURY 13O YEAR OLD MIRROR Up for your consideration is this really nice antique mediterranean style gesso gilded ornate wood frame 19th century 130 year old mirror. FEATURES:Made out of wood with a gesso(plaster) Mediterranean leafing style design on the top"handle" and the very bottom part of this 130 year old mirror. The handle looks like the leaves are coming together to form a wreath. And the shape is an almost kidney shape where the middle curves in. Along the rest of the frame it is somewhat contoured with several fine lines, or ridges. The back has the origianal cardboard liner, but the vast majority of the paper backing/cover is gone. The only thing that remains is along the outer edges. There are several different types of nails that hold this mirror into the frame, some ... morelook like they come from at least 3 different time periods. There are signs on this that just can't be"faked" or duplicated without the passage of many many decades of time and looks very aged. There is an eyelet screw on each side of the mirror with 4 thin braided cords attached for hanging. By looking at this, it looks like the handle was handcarved out of wood, as it looks very primitive with no uniformity, even the two back support wedges that hold the handle onto the mirror are very different in size. ADD. INFO: Based on the way this mirror was made. You can pretty much be sure- there were not a lot of these made. This unique wall mirror is 17 1/2" in diameter; 8" across the center part. The small mirrored diamond-shaped and triangle-shaped are welded together at the back(see 4th picture. Overall in very good shape but in the close ups you can see where some of the silvering has slightly worn off but not noticeable except right up close. Makes it look antique. The parts of the mirror that look dark at the ends are reflections of my phone; I wasn't able to totally avoid the reflections and still get the picture. I have enjoyed this for 25 years having bought at a garage sale(and it was old then) but since moving into a small place. I no longer have wall space to hang it.

Vintage Mid Century Hollywood Regency Ornate Scrolled Large Oval Gold Tone Mirror. Large mirror at approx 32.5" tall and 18.5" wide. The beautiful oval mirror is quality at over 1/4" thick. No identifying makers marks but I suspect it is by Syroco. The back had a label identifying it to be from Sears early 1960's. I would call this Hollywood Regency Syroco Style. Seems to be a heavy plastic/poly resin material painted will heavy gold tone paint. There are two spots that have paint scratched off. Please look at all my photos. ORNATE 19" LARGE 1940s VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS HANDLED MIRROR MIRRORED VANITY TRAY
1940's VINTAGE VANITY TRAY. 1940's era heavy. Sturdy metal vanity tray. The sides are an embossed brass-plated metal and the handles are solid brass. There are no black spots on the mirror and no cloudiness. No cracks or chips. There is a little VERY FAINT age foxing that you can only see if you hold the mirror up close and tilt it in a certain light. This is very difficult to see and definitely doesn't detract from the great looks of this vintage piece. There are a couple small spots on the side where the brass plating wore off(and the metal underneath is actually a brighter gold- SEE LAST PHOTO) And the velvet on the BOTTOM SIDE is in bad shape, however there's still enough left to make the tray totally non-skid, so this doesn't have to be replaced since it can not be seen when displaying(or could be easily replaced, ... moreif desired, with some non-stretch velvet or felt and a little all-purpose glue) There are no dings, dents or rust to the metal. But I would guess at least 50-60 years old based on the patina on the original frame and mirror glass. Frame and finished corners are solid. As well as the ornate decorations. This is a vintage wall mirror. The frame is ornate gold Gesso carved wood. Glass is fairly typical for a vintage mirror(though clearer than average) Upper right corner of frame has a small piece missing(photo#6) That seems to be the only spot where some material is missing. There are cracks throughout the surface of the frame adding to its character. Though it hasn't affected the structural integrity. It feels very solid. Early 20th C Ornate Brass Beveled Vanity Wall Mirror & Towel Rod Holder 9" x 14"
Item No. 7911 WE DEEM THIS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE ITEMS FOR STYLE AND VALUE. THIS IS AN OLD. PREVIOUSLY-OWNED ITEM. as such, it has wear from use and age, primarily oxidation to the metal including some darkening, some original finish losses like protective coatings, and some verdigris(primarily on the ends, but scattered throughout- please examine the photos for the scattered green) a little wood loss to the backing. Early 20th Century ORNATE OPENWORK BRASS WALL MIRROR with TOWEL ROD. Or towel holder. The pattern on this heavy piece is just lovely- consisting of acanthus leaves in several different patterns, hanging, twising, scrolling, wrapping- and a few grapes, other leaves with tiny berries, roped acanthus leaves around the mirror, with a center apex stylized to resemble a crown and shield. The oval mirror has a wide, smooth bevel and is ... morein good shape with a little darkening, but no apparent silvering losses. We find no marks, but suggest the piece might be French in origin. This was hung by screws utilizing the two holes for that purpose in the lower portion. And one screw on either side of the top center shield area. It was quite secure. You might also have your local framer attach a hanging wire to the back for a more simple method of hanging. About 9" tall at the center. 2" tall on the rod sides, 14" widest, mirror is 8-1/4" x 4-1/2" and the width of the mirror extends to 11-1/4" at the decorative posts on the sides. The inside length of the rod is about 13-1/2" and the distance from the inside back of the piece to the inside edge of the rod is about 1-1/8" A useful and very attractive accessory for the powder room. Vintage Swivel Vanity Dresser Mirror with Drawer Ornate Victorian Style
Beautiful swivel dresser mirror with drawer bought by my grandparents in the early 1950's. Measures 21 1/2" tall. 16 1/2" wide and 8" deep. I believe it is walnut, but I'm not sure. The finish is walnut. The wood above the mirror has decorative carving. Ornate spindles with antique brass knobs/turns hold the mirror. In nice condition with a bit of wear and scratches. Those spots can be touched up with Old English Scratch Cover. Or some other kind of wood restorer, or the whole piece can be painted for a shabby look. Brass needs cleaning. Antique Vintage Shabby Oval Beveled Mirror With Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage oval beveled mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. The mirror is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2. The frame has a light misting of rust on it but all of the decoration is intact. The back of the frame holding the mirror in place appears to be brass. It shows surface scratching. Has a dent in the center, and shows some rust, especially at the top. There are four bars which screw into the frame which hold the mirror/backing in place. There are two loops molded into the frame to hold the wire for hanging. The mirror is hazy around the edges and has marks on the surface, the largest which is shown in the last photo. The mirror is beautiful alone or hanging with a collection of antique mirrors.

Nice Federal Style Eagle Topped Convex Mirror with 13 Balls representing the original 13 Colonies Made during WWII Era This is a great piece of history. I thought about restoring it and I still might if it does not sell in the next month or so. I just have too many other projects going right now. Back of the glass is dated 1941 as seen in the pictures. Mirro r measures approx. 29" Tall and 22" Wide Antique Convex Glass is in nice shape. I checked it over and did not find any cracks or chips in it. As you can see. The mirrored silvering is starting to wear. I think it adds character and helps show the mirror's age, but you could have it re-silvered to like new condition if that is what you are looking for. The exterior wood rim is in really good shape. There are some small signs of age and use and I imagine transport wear. The ... moreEagle up top is in really nice shape with 1 small spot of plaster that has chippe d. Hard to notice. The wreath at the bottom of the mirror has 1 small chip of plaster as seen in the pictures. There is paint wear on the 13 balls surrounding the mirror. I think that this mirror is unique in that it is not the bright gold finish. It is more of a"copper" or"dull gold" finish. One could refinish it into the bright gold that you see if that is to your liking. It is the"plasterized frame" which means that a small coat of plaster was spread over the wood frame prior to painting Other than that. Please take a good look at the pictures and determine if this mirror is right for you. I have seen these mirrors sell for $250 up to $1.500. Just depends on finding the right buyer at the right time. My starting price leaves you plenty of room to make money if you are thinking about restoring it and also serves as a solid investment if not. Frame rotates on it frame. Excellent detailing. This is actually an antique piece and not a newer reproduction made to look old. Product Details: Materials: Cast metal. Measurements: Mirror frame measures 11" tall by 8" wide. With the total height of mirror and frame measures 13" tall. Base measures 5" wide and long. Age: Antique Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor wear to the gilding indicative of age. The mirror is in great condition with all its silvering intact. Hallmarks: The only marks I see is an impress 512 1/2" on both the back of mirror frame and underside of the base.
