This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. The metal has an aged patina and the back has an old time worn and stained cover. There are no chips or cracks to the mirror but it is starting to freckle and shows age. Painted mirror with wood back that has a very ornate looking design in a clear plastic that looks like glass around the edges. This has a floral design to it. The flowers and frame are held on with pins. The bottom right flower has a pearl pin. The pins and maybe even the pieces o the frame could use a dot of crazy glue on the tips so they cannot come out causing the flowers to come off. This fact does not in any way detract from the beauty of the mirror it is simply a suggestion of mine that seems practical since the flowers can currently come off if pins come out. 1940's VINTAGE VANITY TRAY. 1940's era heavy. Sturdy metal vanity tray. The sides are an embossed brass-plated metal and the handles are solid brass. There are no black spots on the mirror and no cloudiness. No cracks or chips. There is a little VERY FAINT age foxing that you can only see if you hold the mirror up close and tilt it in a certain light. This is very difficult to see and definitely doesn't detract from the great looks of this vintage piece. This piece is very attractive and would make an excellent addition to any vanity or bedroom dressing ensemble. This plateu appears to have a nickle or silver plate finish and measures a perfect 12.25" by 12.25" and is in very good all original pre loved condtion. The mirror refects clearly and is free of chips.Some minor surface scratches and metal oxidation are noted. This beautiful plateau tray is from the first half of the 20th century. I appears to be of gold plated white metal. It is 3" tall and 14" in diameter. Other than some scratches to the mirror and the inevitable blems to the mirror back. It is in wonderful condition. I would not resurface the mirror and destroy its antiquity. Please notice the wonderful beveled edge of the mirror. The first photo shows the entire mirror and on lower right side there is a line that appears to be a crack. This line is only a reflection of where the wall meets the ceiling of my dining area.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN HORSESHOE FRAME - BEVELLED VANITY - DRESSER MIRROR c.1800s
This unusual horseshoe shaped mirror is intended for dresser or table use. It has two 3/4" brass ball feet and a hinged prop-arm stand to hold it upright. It has a 1 3/4" wide frame. I'm not sure of the wood. But it's tight-grained with the original finish& appears to be possibly cherry or mahogany. This mirror stands 12 1/4" tall and is 10 1/2" in width at its widest point. The frame is approximately 3/4" in thickness. The mirror has a 1" bevelled edge and its area measured to the frame rabbet is 7" W. x 8 1/2"H. The prop is 8" L& 1 1/2 W. The mirror shows some small areas of silver loss and the frame has some minor finish damage at the edges. But over-all, it is in very good antique condition.
