This vintage nautical wall lamp came from an estate and probably dates from the 40's. The finish is all original with some wear to the brass finish.the enamel is in good condition with only a little wear to the rope area under the life preserver. It is in working condition and I believe the wiring is original. I can find no marks. Measurement are 7" X 4 1/2" at the widest points. It is a great piece with primitive charm. Beautiful Bronze Antique Lamp for porch or wall
For sale is a beautiful antique lamp for a house. Restaurant or anywhere else that demands unique and handsome light fixtures. It is a hand cast and bronzed, I believe, lamp from the 30's or 40's. It has been wired, though the wiring would need to be replaced and there is no bulb in the lamp currently. The lamp stands about 8 1/2" tall. The diameter of the glass is 4 1/4" It is 7" wide total. The diameter of the wall wire housing is 4 1/2" It weighs approx. 5 lbs. One of the original bronze set-screws has at some time been replaced by a newer, bigger steel screw that has rusted and can be seen in the fourth picture from the left. The original bronze screw can be seen in the first photo. Good Luck!

This is a rare antique bronze conversation piece. Works wonderfully. Eyes light. Bulb in bronze pipe lights. Lamp hangs on the wall. There is a bracket on the back for hanging. There is a button on his chin where you can turn him on and off. Also a switch on the lamp cord. When lite his eyes are blue. You can change his bulb in pipe to also orange or yellow. I have white in bulb in at this time. Wood plaque that bronze is mounted on is in nice condition. The lamp measurements are 9 inches high by 8 inches wide.

Overall this is 10 1/2" and the glass globe. Case and brass lamp do not show any damage. It is a wall mount and the round wall mount area is 6" across the center. The elder estate seller(100 miles north of NYC) said his Uncle lived in Brooklyn NY and owned a tug boat decades ago and this is from the old tug boat. It is very heavy weighing 6 pounds without packageing and box. It was very hard to read but the globe has letters and numbers that look like"9S4971-L" but not positive of the numbers as they are in lightly raised glass. The brasss cage or basket area has no breaks and it reads numbers that look like"24CGH" or something like that is raised brass. The case also reads"R&S CO. which stands for the Russell& Stoll co) There is no other writing anywhere on this 3 pc set so I have no idea how old ... morethis actually is but it is very industrial. From an estate sale is this very unique Antique Vtg Brass Wall Mounted Oil or Kerosene Lamp. It measures 15" tall and is about 5" at its widest. The two glass window panes are intact and there is a panel that you open to access the wick of the lamp. The wick does move up and down ... moresmoothly and you remove the top to access the oil reservoir. There are no dents in the brass or damage just normal wear as seen in photos. You simply mount the round brass circle to the wall and slip the oil lantern into it. Brass Gimbal Lamp, Edison Socket, Bryant Switch Maritime/Train Table/Wall Light
This light measures about 7½" tall. And the base is 4" in diameter. The socket is marked Edison, and the switch Bryant. There is a small ½" hairline crack on the first ring of the base. I tried to photograph it. But it didn't show up in the photo. The loop that hung the lamp has been cut off to make it a table lamp. The cord is definitely not original or appropriate to the lamp. Beautiful cast brass or bronze harp with GE switch. Lamp is about 8 1/2" Tall and 4" at the base. Beautiful Art Nouveau/ Deco style. Entire lamp is non-ferrous with the exception of the base weight. Socket is held in harp with pins[not screws] Small set screw at base of socket is missing. Lamp is unsafe and in need of total rewiring. Switch has good"snap" to it. So it may be good. Heavy Old Nautical Wall Mounted Brass Kerosene Lamp
Very heavy– especially the base– old brass kerosene lamp. 8 ½” tall, 3 ½” across the base. It will stand alone, but is fitted with substantial pegs high on two sides that fit into angled slots of a wall-mounted bracket, and would presumably remain upright in an ocean swell. How far it would swing would of course depend on the height of the chimney. The wick is clean; the mechanism works smoothly; the dome at the top is signed with a‘T’ over‘M’ The surface has darkened fairly uniformly. Very good condition. There are a couple of dents, fortunately, given the dark color of the surface, not very visible. The more obvious one is a linear 1” dimple. No cracks, corrosion, scratches, or repair. It is found in good used condition, but is missing parts such as the bracket, wick and glass chimney. The base is signed"Perko" Someone wrote the word"Dee" in red on the base too. Both are best seen in photo#5. This lamp is weighted so when hung, it will maintain in an upright position. The base has an approximate diameter of 2 3/4" and measures approximately 6 1/4' in size. Measures approx. 5"x11" It is made of heavy bronze/brass. The wiring has been changed to include a switch for indoor/study use. This was originally used for bulkhead or ship use.
