Shown is a copper. Brass, and glass ship's cargo lamp or oil lantern. This piece is from England. The flame adjuster says- MNIT English made. It is a vintage item. Although it is new, it is"new" old stock, has been stored for over 20 yrs. Th is item is not perfect. Has few imperfections. Please look over pictures. We believe these to be lacquered. And therefore may not get much patina! The lantern stands 15" high. It is 6" on each side, and weighs in at about 5 lbs. What a great addition to a nautical collection. It measures approximately 15" tall(not including handle) and 6.5" square(not including fittings/external bars) The lid is closed by a latch and clip. Open this to expose the inner chimney. Which can be easily removed by pulling up on the two brass handles in opposing corners. The chimney is in like new condition and the wick raiser works like a dream. There are four outer glass panes that easily slide in and out for cleaning. They are crystal clear and in very good condition with no visible chips. The rivets on this lantern are copper. Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

This is a VERY HIGH Quality brightly polished VINTAGE BRASS NAUTICAL SHIPS CARGO LIGHT OIL LANTERN and VERY VERY SOLID. Measures 10" tall with top loop standing up straight and approximately 4.5 inches at it's widest point. Classic design. Heavy thick brass. Bottom unscrews where oil and wick can be placed. Glass Globe is a 1/4" thick glass. This lantern weighs a surprising 1 pound and 14.1 ounces(almost 2 pounds) Nothing thin and cheap. All heavy duty quality. We think it was made back in the 1950's. It has a Perko Style Look. But no signatures and actually it bit better quality. One heavy 3/8" gage loop on top with 2 small side loops on bottom to hold in down secure at Sea.
