No chips or cracks on lens, some dents and scratches as to be expected on a lamp this old, bottom metal strip missing on left side, This vintage ship lantern Height is about 11" to top of handle. 8" without handle, 5" across base. Vintage PERKO Nautical Marine Navigation Light w/ selector- battery powered
Vintage PERKO Nautical Navigation Light w/ selector. Displays red. Green or white lamps. Operational. 7 1/4" dia. and 5 1/2" h. Glass dome is 2 7/8" dia. and 3" h.approx. Requires(2) D batteries. Not included. For use on a small boat. Made of tin(I believe) it appears similar to a film canister. The metal body has mostly minor surface rust with a small hole on the underside. The aged, dark patina is a little rough. There is an"on-off" toggle switch located on the side. The glass dome reads"PERKO" and is clear, clean and in good shape, except for two very small, almost un-noticeable chips close together on the edge where it screws onto the base. The wired controller has three buttons, labeled Red, Green and White for selecting the lights individually, or all of the three other lamps at once, for maximum ... morebrightness. One lamp is always lit. The four bulbs appear to be original and have lost some of their colored tinting. Only one of the four sockets does not seem to work. Also, I have improvised a small flat piece of metal where the battery holder has corroded to provide a completed circuit so that the lamps will light up.

Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. The green and red glass panels are curved, but the red panel is complete but broken. See images) With a lot of polishing, I believe that it could shine again. First is that it was used on a railway train lantern or train bridge signal light. They other response I got was that it was a ship's signal light or used for navigation through fog. I have a brass marker lamp listed this week and this is a second mechanism. It has a wheel of sockets that holds 4 bulbs. As one burns out. The mechanism rotates and lights the next bulb. I can't find the manufacturer name on it. There are just some serial numbers. The mechanism measures about 5 inches across the base and about 6 inches to the top of a bulb. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. This is painted mist gray, a standard US Navy color, but cannot find any markings to prove this. In fact, the only markings I can

HUGE 19" KILBORN SAUER CO. Nautical Ship navigation Light Lantern Antique
This is a HUGE antique ship navigation light. I have never seen one this large. It weighs over 17 lbs and measures 24"including the handle. The bottom plate is missing. The globe is red and is stamped and made by Perko so I think just the glass was made by them. Im not sure if this has the original wiring or if it was rewired for personal use there is a light bulb inside that hangs from the top. The bulb and wires can be easily removed.

Tug boats used an arrangement of these to indicate the length of the tow line. They weigh approximately 14 lbs, stand 9" tall and are 6" wide at the base. A new normal light socket has been installed and is ready to be easily wired from the side or bottom of the light. The top of the light comes off by loosening the four nuts on the base to change the bulb.

Up for sale is a very old Nautical Maritime Navigation Brass PORT Lantern/Light. Let me start by saying I do not know what I have here; it is old. Weathered and has some rust and oxidizing on the lantern. The top hanging part is loose as screws not secure in the back of it. I believe it is copper and or brass. I do not see any name on the lantern. There are no dents on the lantern. Front screw opening. The front has the word PORT. The light is heavy red glass. Not plastic. There is no interior piece that lights the lantern. The glass has come loose and the metal frame has separated in the corner but all of this can be fixed. Could use a cleaning/polishing. For its age. It is in very good condition. A GREAT LOOKING ANITQUE SHIPS HEAVY IRON METAL NAUTICAL LIGHT.INSIDE HEAVY GLASS IS DEEP RED.NO DAMAGE TO IT. IT IS AROUND 6 1/2 INCHES TO TOP OF ROUND FINGER HOLE PIECE. NOT SURE WHO MADE IT.HAS THE FOLLOWING MARKS ON TOP.9-S-4885-L.ON BOTTOM BASE AREA THE MARKINGS ARE 4335.L-29.ONLY HAVE THIS PART OF THE LIGHT. NO BOTTOM AREA WAS AT SALE WHERE FOUND. Large Nautical Stern / Bow Lantern / Light. Blue / Red Navigation
Beautiful large Bow/ Stern lantern- light. 11.5" long4 1/4" wide Height 3 3/4" Stamped inside it says AC 9000-1 Pat Pend also a watch dial with the numbers 12- 3- 6 and 9 highlighted! It weigh over 4 pounds and it is very solid. The chrome is in very good condition and I would not re chrome at this point. Some very light pitting! The lenses are plastic in excellent condition! Not sure if this came off a Riva. Chris Craft, Higgins, Garwood etc! Thank you for looking!
