Use your own judgment. And look at the pictures carefully. They probably date back to the teens or 1920s. The brass has been painted over with black paint. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern. This pair(2) of Vintage 1950's Brass Marine Kerosene Lamps is Gimball Mounted and in excellent condition. They are weighted and wall mount. They are marked AA on the wall mount and have some writing on the wick crank but no other marks. They weigh approximately 1.5 lbs each and have the original chimney's. One of the chimneys has a minor chip but nothing that will detract from the beauty of the piece or the function. There are minor scratches in the brass due to age and normal wear and tear. Antique Brass kerosene Ships lantern R C Murray Glascow Nautical Marine
This auction is for an antique ships lantern with a makers label that reads R C Murray limited 37 Cavendish SI Glasgow. Which is in Scotland. This was a working lantern and has seen some use. It has been lovingly repaired and shows some tarnish. I have tried to show all this in the pictures. I have not attempted to clean it or change the batina. It stands 18" tall. It is missing one pane of glass which could be easily replaced. This is a very unique and collectible nautical item, very rare to find in this good condition because these lanterns were used at sea and exposed to salt conditions over long periods of time.

Vintage Brass Marine Swivel Kerosene Wick Lamp D.H.R. Holland Beautiful Boat
Here for auction is a wonderful vintage Marine boat lamp. I believe this to be run on kerosene. Has the mounting bracket that screws to the wall. Has a double swivel deal that will keep it straight while the boat is rocking. The wick does not appear to have been burned so I don't know if the wick is new or if this has just never been fired. It is all brass and has a great weight to it. Stands approx 5.5" tall and 4.75" side to side. The swivel arm has a great design to it as shown. There are scratches and tarnish to the metal and a ding that I can see on the side. This may have has a glass globe at some point but that is no longer here if it did.
