Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. It has been sitting on a shelf for years and could use a good cleaning. It is being sold in as is condition. Please see my other antique nautical items up for auction this week. This is a pair of old nautical bow lights.The lenses are marked inside Kilborn Sauer.There is one with a red glass lense and one with a green glass lense.They are in very good physical condition they appear unsed.The housings are made of sheet metal with a galvinized finish.It has screws to connect the sections of the housing together.The lenses are thick glass with ribs.The top of the housing has a semi rounded design.The bottom has the threaded covers that holds the light socket.The cover for the light socket unscrews to take the socket out.The housings are about 4 3/8" high.The sides are about 2 3/4" long and the lenses measure about 4 3/4" long around the curve.The insulation on the wire is cracking from age and will need replacement.The lenses age in great overall condition with a few tiny nicks on the ribs at the ends. ... moreSHIPPING IN THE U.S.A. Vintage Boat Nautical Bow Light Glass Lenses Original Finish
This listing is for one bow light with green and red glass lenses in excellent original condition. To show how the light would look lit up. I took out the original bulb assembly and placed the housing over a Christmas bulb(not included. The original light bulb is a Mazda 6-8 volt. The socket is in working condition, just insert the two wires into the holes and tighten the set screws. The chrome finish is shiny with a few light scratches and overall looks new. The screws that hold the glass in are all original and all there. The original stainless steel mounting screws, washers and nuts are included. The glass says K S 900. It measures 6" front to back, 3 1/2" tall and 4" wide at the base. I do not know what kind of boat this came from, possibly Chris Craft? This would look great put back into service on a boat or in a nautical ... morebar setting.

Good working condition with 3 different on and off settings.The first setting will turn on the red and blue base boat light. Second setting will turn off red and blue base light and the main lamp will turn on, third setting will turn on both red, blue and main lamp setting so with the last setting the entire lamp will be lit. Here is a BEAUTY of an old VINTAGE/ANTIQUE PERKO ship/ boat running light. This is an ORIGINAL BRONZE or Brass not sure very heavy 6 pounds. This is a HUGE 10 inch long x 5 1/2 wide x 5 inch tall ORIGINAL PERKO. This has a clear glass and the GLASS is in MINT CONDITION Has a really nice PURPLE TINT TO THE GLASS FROM YEARS OUT ON THE WATER. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The Bronze has a few chrome specs remaining in a couple of spots and a couple of faint very minor spots-scratches. There is a mark on the rim photo 6 and there are a couple of foundry pour marked when it was made photo 7. Has polished up very nice. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER OF A PIECE from a time gone by. I am not sure if this might have been a STERN LIGHT. There is NO light in the housing but the socket is there as well as the circular marked PERKO light plug ... morephoto 12 reads PERKO. The item in these photos is the item you will receive. Made in Brooklyn. New York by Perkins(Perko) Marine Lamp and Hardware. A red and blue bow light. Beautiful patina on this light. This could shine if you cleaned it up but I love leaving the maritime antiques with the patina on them. The picture with the light is a flashlight used to light up the glass. The glass is in excellent condition with only a very small chip on a tip of one of the edges. So the light does not come through. The photos show it all. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This is a vintage bow light that is a bolt on unit and can be removed when not needed. It came in a box of fishing and hunting items. It's made in USA. I can't see a manufacturers name though. It has patent no. 2301714 on both sides. The internals look good. This wasn't stored with a battery in each side. So it's not all corroded or anything. The bulbs look clean and the parts look good, the inner housing have some light rust. The external parts show it's age. It could be cleaned up. But, I don't like to clean and shine old items, I would rather sell them as they come, as they look, and let the buyer decide. So, what it looks like is what it is. Here's a neat vintage item with red glass on one side and green on the other.several small chips. I believe it is brass. see photos for a better condition insight. It is dented on back of lamp and missing one screw. it appears to be adjustable. I have not truly cleaned this item. The base is almost 4 1/2" in diameter and is stamped. S&J. This is STEELE& JOHNSON(boat,house) I'm not sure what year it was made(30's,40's? although it is from an old estate. the height is about 7" at that angle. I don't know if it could be wired?
