VINTAGE BRONZE CONCORDIA YAWL PORT MASTHEAD LIGHT NR
The previous owner of this light told me it came off a concordia yawl and it was the port masthead light. The mast was damaged back in the 70's by a storm and her grandfather took it down and was in the process of repairing it when he had a stroke and the project had to come to a stop. They had a sale and the light was in the barn so here it is. That's all I know about it. I'll let the pictures speak for it and will try and answer any? the best I can. U. S. NAVY WW II MASTHEAD LIGHT This great light is waterproof and sported 6 x 15 volts for very bright lights. Why 6 you ask? Because the light was positioned on top of the mast. Making it hard to reach to replace a bulb during battle conditions, and if some burned out the others carried on! I have no idea how the bulbs were powered or how the wiring worked. You can take out the bulb sockets in the light and it has a pretty deep cavity to either place a battery or add your own lighting. I did not make any holes or try to adapt it for a more modern light. Vintage WWII US Navy Ships Double Light Port/Starboard Masthead Restored Bronze
This is a very nice vintage USN navigation light. It has an older plug on it. It will hold 12 bulbs- 6 each light. There are 3 lights installed in each side of the lamp that are in it come on when plugged in(1 of the bulbs on either side may be burned out. It will hold 12 bulbs- 6 each light. This looks to be made out of solid bronze and/or brass. The red lens has a small scratch and one or 2 very small chips and the white/clear lens has a small chip. US Navy WWII Masthead Light and Anchor Class III for Torpedo Boats 1944
This is a Masthead Light and Anchor. Class III, modified 9-S-5497-L under Lights-Running, Anchor and Signal. This is listed in a parts specification catalog at the Historical Navy Ship Assoc site. This goes on a Motor Torpedo Boat PT 617 Class 565-624 Series"Elco" 80 foot gun boat for the US Navy. Specs were issued in 1944. This is a very cool piece though it is very old and shows its age well. Heave metal frame work with thick glass globe. There are some small chips in the glass in several places. Look at pictures closely as I tried to put them in the photos. No light inside, understand it should be red. Did not try to open it or clean it in any way. Original paint is chipping and it has rust. RARE Large Antique Ships Masthead light WW2 era
Super rare masthead light. Made by A. WARD HENDRICKSON. BROOKLYN NY. The glass was made by PERKO. The glass has some chips in it. But its very thick glass so theres no cracks. The body is a very heavy metal. Not sure what. It weights over 21 pounds. It looks like it was originaly battlship grey but repainted red. Paint is chipping off. Its missing the cover which looks like it screwed on by the theaded top. It was retrofitted with an electric light which is in working condition. Needs to be hard wired or you can attach a plug. I rigged it up for the pics. Lamp is huge. It measures 15" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep.

This is a real ship's masthead or range white light that received it's light from kerosene oil. The galvanized metal contains some minimal surface rust as one can see in the picture. The metal is all totally solid and the glass is in perfect condition. The brass oil burner is complete and in good working condition except there is no wick. I don't know who they are, or what that stands for, I don't know much about this, it was purchased at a flea market by my mother 10-15yrs ago. Made by the Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corporation This item was listed in the 1939 Catalog but not the 1934. according to a person on Ebay that sent me a message about it. Also he said he has not seen one on Ebay for the last 4 years. I cannot find another one of these on the internet or Ebay. Perfect mint condition. but missing wire handle. This item is 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide. My understanding of this rare piece was to take it aloft and place on mast during anchor at night. Old Copper Nautical "Masthead" Light - Electric Wired Hall Light???
This auction is for a copper. Electric wired nautical light marked"Masthead" on the top. It fits flush to the wall from a bracket. The bracket is missing, but it can be purchased at any hardware store. The height of this light is 4 inches. The metal is copper, but there also may be brass and tin. It has an old patina which I did not try to polish. There are remnants of white paint that I also did not try to remove. The back door swings open for easy access to the inside. I think the glass is actually plexiglass. It has been rewired and has a new 15W bulb. It works. I left the wire bare because I think this is a hall light. I know absolutely nothing about this little treasure, but it appears to be old and authentic. Copper Brass Channel Buoy Marker - Navigation Running Light Port - Masthead
Large Copper Brass Channel Buoy Marker- Navigation Running Light Port-Red Masthead. Good condition for its age. One top latch that holds the cover on needs to be fixed. It broke off and the the cage that protects the clear glass, has come apart at one place on the bottom.Can easily be repaired and used if needed, makes a great display piece and will work when wired and weatherproofed. It's not perfect but its old.Some repair needed. The name plate-maker plate was on the top but its not there anymore.It appears to have Chinese Japanese writing on the red lens and top.the lens has a crack as pictured but has not come apart. The clear glass has no cracks. Measures 9 inches high and 11 in across. About as high and wider then a paint can. Rare. Please see pictures.

Antique Nauticial Masthead Light
Up for bidding pleasure we have a; Nautical Masthead light! This light came from an estate auction. We were glad to be able to offer it to our customers and buyers. They are getting harder to find in any condition. This on would be a very easy re-purpose. As you can see from the pictures it has the two glass in then front. They are in great condition. The hinged top is with the brass handle, with the badges on top, which reads E.Beacon& Co, Makers, Grimsby. Then the second badge which MASTHEAD. The piece is made of Brass and Copper. It has years of tarnish, but as you can see from the pictures someone had removed the tarnish from different places on top, believe to see if it were brass or copper.Has two heavy brass mounting feet on the front as well as a heavy brass mounting plate on the back. Be-sure to view all the pictures for the ... moredetails and determining the condition for yourself. Its not a young one and the age shows though he patina. Impressive Ship Light. Masthead light made by H.L. Piper, antique marine From Prince Edward Island Canada Large masthead ship light. Wires were cut, not tested, no bulb. More for decoration, but if you were handy could rewire I suppose. Note that the light Has some damage to one of the sides of glass as pictured. Up for sale is an extraordinary Very Large Vintage Meteorite Copper Masthead Nautical Ships Light with thick original and very rare Fresnel Lens. It is currently converted into an AC Light which will accept a standard light bulb as shown in the photos. This is an awesome sized copper lamp which most likely saw usage on the Chesapeake Bay.
