VINTAGE MARINE LAMP BY PERKINS MARINE HARDWARE (PERKO)
Wonderful old marine lantern from an estate along the Ohio River. No dents or scratches and an excellent fresnel lens. The lamp seems to be original. It stands 9" tall and 7" in diameter. The body is copper and has a small brass makers tag on the bottom edge. Lamp weighs about 5# This is called a dock light and is missing a battery box which attaches to the bottom. I have lowered my asking price to reflect this. Would still make a great light or display piece.

ANTIQUE PERKO MASTHEAD SHIPS MARINE LANTERN LAMP SMALL OIL LAMP FRESNEL LENSE For your consideration is this Antique Perko Ships Lantern. This lantern has been converted from oil to electric. There is a dent on the bottom edge. This has made it out of round& where the insert only lines up in one position. One of the locking wires has come disconnected but is still present& included. Clear perko Fresnel lens in great condition with no cracks. This lens is a full cylinder. This lantern is just over 6" tall and is 4.25" across the b ottom. I have made no attempts to polish or repair this lamp. This is the condition i found it in. This piece will make a great little project for someone who likes to tinker with things. Or just leave it the way it is, as it's still charming!

Up for auction is this old P ERKO ships lamp. It must be the largest lamp made by Perko. It stands an impressive 2 4" tall. With handle raised. M easures 11 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" deep. This could have been a cargo lamp. Steaming l ight. Anchor light, or a stern light. Not really sure. Somewhere on it's journey it was electrified and has a bulb inside and the burner is not present. It has a thick Fresnel lens that is turning purpl e with age and it has a crack in it that is stable. Doesn't detract much from the old lamp. Still displays beautifull y.With a r ich patina that adds to the salty character. This Perko lamp was made in Brooklyn. New York a long time ago and after being at sea for many years. This is an antique globe lantern with globe red glass. Measures 15.75" tall x 9 1/2" across. The beautiful red glass that appears to be hand blown reads"Perkins 10" Frederick Perkins founded the Perkins Marine Lamp Company in the late 1800's in Brooklyn. His lamps were hand formed and soldered from brass. Copper and galvanized steel. About 1922, the trademark name PERKO was introduced and their products were marked with PERKO instead of PERKINS. Marine Lamp Lantern Light Perko Perkins 14" Tall Antique Marine
Up for sale is this vintage Perko. Perkins marine lantern. It is in the same condition as when I bought it, dirty, and that is the way it will be received. It looks as though it was dropped on the side and sort of pushed in the side of the bottom. Not sure about the fixture inside, don't know if that is original. The glass looks great, don't see any cracks or chips. It measure apx. 14" tall and 7" across the bottom. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Offered for your bidding consideration is a very rustic looking Perkins Marine Lamp. Handsome verdigris abound! This lamp is located in Stockton. California which is, in tonage, the 4th busiest port on the West Coast. In the early days of California Stockton was the hub. Many regarded Stockton as the in-land San Francisco. It was a rough place and full of vice. Many different forms of boats and ships from sailing vessels to large paddlewheelers made their way to Stockton bringing people and goods. During WWII there were no less than two shipyards making destroyers, balloon barges and tugs for the U.S. Navy. Stockton was also home to the Stephen's Bros. Boat Builders from 1902 to 1987. Richards Estate Sale Perko Boat Signal This is an amazing piece from maritime history. This piece was made by Perko(Perkins) and has really withstood the test of time. Unlike many of these lanterns this one still has the original Perko lamp inside as shown in pictures. The sliding hatch mechanism still works on this piece. It was used as a display piece in the house and they had a screw in the base of the signal to hold the sliding hatch open. This is the most complete piece of this kind that we have seen on eBay and a great addition to all maritime collectors. It's a antique Perko flashlight boat light. Measures 14" tall. Would clamp onto any boat or dingy. The only damage is in pic#5. It has some cracking in thread area. So if you put batteries in it, it pops open because threads won't give a firm fit. No corrosion, and takes batteries. Lights nicely, see pic#10. Looks brass and tin. Offered for sale is a antique/ vintage Perko brass pie shaped marine lamp. The lamp stands about 12-1/2" tall and with the top ring is 14-1/2" tall. It is about 8" wide across the front. The top features a pierced"lighthouse" shaped vent. The glass is green. Ribbed and convex shaped. There are bars in front of the glass. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior still has the oil and wick original lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. There is a Perko brass tag stating"Known the World Over" +"Perko" +"P.M.L.Co Bklyn, NY" This lamp was probably originally galvanized to prevent corrosion. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern. Vintage Large Electric Perko Marine Lamp Lantern Was told this is a WWII bow Convoy lamp. The deep purple glass was used as a very short range lamp so as to avoid U-boats from detecting them. It is in very good condition for its age. There are no chips or cracks in glass. Has a screw off top. There are a few minor dings on the top, but overall, it is in very good condition. Power cord measures 11' Measures: 15"H, 9.5"W. Would make a great conversation piece or an excellent addition to a WWII collection. Great vintage piece.not many of these left. Great Pair Large WW2 Perkins Perko Marine& Hardware Lamp Co. Port& Starboard This is a great pair of large Perko WW2 Ships Port& Starboard lamps as shown. These came from an estate here in Slocum. RI, and they were mounted on a U.S. ship that a member of the family was employed on during the war. I cannot verify this, just going by what I was told. Anyway, they have been electrified some time ago, and they are wired together so they both light together. They are quite large, measuring 22" tall, x 10" x 10" x 15" from point to point of the front rounded part. There is a small chip on the bottom edge of the red lense, although the picture makes it look a lot bigger. No cracks or hairlines on either lense. Both lenses are quite heavy duty glass, and look great lit up. Shipping weight will be about 30-lbs.

MY RESEARCH INDICATES THAT THIS MARINE LAMP IS A PERKO MODEL 1155. SIZE 2. THEY WERE MADE BETWEEN 1916 TO 1930,S. THIS IS A STARBOARD LAMP. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. MADE OF GALVINIZED STEEL, BRASS AND GLASS; THE GLASS LENS IS A DARK AUQA MARINE COLOR. IT MEASURES APPROX.17 INCHES HIGH AND 12 INCHES WIDE. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
