Add 1"5/16" to it for where the wire comes out. 3"3/4" Across cap not including the spots of the bolts. 9-S-4532-L Number on lid. Looks to be made of aluminum. Added 3 pictures of the lens. Found a small chip shown in picture 1. Glass lens looks to be in really good condition. One chip. No cracks that we can see. Did not unbolt it. Lens may be about 3"3/8" dia x 3" to 3"1/8" tall. Again we did not take it apart. That is a new owner project. Light is in fair condition for it's age. Had it over 35 years myself. Check out our pictures. Questions just email us. This light housing was meant to be mounted directly to the hull so there is no base-plate. The keyed hole to receive the light socket is found on the bottom of one side. No light socket included. This would have been one of a set. One red, one green for the starboard and one deck mounted light for the clear light. Base is 5 1/2" x 10 1/8".

Here is a antique navigation lamp that mounts on the front of a small boat/vessel.Green on the right and red on the left. made by National Aluminum Co. Racine, Wis.No 47. i goggled the number and didn't come up with any info on it.i think its a 6 volt lamp.it looks like its been around awhile and the aluminum has dulled.there are no cracks in it and it looks like each of the peices were mounted on something as the 2 peices have nubs on them and they don't fit together.overall it looks like with a good cleaning it can be put back into use.you may or maynot want to polish it.they measure about 4 1/8" tall. shipping will be $12.65 in a med flat rate box.Thanks.

It is very large and has 2 clear globes that are 6 inches in diameter, each globe measures 7 inches tall. The whole light fixture it self measures 9 inches in diameter and is 16 inches tall, it has a clear light on top and a red light on bottom. It is electric and works great. This appears to be a VERY well made light for the stern of your vintage boat. It was made by the Seiss company of Toledo Ohio and appears to be nickel or chrome plated brass. The lens is uncracked and incredibly thick- about 1/4 inch. I haven't tested it but there doesn't seem to be any corrosion or problems.

Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Lights, Maritime Boat Decor, Naval, Red Glass
This listing is for(2) Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Lights. These were salvaged off of a 100' naval boat that was being scrapped. They have ruby red glass and the glass is in good shape with no chips or cracks. The black plastic part has some crud stuff on it that can be cleaned off if desired. You will get both lights shown. They measure approximately 9" long x 4 1/2" wide at the widest part. A neat pair of maritime lights to add to your collection or to make something out of! You will note the size of this piece as being larger than most offered previously: Tung Woo Anchor Light. Navigation Light Dimensions: 12 1/2" high x 7 1/2" wide. Weight: 5 lbs. Single Wick Burner. Beautiful. Stunning Patina. Manufactured by the famous Tung Woo Ltd of Hong Kong. Completely manufactured with copper and brass, maker mark badge, and burner. Condition is clean. The light consists of a clear fresnel lens. This lamp would have hung aloft as an anchor light at night. The single wick burner puts out a substantial amount of illumination making this an excellent navigation light used on river and coastal vessels, but mostly in Hong Kong Harbor and Islands off of Mainland China. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. Bulb not included) over all: 4 1/2" wide. 7" tall glass: 3 5/8" wide. 4" tall inline switch on 8 foot electric cord Glass is marked"GB inc" 9-S-4072-L-30" Condition Description This offering is for a vintage nautical light recently wired with a brand new socket. Lamp is easy to take apart. Easy to install bulb. Glass was recently cleaned with dish soap and water although there is still some sticker like residue on it in a few areas. When lit the glass glows red but when off the glass has a darkish tint almost purple in color which hints to very old glass. Glass globe is ... morenot perfect but there are no fractures or major cracks; glass does have a few chips, largest one is pictured and there are two other minor ones plus some small nicks, scratches and marks along with heavy oxidation which is causing the purple tint. Plastic grommet was install on the top with a few layers of electrical tape around it to help keep it snug in the brass although I would not recommend hanging the light from the cord alone. THIS IS A VERY NICE VINTAGE PERKO BOW BOAT NAVIGATION LIGHT. THE INSIDE IS EMPTY THERE IS NO LIGHT INCLUDED. YOU ARE GETTING JUST THE CASE. THE GLASS DOES HAVE A FEW MINOR SCRATCHES WHICH IS TO BE EXPECTED FOR ITS AGE. ONE OF THE"RIBS" APPEAR TO BE CHIPPED BUT IT IS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. THERE IS ALSO A SPOT ON THE RED SIDE. THEY ARE NOT SHARP LIKE YOU WOULD EXPECT A CHIP TO BE. YOU GET RED AND GREEN GLASS INCASED IN BRASS THAT DOES HAVE SOME PETINA BUT CAN BE EASILY POLISHED. Up for sale is a very old Nautical Maritime Navigation Brass PORT Lantern/Light. Let me start by saying I do not know what I have here; it is old. Weathered and has some rust and oxidizing on the lantern. The top hanging part is loose as screws not secure in the back of it. I believe it is copper and or brass. I do not see any name on the lantern. There are no dents on the lantern. Front screw opening. The front has the word PORT. The light is heavy red glass. Not plastic. There is no interior piece that lights the lantern. The glass has come loose and the metal frame has separated in the corner but all of this can be fixed. Could use a cleaning/polishing. For its age. It is in very good condition.
