VINTAGE MARINE LAMP BY PERKINS MARINE HARDWARE (PERKO)
Wonderful old marine lantern from an estate along the Ohio River. No dents or scratches and an excellent fresnel lens. The lamp seems to be original. It stands 9" tall and 7" in diameter. The body is copper and has a small brass makers tag on the bottom edge. Lamp weighs about 5# This is called a dock light and is missing a battery box which attaches to the bottom. I have lowered my asking price to reflect this. Would still make a great light or display piece.

It is fairly weathered and has some rust on the inside. But it looks really cool. Also, there is a small crack on the top in the front(you can see it in the first photo) Light/ Lamp is not included. It is approximately 12" tall, 6.5" wide and 5" deep. It weighs 2.5 pounds. Nice old Perkins M.L. Co. marine lantern. PERKO model. Body is galvanized steel with brass cap. Label and hinges.Complete with unbroken glass globe. Does not include the kerosene burner, but if desired, any small kerosene burner or candle would fit inside. Stands 14 inches tall including the ring on top. No sure of exact age but best guess would be ca. 1916 based on label and PERKO trademark.

The star of the show in this large vintage"Perko" brass lantern is the stunning heavy red glass Fresnel lens. As you can see. Sitting in front of a window it looks like the light is turned on.Very heavy with the brass construction. You may enjoy the vintage charm of the current"patina" or choose to give the brass a nautical shine. A nice pair of red and green lens oil burning perkins perko marine lamps. They are made of brass and galvanized steel. Stand 12 inches tall to the ring and are 9 inches wide in the front. 2- Vintage copper Perko Perkins Marine Barge Lamp Nautical Light Lanterns. Lanterns have clear glass and measure just over 13 inches from the bottom to the top of the handles. They are about 9 1/2 inches to the outside of each bracket mounted on the side of the lights. It looks like the screws in the handle on one of the lights has been replaced with new brass screws. The clear glass does have some small flea bites chips you can feel if you rub your finger around each edge of the rippled glass. It only appears that the lids or tops are copper or brass. I don't know anything about these as they were found in an estate clean out. I was told they are Perko lamps but found no markings- please do your own homework. Both look to have been rewired based on the 12v sticker inside. Now they have 110v wiring, one is missing a plug. Look to be made out of brass and galvanized, and the exterior of the galvanized is painted a flat black. Both lenses appear to be in great shape and are stamped'Perkins C/L 3 Side' and'FIC259 Mould No 3' They are approx 12" x 6" x 6" each and weigh about 3 3/4 lbs each.
