Chris Craft Boat Parts Half-Mile Ray Spotlight
Hi all, This is a"Half-Mile Ray" spotlight off of a 1951 Chris-Craft Double Cabin Flybridge Cruiser. It clearly is very green-patina" lol. The interior portion is in pretty good shape. With some chrome loss on the top of the upper wheel-which you wouldn't be able to see when installed. Most of the little black specks that you see on the interior portion are soot. I got most of it off. But there is a little left. The boat that I salvaged this off of had caught on fire-which in no way affected the operability of the light. But the interior of the boat, especially things on the ceiling, were black as pitch. For those not familiar with these. One can move the light both side to side and up and down by using the two control wheels. Pretty darn cool. I can't guarantee the bulb will live through the shipping process. Up for auction is this vintage ship's spotlight that was off a Maine Chris Craft. The spotlight was made by the Portable Spotlight Company. Inc. of New York and is named the"Half-Mile-Ray" as inscribed on the brass plaque on top of the spotlight. The 24" high chrome spotlight assembly was installed on the bow of the Chris Craft and has a 8" diameter lamp that when mounted to the deck stands 15" above the deck. The spotlight adjusts 360 degrees and up and down 90 degrees when electrically wired to the existing wiring.The chrome has pitting from years of use in the ocean off Portland, ME but still is in very good condition and appears to be complete with no light bulb. One Mile Ray 12V Vintage Search Spotlight Model 833 by The Portable Light Co. I believe this is a Half Mile Ray Style as is listed on bottom of unit. A little confusing as top states both One Mile and Half Mile. I tested this unit with a 12v battery and the spotlight came right on. There is no glass or lens and there is pitting and other wear on the chrome finish. Best advice is look at the detailed photos very carefully as you are able to zoom in on my pics to determine condition and identification. This item is definitely worth restoring or using as is on an older boat. Sold as is with No Returns. Will be packaged securely and shipped Fed Ex Ground as that is the cheapest and most efficient.

Vintage Remote Control Half Mile Ray Search Light/ Spotlight. No. 844 Manufactured in the 1940's to 1950's Era by the Portable Light Co. Solid brass construction and the base is chrome finished, Light and base do have some scratches. Pitting, nicks, weathering.Please see pics, We do not have the remote control connecting rods, Small gear that drives vertical movement is missing? Possibly part of the connecting rod? Bi-Pin socket originally for 6V bulb but can also use 12V(Bulbs are not included) 8" Diameter. 7" deep x approximately 16" tall, Weighs approximately 13 lbs. Gears in good condition. But I don't see a model number on the light itself. Measures 8" Circumference. 12" bolt to bolt across the light and the whole piece is 20" long NO RESERVE!

This is a Half Mile Ray 12 volt Marine Cabin Roof Search/Spot light. Model 833 made by the Portable Light Company. This light is in beautiful condition for it's age and works. All parts are there including the big chrome knobs that are located on the bottom of the shaft inside the vessel cabin with which to swivel the light 360 degrees and to raise and lower the beam angle. It was removed from a fresh water yacht, The chrome has minor pitting and wear as is to be expected with this age, no dents or damage. The chrome is peeling from the bronze base casting. The gears to raise and lower the light are in excellent shape and nothing is missing. I will carefully pack this light and ship to you via USPS economy shipping. This is a Great Item. From the PORTABLE LIGHT CO. NEW YORK. The light is mounted on a battery case with a cord for recharging. The unit didn't work when I purchased it. I took& had it checked out& got it repaired. I have purchased(at a cost of $45.00) had it installed a brand new DURACELL BATTERY(one day old as of today 12/3/204) I don't know if the recharging works or not but I am including the cord which came with it. If you are knowledgeable in this kind of item. You can have fun checking it out& probably get it to recharge if you know how to do so. REALLY BRIGHT LIGHT! VINTAGE ONE MILE RAY Marine Spotlight Searchlight 100% ORIGINAL 1533-TG Originally obtained to install on motor yacht I was restoring. But ended up not using. The company doesn't seem to exist any more, but this light was from the 1950s to early 1960s from what I could ascertain. I do have a pdf copy of the original manual, though, that I will provide with purchase. All original everything. Just cleaned up. Requires a 1000 watt 110v bulb, which is missing, but would be an excellent retrofit for a HID or LED conversion, or just a premier nautical decor item. Very small speckling patina on chrome, but no missing chrome or flat spots. Inner reflector in excellent shape. Glass in perfect shape. Absolutely gorgeous.

Vintage One Mile Ray Spotlight and Tripod Leg Lamp Up for sale is a vintage One Mile Ray spotlight lamp on tripod leg lamp. I believe the lamp is brass. Its not been messed with only cleaned up. One of the legs is slightly shorter than the other, at one point in the history of the item it looks like the leg broke a few inches shorter than the other and it was carved and repaired. The lamp has been re-wired with black cloth twisted cable, vintage plug, bake-life in line switch. It has a new Edison style bulb. VINTAGE HANDHELD SPOTLIGHT HALF MILE RAY PORTABLE LIGHT COMPANY NO.1075 WORKING
Barn find! This handheld Half-mile-ray Model 1075 spotlight from the Portable Light Company was discovered in the barn of a recently purchased home. It appears to be 60's vintage and it is most-likely requires a 7.5 volt screw terminal battery. I hooked up a 9-volt battery from my smoke detector. Flipped the toggle switch to"on" and the light works great. If you are a collector of vintage items, this would be a great addition to your collection. Delivery to lower 48 United States only!
