Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. It has been sitting on a shelf for years and could use a good cleaning. It is being sold in as is condition. Please see my other antique nautical items up for auction this week. Antique Vintage Boat Nautical Marine Oil lamps Port Starboard Green Red Ship
Up for auction are two antique nautical port/ starboard oil lamps. I have yet to see a pair exactly like this with smooth glass. Unfortunately i do not see any markings on them. The body's of the lamp appear to be galvanized but i could be wrong. The lenses of these lamps are in very nice shape with no visable cracks. One is green and one is red. These lamps appear complete minus the one is missing a part out of the bottom as seen in the picture. The only other issue is that the top of the one lamp has a dent and the top has some minor damage. Other then that they would make a great display piece. These are being sold as is. RARE PROTOTYPE of VINTAGE NAUTICAL CLIPPER / SAIL SHIP BOAT LIGHT LAMP
this is 17" long and about 16" tall. cast from aluminum or zinc. Not sure but makers family member said it was zinc. he said his father manufactured these in chicago years ago and that this was the actual prototype. i have seen similar ones made from glass here on ebay and the family did own a glass factory. this one is all metal and no glass. i did not plug it in to test the lights.

This is a very different table lamp I got it at an estate sale I know it is older but not sure of the year. I also don't know if it is factory made or home made. This is a Vintage Nautical Ship Maritime Red Lens Electric Boat Lamp It does work. The red paint is chipping. The Brass housing for the lamp is not damaged. It is about 9 inches tall and is 5.25 inches across at the bottom. There is no damage to the cord. The bolt top(nut) to a post is missing. It looks like a post has been replaced. A brass"MASTHEAD" plaque surmounts the hood of this VINTAGE NAUTICAL LANTERN. It stands 14-1/2 inches tall. Not including handle. Features CURVED GLASS LENS and curved metal reflector plate, Sturdy brass mounting brackets on back- presumably for affixing to the mast of a sailing ship. Constructed of brass, glass, and brass plating over- judging from the tarnish- probably copper? This is most likely an older decorative reproduction. It's rendition is very faithful. And lantern is functional. The base unscrews to take a CANDLE- either one with a wide base, or a taper inserted into your own socket(no disrespect intended) OR. This 8 inch tall lamp has a 3 1/2 inch tall RED glass bezile lense, There are only a couple of specs on the glass that appears to be in very good condition NO CRACKS. The base is 6 inches across and the light is very heavy duty. Not sure if it is military as it appears to be somewhat grey in coloring. There is a number 9-S 4473-L in raised lettering on top. There is a 64 inch heavy duty cord with some type of plug in socket end see photo 5. Not sure if from a ship, dock or pier. Not sure if it works or what type of power supply it used. The previous owner converted it to an indoor display light. The only two things we did were clean/inspect the glass lens and replacing the light cord. Which was defective. There is some corrosion and oxidation on the original three light sockets. The lens is intact with the exception of a crack near the new light bulb that was added. This is the real deal and it was used. Someone at some point of time made it electrical light. The glass has a few chips in the extremely thick glass. There is a couple small dents. But you can't hardly tell with the colors of the lantern. This lantern is unmarked. It is very solid and well made. Here we have a very nice quality matched pair of ~ COPPER NAUTICAL BOAT LANTERNS ~. These Vintage boat lights were recently acquired out of a private estate. They are solid copper with glass lenses and appear to be very nice quality lamps. We believe that these were made in the 1960's era as replacements for the original antique lamps. I would imagine that they were very expensive to purchase when new. They measure 9 1/2 inches tall" not counting the bail handle" by about 6 inches wide. They are in very nice condition with only a couple fairly minor little dents. The ne burner has the chimney and the other burner does not. These Vintage boat lanterns would make a nice addition to your collection or look great on your Vintage boat. Old Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. This is a really cool old lantern. And it was very well made. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. The lantern is very dusty& dirty, and could use a good cleaning, but structurally it appears to be fine, with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable lantern!

These were purchased by my parents in an antiques shop in Upper Michigan near Lake Superior back in the 50's.They were used by them in their nautical themed summer hone for about 20 years then packed away in the attic until found this week. They are very nice and can be either lit up green and red in the glass area if desired by a switch or used a single or double lamp by individual chain pulls. These are in excellent working condition. This auction is for 2 Vintage Seahorse Ship Lights. With no reserve. There are no burners in the lanterns, the auction includes what is shown. The lanterns show wear, have some paint drips, appear to have been repainted, have chips and scratches and can be seen in the eighteen(18) pictures below. I see no holes in the metal and they appear solid. The lanterns are 22" tall not including the handle and are 14" wide- left side corner to right side corner. The Port lantern is missing the"T" screw at the side bracket. The Starboard lantern has the"T" screw in the side bracket. The lenses have glare in my photos, I see no cracks or large scratches in the lenses. The lanterns will be shipped in separate boxes. Selling this very NICE. Wilcox Crittenden heavy-duty brass or bronze, CLEAR lens navigation light. Made from very thick metal unlike most of what is available retail today. Has a W stamped over a C and an anchor below. This Wilcox Crittenden is a nice polished bronze.
