ANTIQUE PERKO MASTHEAD SHIPS MARINE LANTERN LAMP SMALL OIL LAMP FRESNEL LENSE For your consideration is this Antique Perko Ships Lantern. This lantern has been converted from oil to electric. There is a dent on the bottom edge. This has made it out of round& where the insert only lines up in one position. One of the locking wires has come disconnected but is still present& included. Clear perko Fresnel lens in great condition with no cracks. This lens is a full cylinder. This lantern is just over 6" tall and is 4.25" across the b ottom. I have made no attempts to polish or repair this lamp. This is the condition i found it in. This piece will make a great little project for someone who likes to tinker with things. Or just leave it the way it is, as it's still charming!

I think it's a converted to electric from kerosene. Has pull-chain ON/OFF[needs to be looked at by your electrician, may need to be rewired] nautical light. Has a beautiful heavy thick amber Fresnel glass lens with a few large chips[see pictures] marked"CORNING" MADE IN USA" on one side and"TODD" on other side. Heavy weighs 15 pounds. Bottom casting is non-magnetic[I think it's bronze/brass] with some greening.
