Antique PERKO Brass Adjustable Marine Spot Light Boat Search Light Nautical
This is a really cool old Perko marine spotlight or searchlight. It is solid brass and I think the light holder is a cast red brass. I couldn't find anything on the light that a magnet would stick too. It seems to be structurally in good condition. The brass could use cleaning and polishing as there's a lot of patina to the brass. The thin strip around the top and bottom of the light have some small slits. Maybe for fitting the brass around the body of the light. The light is also adjustable to be able to aim the light. The half label on the back is a Perko label. Heavy and well made. It has a GE bulb and I was told it works. The wiring is frayed and you should definitely have it checked out or rewired if you're planning on using it as a light though. See the pictures for more detail. Antique Boat Ship Vintage Bow Light Brass Vessel Perko Blue Red Glass Nautical
Up for auction is a antique bow light. I am unsure what boat this was off of but it was definitely removed from a boat here on long island. It appears to have a brass body and blue/ red glass. It does come with a wooden mount. The only issue with this light is it is chipped in the blue portion of the glass. Other then that it appears to be in nice shape. It has been sitting on a shelf for years and could use a good cleaning. It is being sold in as is condition. Please see my other antique nautical items up for auction this week. We were told these came off of a 1940's sail ship. Perko Navigational lights in solid brass cases. These sadly have been painted and will need full restoration including wiring. The red globe has some chipping only visible from inside or the very bottom left corner from the outside. The green globe has no chipping. Both globes and cases have scratching and scuffing throughout from years of use and poor storage. Some paint smeers on the globes as shown. NO cracks. just chips. California which is, in tonage, the 4th busiest port on the West Coast. In the early days of California Stockton was the hub. Many regarded Stockton as the in-land San Francisco. It was a rough place and full of vice. Many different forms of boats and ships from sailing vessels to large paddlewheelers made their way to Stockton bringing people and goods. During WWII there were no less than two shipyards making destroyers, balloon barges and tugs for the U.S. Navy. Stockton was also home to the Stephen's Bros. Boat Builders from 1902 to 1987. This auction is for a rare and unique maritime lantern made by Perko with its original Dietz burner. It measures 8-1/2 inches tall. Is 5 inches wide across the back, 3 inches wide across the front, and is 4-3/8 inches deep. It has a flat back so that it can be mounted on a wall. It has one flaw, the latch for the door in back is broken. It is otherwise in excellent condition with no significant cracks, dents or breaks. The tri-colored original bullet lens glass is still in excellent condition. This is the one you want to complete your collection, so don't let this rare lantern get away! Unlike many of these lanterns this one still has the original Perko lamp inside as shown in pictures. The sliding hatch mechanism still works on this piece. It was used as a display piece in the house and they had a screw in the base of the signal to hold the sliding hatch open. This is an old bronze Perko bow light we found at a local estate sale. It measures 7+7/8 inches long. 4+3/4 inches wide and 3+3/4 inches tall. This one is in used condition. It needs rewiring and has no guts whatsoever. It has a small crack in the bronze on the front of the light and the plug on the back is missing. The lenses are perfect with no chips or cracks. This is a very thick brass nautical light made by Perko. The red glass is original& also very thick. It was rewired for household current& works. The wire is very short& bared at the end& has a cut in it. So it probably should be replaced. It stands 9 1/2" tall. It has two open threaded fittings(one on bottom& one on back) It also has a smaller hole that the new wiring was ran through. I'm not sure if it was on a ship or maybe even a bridge. It is heavy duty, I put it on a bathroom scale& it registered 10 pounds. The glass is still in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was found in an old estate in northern Michigan right on Lake Huron, so it probably has some history. Unfortunately I do not know the history of it. Salvaged Perko 360 Degree Maritime Red Lens # 31A with Brass Base
Offering for sale a salvaged Perko 360 Degree Red Lens and Light with a Brass Base. The red lens is not cracked and has lots of life in it but could use someone who can polish it up and make it look new again. The"O Ring" that goes onto the base of the lens is included but really needs replacing since it seems pretty lifeless. But it does fit the lens. The brass base has a 1/2" FPT. Is pretty rough and needs a good polishing and more. The Perko Mfg. plate is still attached to the base but I can't read a thing on it. There are plier marks on the base exterior near the pipe thread where someone has previously used a big wrench to remove it or tighten it. The light socket. 12V needs replacing. VINTAGE PAIR BRASS SHIPS WALL MOUNT KEROSENE LAMPS",PERKO" & "ENGLISH MADE"
For bid is a vintage pair of brass kerosene wall mount lamps. They are made to turn so they stay level if they are mounted in a boat/ship. One is slightly larger then the the other and 1 is marked"Perko" The one marked Perko measures a little under 6 in. tall with a mounting plate that is 2 3/4 in. across. The other piece is 5 1/2 in. tall and the plate is a little under 2 1/2 in. across. The one that isn't marked Perko does have the words"English Made" on the wick turning screw. The Perko one has a wick and the other one doesn't. They are both done in heavy brass and have a nice patina. There was a sticker at some point and when it was removed. It left a shiny brass area but it should eventually turn darker once it's exposed to air. The Perko one is also missing a few prongs where the shade goes. There are ... morestill enough prongs to hold the shade. Nice pieces that would work great for the boat, garden room or a country room, you will just need shades which are pretty standard. Nice Pair Of Vintage Brass Perko Oil Lamps
This is a nice pair of vintage brass Perko oil lamps. These lamps stand about 6 1/2 inches high and measure about 5 1/2 inches wide at the base. They have a beautiful patina and are freh from a local estate. The glass chimneys unfortunately did not come with these lamps. But I think replacements could easily be found. Perko De-lite Bow Light, brass maritime oil lamp
Weather-bronzed’ Perko De-lite Bow lantern. Oil-burning allbrass lamp with glass lens, 12.25” tall. This model was carried for quite along time by Perkins Marine, This particular lamp was made in the late 1930s(1934 and earlier models has two brass safety bars protecting the lens, whichwas removed from all models by 1939, per the Perko catalogs) Based on estimatesof the Perko stamp in back, it may have been made in the 1940s– 50s. The oil fount was drilled out and electrified. And promptlyrestored to oil burning capability once I acquired it over two years ago. Alsorepaired was lower brass band that holds the lens in place. Other damage fromits years of use including a wire hole in the top and some twisted metal by thevent holes in the back. Page scans are from the 1939 Perko Catalog.

It's a antique Perko flashlight boat light. Measures 14" tall. Would clamp onto any boat or dingy. The only damage is in pic#5. It has some cracking in thread area. So if you put batteries in it, it pops open because threads won't give a firm fit. No corrosion, and takes batteries. Lights nicely, see pic#10. Looks brass and tin. I have a pair of rare vintage brass Perko marine ship's lamps or lanterns. They used to be kerosene or oil but were converted to electric. They are in wonderful shape with no dents or damage and everything is intact. they do however have wear that is consistent with age. Each lantern has a finger lamp inside that is removable as shown in the pictures. A 4 inch reflector/ mirror, and 3 glass panels. Each is also stamped with a brass tag that reads" PERKO Manufacturer's Reg. Trademark Perkin's Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another stamp on the back that reads the same thing. They both measure almost 14" tall. one being about 1/4" taller than the other one. You can definitely tell that these gems were handmade. These are very cool nautical decorations or gifts!

Offered for sale is a antique/ vintage Perko brass pie shaped marine lamp. The lamp stands about 12-1/2" tall and with the top ring is 14-1/2" tall. It is about 8" wide across the front. The top features a pierced"lighthouse" shaped vent. The glass is green. Ribbed and convex shaped. There are bars in front of the glass. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior still has the oil and wick original lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. Antique Perkins Marine Brass & Galvanized Perko Anchor Light w/Original Burner
Perko Anchor Light 10 1/4" high and 4 1/2" in diameter Listed here is a very nice anchor light. The glass is in great shape. There is only minor surface rust on the galvanized parts with no rust thru. The top ring is brass plated, the top is solid brass as are the protector rods over the glass. Fresh from an estate nautical collection is a RARE Antique Perko Brass Ship Lantern with brass tag that reads PERKO Manufacturer's Trademark Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another Perko stamp on the back. Lantern originally sold at some point by Bourne's Hyannis Port Cape Cod Massachusetts. This brass navigation lamp is in excellent condition for its age. No breaks or cracks, some minor wear and scratches as to be expected on a Lamp this old, some soldering. The nautical lamp has a great brass case with glass panels, handle above the rounded chimney at the top, a reflector/mirror, kerosene well is removable for filling. I've never seen this style before. Mfd. by Perko. The main body of the lamp is cast brass and the upper parts are stamped. It stands about 6.5" tall and weighs about 2.5 lbs. Complete and id super condition. Lots of patina. Some prefer it that way so I made no attempt to brighten it. Buyer pays actual postage only- no handling.

Vintage Perko Boat Bow Light Brass Red Green mounted on teak/mahogany wood
Offered here as is. Antique Red Green Perko Boat Bow Light mounted on teak or maybe mahogany wood. We found this piece at a fine Florida estate and were told it came off a Chris Craft vessel. It does have holes on each end of the(teak/mahogany wood) as though it would mount to the bow of a boat. There are minor age cracks in wood on each end. Red& Green Fresnel lens on Perko light is not cracked or chipped. The guy we got this from said he removed it from the Chris Craft boat himself and said it did work when it was removed. This piece is all ONE Piece- the switch on top clicks fine but this Perko navigational light was not possible for us to test. Offered as is. Large- measuring about 23" across and sits about 8" high. And about 8 1/2" to approx 9 1/2" at its widest point. Weighs just over 9 lbs. Please LOOK at ALL ... morePhotos. And if you need to see more- please ask! Feel free to send an offer. This light was converted to an indoor display light but it still has the original three sockets if someone wants to return it to its original use as a nautical light. Either way this nautical light will display well. New/Used: Used. Approximate Dimensions in Inches- Length: 10” Diameter: 5 ½” Condition: Very good. The previous owner converted it to an indoor display light. The only two things we did were clean/inspect the glass lens and replacing the light cord. Which was defective. There is some corrosion and oxidation on the original three light sockets. The lens is intact with the exception of a crack near the new light bulb that was added. This crack is not that noticeable and can only ... morebe seen when the light is on. It does not appear to go all the way through the glass because you can’t feel it with your fingernail on either the inside or outside. Please see the last picture depicting this flaw. This light may have other minor imperfections consistent with use and age.
