A vintage Lovell brass explosion proof industrial/marine lamp from an estate of a man that worked at the Johnston Atoll in the Pacific. On the cage is stamped R& S CO/ 2406B and on the base is LOVELL ARLINGTON.N.J. It has the screw on glass dome and an orange colored light bulb.On the end of the cage it has one bar that is seperated as shown and looks a little out of shape like it's been dropped. In it's original condition. The base measures 3.5 in across and the cage measures 4 in. across. Total height is 8.5 in.

Pirate Themed Lamp - Handmade - 18" Tall x 8" Base - Barrel, Pirate, Ship, Skull
This is my own creation of a pirate lamp! I have built it from a lamp base and added the pirate accessories including the big barrel in the middle; covered with the black leather! I added an old key and a skull& crossbones to the sides. As well as studded leather straps on the top and bottom of the barrel. The added skull, pirate, ship's wheel, and small barrel are all in good condition, and have no chips or breaks. The lamp shade measures 7.5" in diameter. The light stands 14.5" tall w/o the shade, and 18" tall to the top of the finial. The large, middle barrel is not mounted on the base, but rather, pulls up to reveal a secret storage compartment; the barrel top- is closed around the light pole, so that it keeps the secret compartment hidden! Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. This listing is for a large solid brass ship's lantern marked"PERKINS MARINE LAMP& HDWE CORP. It measures approximately 14-3/4" tall(excluding handle) and has a base diameter of 7-1/8" The lantern has been painted black over the brass which shows through in several places(see photos) The lantern is an estate find and we do not know if the paint is original. The high quality of the paint job prompts us to wonder. The glass globe has no cracks in it and the original tank plug is present. The glass is marked Perko 31-L-17A. The oil burner is missing. The lantern takes an oil burner with a 1-3/16 ID thread. There are some minor dings and dents in the lantern as well as a small split in the cap where it joins with the glass globe(see photos) There are no repairs and the split does not affect the integrity of the cap. Antique Vintage Ship Cabin Tabletop Lamp With Bell Rare Nice Works
This is a genuine old nautical tabletop bell lamp that was designed not to turnover in rough seas. It also has a working bell at the top. I suppose the bell would ring as the seas became rough enough to rock the lamp around. Thus waking the sleeping occupant of the cabin and alerting them to the conditions(just a guess on my part) Either way. This is one cool and rare old lamp! It appears to be in original condition. The cord is old and frayed and probably should be changed. But I did not want to alter the originality. The lamp does work. As you can see in the photos. It has a switch on one side. Frosted glass shade and a bell on the top. You can't knock this thing over! It just rolls until it comes back to its upright position. Please review the detailed listing photos. But thanks to the picture on the box, I know that this was never an oil lamp. This was an actual electric lamp that was manufactured and sold by Perko, and it was intended to be used inside the home. It is hard to read, but it looks like 1972 is the postmark date on the box. I have had this Perko hanging electric lamp for over a year now. And in that time, I haven't been able to find out anything about it. I haven't even been able to find a picture of another one online. If it weren't for the original shipping box, I wouldn't know anything about it at all. This lamp has some minor straches. But no dings or dents that I can see. The ... moreglass appears to be crack and chip free. I'm not sure if the lamp currently works, but it would be best to have it serviced and/or re-wired regardless. 2 ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP MARINE NAUTICAL LANTERNS ELECTRIC LAMP BIRDCAGE PERKINS
I apologize for the length but I wanted to be thorough. Up for sale are two antique nautical oil lanterns that were converted for electrical use. After some Internet research I found a match for these lanterns. They are not stamped but identically match the Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation models made during 1916 to 1931. These were considered a"standing light" and were used aboard US Naval torpedo boats. Battle ships and destroyers of the WW1 era, according to"Lanterns That Lit Our World" book 2 page 120 by Anthony Hobson. Size is 17.5 inches tall and about 9 pounds each. These may or may not have been used in that capacity but they due seem genuine even thought they are not stamped with a company name. In any case as you can see one is red and the other is green. The coloring does not seem to be original according to ... morethe research but you can decide whether to keep it that way or remove the paint. Both lanterns have colored bulbs that will come with this auction. Condition The paint on the red lantern is about 50% missing. It was difficult to get a good picture that represented how the red lantern looks with the bulb on. But there is a picture taken from inside the glass to show the condition of the paint. The red lantern also has 3 vertical seams and do not appear to be cracks. I believe the glass was replaced when they were converted since the lines are straight and do not appear to be damage related. The red lantern also has two screws in the bottom, see pic, to hold the bulb/lantern housing in place. The green lantern has a dent in the top, see pic. The"hanging hooks" are a bit out of square as seen in the pictures. I have not found any cracks or holes in the brass housing that should not be there. Both lights have pull strings to turn lights on and off without unplugging. Both have old two prong style plugs. The oil lamp bases are original aside from the electrical retrofitting that took place. There is some soldering and repair work on bulb housing but it cant be seen unless yo

This listing is for a pair of Vintage Antique Perko Nautical Marine Ship Port and Starboard Oil Lamp Lanterns. Both lanterns are marked Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Perko Brooklyn. NY, USA. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock.
