It's approximately 14.25 inches tall(not including the swinging handle) and 6 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep Condition is as pictured! The interior light isn't working. Has original Patina or would look great polished! This Lamp I believe had a Kerosene lamp to light up the Glass lens and can be converted to today's electrical system. Unknown whether this is actual copper and/or brass or plated to appear to be copper/brass. Dusty and needs a polishing. Interior reflects usage by evidence of black soot throughout. ANTIQUE,NAUTICAL 'ANCHOR' LAMP, HAND MADE, WOOD, CAST IRON, WORKS!! LOOK!!
I was really excited to find this old lamp at an estate sale. I have no way of determining just exactly how old this is. But based on the electrical switch, and wiring, I would say it is definately antique. I have never seen anything like this before. The anchor is hand carved out of wood, and the the fixture is attached to a cast iron holder. There is a letter"K" on the switch for the lamp. It measures 11 1/2" tall, 9" wide, and 7" deep. There is a wire hanger thru the hole on the top of the anchor, to hang it on the wall. The most incredible thing about this old lamp is.IT WORKS! The wire is cracked from age, and could be replaced, but I couldn't bring myself to change this lamp in any way. A great collector's item. Fresh from an estate nautical collection is a RARE Antique Perko Brass Ship Lantern with brass tag that reads PERKO Manufacturer's Trademark Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp. Miami Florida USA" on the front and another Perko stamp on the back. Lantern originally sold at some point by Bourne's Hyannis Port Cape Cod Massachusetts. This brass navigation lamp is in excellent condition for its age. No breaks or cracks, some minor wear and scratches as to be expected on a Lamp this old, some soldering. The nautical lamp has a great brass case with glass panels, handle above the rounded chimney at the top, a reflector/mirror, kerosene well is removable for filling. Up for auction is an antique Eli Griffiths& Sons Ltd. ship's candle lantern. It has a market plate which reads Eli Griffiths& Sons Ltd. Bradford Street. Birmingham. This is a genuine old Ship's Nautical Lantern with five glass panels. It has not been cleaned and is in its original state. The patina is darker than shown in the pictures due to the camera's flash. It measures 17 1/2" to the top of the handle and is approximately 7 1/4" in diameter. It may have a ding here or there which only ads to its character, but it is in excellent condition for its age.

This is one of the most creative spotlights I've seen to date. Normally you see spotlights on tripods. But I created something that is outside the box! The Spotlight is easy to move around or could be used as a table lamp. Or floor lamp. The spotlight measures 10" in diameter, 19" height. and 12" at the widest point of wooden base. The caster wheels are vintage. The wooden base is an old vintage chopping block, and the spotlight came off an old 1940's truck. Vintage twisted cloth(not rayon) lamp cord measures 6' long. With an on/off rotary switch with vintage plug. Spotlight has beautiful patina, and age that adds unique character. The first thing we did was to remove all the paint and give the light a very nice polish job. From there we fitted all the original conduit holes with a threaded plug and drilled a new hole on the top of the light so the new wiring con exit the light and be completely hidden. We also added that cool looking copper deflector cover to improve the looks of the light when mounted to the ... moreceiling. All the old wiring was removed and all new wiring and a new bulb holder made by Westinghouse Electric has been installed. The wiring and bulb holder is UL-Listed and rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a common screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. When mounted to the ceiling. This light will extend down about 8 inches. To access the bulb area, you just spin off the cage, and then spin off the undamaged glass globe. The base of the light is about 4 1/2 inches wide and the two mount hole lugs are 5 inches on center of each other. This light weighs right at 6 pounds. Overview This listing is for a pair of amazing vintage brass ship lamps with plaques engraved"Star of India. The lamps have a front door that you can unclasp and swing right open when you need to change the bulbs. Behind the bulbs is a circular reflector to augment the light. The glass has rectangular lattice and beside the plaques are beautiful spiral reliefs. Operation These lamps run on electricity and you can view the innards in picture 7. The wires go through the hole in the back and connect right to the wall. The lamps switch on and off via a spinning dial on the bottom right. Dimensions and Condition The actual lamps measure 11.5 inches tall. 8.5 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. The stacks on the top add another 5 inches in height. I would say that they are roughly 7 lbs. each. They are in very fine condition. The only flaw is ... moreone small chip in the glass on the bottom of one of the side panels, but this is virtually invisible during display. History I am dubious as to whether these actually came off the Star of India ship. But these are nautical lamps and were probably for maritime use at one point or another. This listing is for one bow light with green and red glass lenses in excellent original condition. To show how the light would look lit up. I took out the original bulb assembly and placed the housing over a Christmas bulb(not included. The original light bulb is a Mazda 6-8 volt. The socket is in working condition, just insert the two wires into the holes and tighten the set screws. The chrome finish is shiny with a few light scratches and overall looks new. The screws that hold the glass in are all original and all there. The original stainless steel mounting screws, washers and nuts are included. The glass says K S 900. It measures 6" front to back, 3 1/2" tall and 4" wide at the base. I do not know what kind of boat this came from, possibly Chris Craft? I am selling a unique working vintage brass nautical passage light with red glass. It measures 15" from the top of the brass hook to the bottom brass hook and 4 1/2" wide. It has a 15 ft cord and slightly shorter chain. The chain links are separated near the top- see photo and wrapped around the cord near the bottom- could be reattached with pliers. OLD Antique PORT SIDE Red Marine Nautical Maritime Lantern Lamp Inside bulb auth
This is an authentic original nautical/maritime portside glass lamp enclosure that many years ago was fashioned into a simply put. Fantastic lamp. There is a socket on the inside that illuminates the red glass and I must say that it looks incredible lit up. Obviously there is a socket at the top as well that will require the lamp shade of your choosing to complete the piece. I chose not to clean and scrub the piece so as to depict the age and authenticity more clearly. This is absolutely not a reproduction. I believe this starboard red lamp enclosure sat atop a piling somewhere in some waterway for who knows how many years. This lamp has been in storage for several decades and I am sad to have to part with it. This piece will make a stellar addition to any shore house or den or even office space. Original Nautical Brass Cargo Light - Reclaimed as a ceiling light and rewired
Google the name"big ship salvage" and you will learn more about who we are! You are bidding on the reclaimed brass nautical cargo light shown above. We have several matched pieces! This light measure about 28 inches tall and weighs about 12 pounds. The wide end with the glass measures 13 1/2 inches wide with the glass being right at 12 inches wide. The top mounting pipe we have installed is 8 inches long. The connecting pipe and ceiling mount we have added to this light are iron. And painted with a color that is very close to a brass look. The connecting pipe is common 1/2 threaded pipe you buy at most hardware stores, so you can change the distance between the ceiling and the light by changing the pipe. The ceiling mount is 3 inches wide with four mount holes. This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts made by Westinghouse ... moreElectric. Our newly installed lighting hardware is rated for any voltage under 250 volts, so normal house power is not an issue. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb with a wattage of less than 150 watts. Since the inside housing has very little space restrictions, you can even use the newer compact fluorescent bulbs, or a spot light with a common screw in base. Our wiring exits the center hole of the ceiling mount and we provide about 12 inches of extra wiring. The 6 wing nuts that hold the glass and brass ring on the bottom side all work freely, and we have installed new glass. The original conduit hole has been closed using a copper cap. All the new wiring exits the lights from the center of the ceiling mount, so no exposed wiring. This original reclaims ship's cargo light is ready to install right out of the shipping box! Great industrial style Nautical light with a beautiful patina. Old gray ship paint was removed with chemical stripper. Rather than sand blasting and exposing a new shiny brass surface. Rubber gaskets replaced the originals but may need to be replaced with more heat resistant ones. Overall it measures approx. 9 1/2" long. New 14 gauge wire is connected to the socket. Also on the top grill one spot has damage(see close-up) 8.5" tall with handle down. 2.25" extra with handle up. Heavy Old Nautical Wall Mounted Brass Kerosene Lamp
Very heavy– especially the base– old brass kerosene lamp. 8 ½” tall, 3 ½” across the base. It will stand alone, but is fitted with substantial pegs high on two sides that fit into angled slots of a wall-mounted bracket, and would presumably remain upright in an ocean swell. How far it would swing would of course depend on the height of the chimney. The wick is clean; the mechanism works smoothly; the dome at the top is signed with a‘T’ over‘M’ The surface has darkened fairly uniformly. Very good condition. There are a couple of dents, fortunately, given the dark color of the surface, not very visible. The more obvious one is a linear 1” dimple. No cracks, corrosion, scratches, or repair. The bracket is strong, and it’s fine. An item may be returned if it is substantially different from how I have described it. I will pay return ... morepostage. An original solid brass oil lantern made by BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM 1940 Embossed on the chimney of the lantern. F ully functional. Heavy gauge brass lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead. Cabin/wardroom lamp. Stands 16" high. 20" high with the handle upright, 8 1/2" wide x 6" deep. The unit has a three sided glass face. With a right side access door. The burner is made to come out to fill. It also has a key that the wick can be put up or down without opening the door. The chimney also opens up the top section for cleaning or service.
