You are bidding on the two vintage cast brass Ship's nautical passageway wall sconce lights shown in the above photos. These lights measure about 9 1/2 inches tall and not counting the wall mount they are about 4 inches wide. When mounted to the wall. They will extend out from the wall by about 7 inches. The wall mount has two mount holes and will require a mounting surface that is about 3 inches wide and about 1/2 inches tall. Originally the power source for these lights came ... morefrom two conduits that connected into the back side of the light. We installed two copper caps in the original conduit holes and added the 90 degree elbow and short brass pipe on the top. The elbow and the brass pipe we added allows all the wiring to be 100% hidden from sight. You can install a plate cover over your existing junction box and drill a hole that will allow the conduit pipe to enter your junction box. Next step is to screw the light to your cover plate and you are done. Also, the new pipe we installed can be cut flush with the wall mount, and the light can be installed right to the wall with no junction box. If you want the pipe cut, just tell us and will cut it flush before the lights are shipped. The globes are glass and in good condition. Each light weighs almost 3/12 pounds. You can access the bulb area by unscrewing the cage and then unscrewing the glass globe. The glass is undamaged, but could use some additional cleaning. The cage and the glass globe drops right out. This is a very nice looking Nautical Tea Light/ Candle Holder Made by E.S. Sorensen. It is Hand Polished Lacquered Brass. It measures 3 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" diameter. The tag reads: E.S. Sorensen. Kobenhavn, Danmark, 8918" These pieces are all numbered. There is a tiny dent on the top edge(Shown in the second photo) The top edge is slightly irregular. I believe that is manufactured that way. Antique Perko Stern Lantern w/ Red Lens, vintage boat lamp, Nautical
Antique PERKO lantern. The screw-on cap looks to be brass and the rest of it appears to be galvanized. The red plastic lens has a piece broken off it in the upper corner. There is a bulb inside but the filament looks broken so it would have to be replaced when the wiring is fixed. There is a large dent in the back of the lamp. I think it could be pressed in an arbor press to look a lot better. There's some rust. Some dirt, some paint and that's how things go on ships. Vintage lantern would great in your collection. But you cannot"feel" it by touch) on the actually tiny hurricane glass piece surrounding the lamp piece itself. Residue left on the top"latch" of the piece from previous burning. Beautiful survivor Large Antique Search Light Nautical Industrial Light
True survivor here with this awesome antique large search light that I rescued from a basement. I cannot find any makers mark on it. The heavy thick glass is embossed with TOP SPREDLITE TM REG US PAT OFF. The glass lense is apprx 15" and is all good free from any breaks or cracks. As is the complete unit. Comes with a bulb and the inside reflector looks great. The handles are stamped with numbers. This beauty stands apprx 25 1/2" tall to the top of the hinges. Apprx 23" wide from outside handle to the other handle. All original down to the wire. However the wire has been cut and will need to be rewired. Not sure if it still works but I see no reason why it wouldn't after being rewired. Has an awesome look& patina to it with the cast metal bracket ring and it's 3 hole foot base& handles. Antique "Viking" Ship Nautical Maritime Oil Lamp Kerosene Lantern
Vintage Viking Kerosene anchor light. Not sure of the age but not antique. I see other Viking brand lanterns listed as true antiques but I don't believe they are or that this one is. Everything works. It stands 15" tall. 6 1/2" deep and 6 1/2" wide. The glass is all in good condition. No dents, breaks or flaws that I can see. The material seems to be all brass except the rolled edges and corners are brass rolled over a steel rod. This lantern is dirty and needs cleaning but i will leave that up to the purchaser, I am selling as found. This will make a beautiful display or actually use it! Measures approx. 8-3/4" high to top of cap and 10-1/2" to top of ring. Made entirely of brass and signed on the back"M'F'R'D. BY NATIONAL MARINE LAMP CO. NEW YORK. Wick adjustment knob is signed"P.A. MFG. CO. WATERBURY, CONN. MADE IN U.S.A. Lamp is all original and complete, wick still adjusts up and down freely. However, there are two old solder repairs to the two burner spring clips, and at some point someone cut a crude hole in the bottom hinged cover plate for an electric wire. Glass lenses appear to be the originals and are in good condition with NO cracks or chips. Still in very nice overall condition, just needs cleaning and polishing-if desired. This is one of the most creative spotlights I've seen to date. Normally you see spotlights on tripods. But I created something that is outside the box! The Spotlight is easy to move around or could be used as a table lamp. Or floor lamp. The spotlight measures 10" in diameter, 19" height. and 12" at the widest point of wooden base. The caster wheels are vintage. The wooden base is an old vintage chopping block, and the spotlight came off an old 1940's truck. Vintage twisted cloth(not rayon) lamp cord measures 6' long. With an on/off rotary switch with vintage plug. Spotlight has beautiful patina, and age that adds unique character. A pair of port and starboard kerosene ships running lights. I call them"old" since I suspect my brother bought them in a foreign country many years ago when he was in the merchant marine. I hesitate to call them"authentic" since they have plates on them which state: Port. Starboard. I don't think real sailors need to be reminded what the red and green lenses denote. They are constructed of copper/brass/bronze, appear to be plastic green/red lenses, approximately 12.5 inches high, 7.5 inches across. Also, BOAT SIGNAL” in a very large font) is stamped just above hinged door. This lantern features two adjustable handles, belt clip, 3” round clear bullseye lens, and a rotating shutter. Vintage Port RED Nautical Nagivation Channel Light Andrew Co. Chicago TYPE 660
Fresh out of a local estate is this wonderful Port Nautical Navigational Light. Truly a work of art and VINTAGE. According to the previous owner it came from Vero Beach. FL(but I can't prove that) Made in the US by Andrew Co. Chicago and appears to be 50+ years old. I was not able to find anything about the maker so no real way of dating it. Perfect for a Man Cave/Restaurant or your own channel marker. As you can see by the pictures there is a chunk of glass out of the top(clear part) but turned around you can't tell that. The red glass lamp in the inside is in perfect condition. The clear glass is in the design of light house glass so that it reflects. This is truly a piece of history and a great collectible for the nautical collector. It measures 33" tall and 15" across at the base. Weighs over 50# This was never an oil ... morelamp. Here is a great vintage Perko port side ship lantern. It has a couple of dings and dents but still shows well. It also has a small chip in red lens at the top. The lantern is painted but made from galvanized steel and the top cover looks like brass. There is a large bulb inside not sure if it is any good. Please see pictures for further description. Antique Ship light Copper Glass has no cracks Copper does have dents due to age and use. I've had it displayed in the corner of my kitchen for years and years. THIS IS AN ANTIQUE NAUTICAL MARINE SHIP LANTERN WITHOUT THE LAMP. THERE IS A BRASS LABEL MARKED"STARBOARD" ON THE FRONT. THE LANTERN MEASURES 11 1/2" HIGH AND 6" WIDE. THE LANTERN GOES INTO A CORNER. THE TWO TIER TOP IS BRASS BUT THE REST OF THE LANTERN IS A METAL. THERE IS SOME SURFACE RUST ON THE FRAME AROUND THE GLASS. THERE IS A LATCH ON THE OPENING DOOR THAT CONNECTS WITH TWO OTHER SMALL LOOPS THAT A PIN GOES INTO TO LATCH THE DOOR. THE PIN IS MISSING. For sale is this early lamp. It looks like a ships lamp. But most were made of brass or copper. This one is tin or and steel. It has a convex lens that shines a spotlight beam. This globe is marked Perko No. 1 as well. On the top cover it is marked"PERKO" and"bow" with an arrow, and on the bottom it is marked perko, along with the number 1169-74-8.
