Old Copper Nautical "Masthead" Light - Electric Wired Hall Light???
This auction is for a copper. Electric wired nautical light marked"Masthead" on the top. It fits flush to the wall from a bracket. The bracket is missing, but it can be purchased at any hardware store. The height of this light is 4 inches. The metal is copper, but there also may be brass and tin. It has an old patina which I did not try to polish. There are remnants of white paint that I also did not try to remove. The back door swings open for easy access to the inside. I think the glass is actually plexiglass. It has been rewired and has a new 15W bulb. It works. I left the wire bare because I think this is a hall light. I know absolutely nothing about this little treasure, but it appears to be old and authentic. Vtg Copper Sealine Sea Line Hanging Ship Nautical Fresnel Type Lens Oil Lantern
This is the classic solid copper anchor lamp used on sailing ships for hundreds of years. The lamp is hand machined in pure heavy-gauge copper with brass trim. Comes with burner and a bit of wick. The Fresnel style lens is made to magnify the oil lamp light to be visible for 20 nautical miles. The Anchor lamp is named for it's use. A 360 o white light is required to be displayed at the highest point(the tallest mast) on all vessels at anchor or under way at night. These oil burning lanterns were made to be lit. Hoisted to the top of the mast with one rope tied to the handle and a 2nd rope tied to the bottom bail to keep it from swaying as the ship rolls with the sea. A very nice lamp. Ready to use. This lamp measures approx. 10" high x 5" wide.

Antique Wooden Nautical TV Lamp Night Light Lighthouse Ash Tray Oriental Flair
This is a VERY COOL old lamp. It was found at a local estate sale in which the family had no desire to go through the decades and decades of possessions. The family opened the house to customers who were allowed to dig through the house as it sat. We found this in the back of a crawl space attic in a very old box. This is made of a stunning wood with a rich golden tone& a tight. Dark grain. It measures 10 3/4" long, 10 1/2" tall and 3 1/4" wide. It is a lighthouse with aluminum ashtray. The lighthouse is a light. The screws on this item are flat head. knob on the side is an on/off switch. It has a strange electrical plug.Japanese maybe? The light socket is slightly bigger than ... morea standard night light. The only markings are a tag on the bottom of ashtray(see last pic) It is in very good condition. There is nothing wrong with the ashtray. The white mark is due to the camera flash. It does have some light wear to the finish on wood(near ashtray) We were unable to test it due to the unusual electrical cord. It is a very fun and unusual item. Antique whale oil lamp lantern light onion globe silver plated BIG nautical
This incredible light is from an old Wellesley MA estate. It stands about 20" tall to the top of the fixed ring on the top of the heat cage. The globe is around 10" in diameter. The metal surfaces are silver plated and in need of polishing. The base has some denting as shown. The font is original but the burner is missing. The light was electrified at some point but it would be easy enough to remove those parts. A very rare light. Thanks for looking.

F H LOVELL& CO.Antique Brass Nautical Ships Lantern late 1800's lamp. This lantern looks great! The glass is thick and very old. There are no flaws.Chips or cracks in the glass. I was going to electrify this lantern but it would not go with any of our other decor.Just a couple of slight dents in the brass from use. Right now there is no means by which to light this lantern. I dropped in a light bulb to show off the color of the glass when illuminated. This is a great piece of history. F H Lovell started around the civil war era. It made marine lanterns primarily. By the early 1920's the name was changed because the company merged with a railroad lantern company so this lantern was most likely manufactured around 1880. The lantern is 10 inches tall(14 inches tall with handle) and the width is 9 inches in diameter.

Swivels fine-with a sturdy swivel handle in the back. Has a lever on the right and bottom to lock in place. Also has original mounting plate that is triangular in shape. Moves right-left and up-down fine. Nearly 15inches tall-light case is over 8inches in diameter and total width is 10inches. Weight=9lbs. Each light is made of all cast brass and stamped copper. They measure just over 19 inches tall. The widest end with the clear glass is about 9 3/4 inches wide with the clear glass being about 7 3/4 inches wide. The ceiling mount plate is 5 3/4 inches wide with four mount holes. Each of these lights weighs just over 8 pounds. The brass connecting rod is about 12 inches long. Vintage ship light in galvanized metal with green lens. The light is in overall good condition- it has more rust stains than rust. I wiped it down but it is dirty. Especially on the inside. The mirrors on the inside are intact, but dirty. See photo#7. The lens is thick plastic- it has a small chip at the top left(photo#11) To the right of the chip looks like a crack but I couldn't find any fracture. This is a true barn find. Large 33" tall 15"wide and 8" deep Nautical ship barometer desk lamp. The ships wheel turns. The lantern on the right also lights up. Made in England this is an extremely rare find. Selling as found with all original dust. Did not put bulbs in and test but seems simple enough for buyer to add. Do not have the original shade but does have the fennel on top to mount one. The photos are the best description. Bulpitt& Sons Solid Brass Nautical Maritime Ship Oil Lantern all original BULPITT& SONS BIRMINGHAM Is embossed on the chimney of the lantern. But barely legible due to a light stamp. The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. PA Model B-30 US Pat. 27077417 Can. Pat. 522093 In looking up the US Patent it appears this is a J.J. DE FREES Sealing Means for Lamp Housing Closure. Filed Sept. 7, 1951 There is a brass item(widest round in photo) stamped"PILOT HOUSE CHART ROOM" It has a lid with a handle. When lid is opened it is hollow. Dimensions: 5" wide x 3" tall(not including handle) The lid handle is approx 2 1/2" long. Offered for sale is a vintage nautical navigation light. It has an internal. And removable ABCO oil lamp. I believe that it is made from copper and solder-joined. The only markings on it are on the oil lamp adjuster. ABCO 1) The chimney has a swivel top to allow access to the lamp globe. Antique Marine Nautical * Tin Oil Lantern * Lamp * Very Good!
Antique Nautical Marine Oil Lantern to start a new paragraph use- This is a great example of an antique marine oil lantern. It's one of the best ones I've seen. The main body ~ top/bottom is free of dents. The hanger and tie downs are intact. The wires or cage is there and in good condition. The glass is free of chips on the outside, has some of the little flea bite size around the rim on the bottom inside like they all do. And the bottom oil lamp part is there, the hinge works and it stays closed when you hold it up. I don't see a mark on the glass, but this looks like a Perkins lantern. At one time had a finish on it ~ I have left this, it does chip off if you care to totally remove it and just have that old zinc/tin look, but right now it has great patina! It has brass feet, a turned oak wood base, 3 turned brass rings and next is an oak turning which houses a built in dimmer switch. Included with the lamp is an Edison bulb which is enclosed in a brass cage, The lamp is topped with a beautiful cast eagle. With the exception of the cast eagle, dimmer switch and Edison bulb, all the components are hand made by the artist. The cord is cloth covered and new. It is signed by the artist. Rare American Pair of Nautical Wm. Porter's Sons Lamps, c.1860
You are bidding on a matched pair of galvanized nautical running lamps manufactured by Wm. Porter's Sons. 271 Pearl St. NY c. 1860. These lamps are very well preserved. Original curved lens glass is perfect with no chips nor cracks and are framed in hand soldered copper. The interior floor has cleats to hold oil lamps(no longer with lanterns) All hinges and fasteners are hand soldered copper. Are intact and in perfect working order. The lamps' chimney caps are brass and include top rings that are usually missing on lamps of this era. It is rare that lamps c.1860 survive as a pair and in this collectible condition. Lamps measure approx. 14" high to top of ring and approx. 9" wide. Corner to corner.
