Vtg Antique Ship Nautical Passageway Brass Wall Lantern Beveled Glass w Burner
From an estate sale is an Antique Vtg Brass Wall Oil or Kerosene Lantern. It measures 13" long and the beveled glass windows measure 4" x 3" All windows are free of cracks or damage. There is some surface rust on the inside but no corrosion to the metal to cause holes or damage so it could be cleaned if needed. The very top of the lantern has been soldered(see photos) but it doesn't affect the workings of the lantern. The bracket has two holes for mounting the lantern on the wall.very cool item for the nautical buff or collector. this lot contains a Vintage Brass PERKO Marine Nautical ship RED pole Lantern Early 1900s. it has been modified to electric a long time ago. It was wired for ship use as it has a ground wire as well? it has a very thick red glass with a few chips& cracks from use& age. nothing that compromises it's usage or condition. it weighs 11 pounds& is 10" x 6" the light itself has been tested& works. it has not been cleaned or polished by us, although it looks like someone took scouring pad or steel wool to some areas, none of which has caused any permanent or bad damage, but you can see these areas in pictures. the one crack we found is only on the inside of glass& can only be seen when held up to light& spun til found. Carbon build-up is still present on the inner cap and on the underside of the included snuffer. he lantern measures approx. 14.5" Tall by 8" Wide and weighs approx. 6 lbs. The glass globe is clear and very thick. It was converted to electric light at one point as evident by the electrical wire holes on the bottom and the switch hole on the backside. There is no electric work in it currently. The lantern is in very good condition with some tarnishing on the brass and some patina on the bottom rim and bottom as shown in pics. I PURCHASED THIS MANY YEARS AGO AND IT HAD ABOUT 10 COATS OF BLACK PAINT ON IT. I TOOK IT TO A PROFESSIONAL AND HAD IT CLEANED AND IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL BRASS. THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO SO IT HAS DULLED OVER THE YEARS BUT WOULD CLEAN BEAUTIFUL AGAIN. IT IS IN REALLY NICE CONDITION. NO GLASS CRACKS OR CHIPS. SOMEONE DID DRILL A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM, I SUPPOSE TO TRY AND MAKE A LAMP. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES OR DENTS AND HAS NOT BEEN WELDED OR ANY OTHER REPAIR MADE TO IT. Vintage Benjamin light. Most likely from a submarine engine room. This light features a heavy brass junction box(4 1/2" attached below the main light. Also comes with 2 fixing tabs for attaching to wall or ceiling. The original socket lampholder& switch(Bryant BECO F-8428) in very good condition. This light also comes with an on/off switch, something you rarely see with these type of lights. Overall 9 inches tall. I've rewired this for a typical lamp plug(8ft) One of the few references I can find for this light/socket is from the San Francisco Maritime Park Association where they are doing a restoration of the World War II Balao class Fleet submarine USS Pampanito(SS-383)

This is a very nice set of antique Tung Woo ship lanterns. They have some general wear(tarnish/scuffs/scratches) But look very good for their age. They have"Tung Woo Hong Kong" stamped into the front with a flying horse. They are 7" tall, and 5" wide. They both have wicks inside. One wick is black, and one is white(unused? I don't see any obvious damage to these, and the glass is brightly colored with no cracks. I don't know too much about these, so if you have any specific questions, let me know. I am happy to help. And 11.5" tall excuding the wire handle. Cage and lantern are very straight with only a small amount of oxidation, and everthing appears to be in good useable shape. There is a chip on the bottom edge of the globe with pieces on each side of it glued back onto it. Even so A classic that's sure to be a great addition to any collection. Vintage Chrome Ship Boating Bow Stern Green Red Warning Light Nautical Maritime
Up for auction is a vintage boating warning light recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition. I am unable to test this to see if it is operational or not, but certainly could be made to work. This light has a tear drop shape and would be mounted in the bow to determine port or starboard sides. It is consistent with 1950-60's era boats. This light would be great for reuse or as a nautical decorative accessory. There is pitting and paint on the chrome surface, as seen in the photos. The lens appears to be plastic. It has a nice deco appearance. I cannot find any markings or numbers. This light measures approximately 3 7/8" x 6 1/4" x 3 14" in size. A nice maritime piece. Unlike some of the modern reproduction lights you see on the market. This ceiling mounted passageway light is made of just over 7 pounds of cast brass material. We have taken this original light and added the 8 inch brass deflector cover and covered the original conduit holes on the side with threaded brass plugs. Freshly polished and rewired, this light is ready to hang as soon as you unpack it from our shipping ... morebox. The new wiring will work with any voltage under 250 volts. When mounted to the ceiling, this light will extend down by about 7 inches. To access the bulb, you spin off the brass cage and the glass globe spins off. Three heavy outer guards to protect the thick glass Fresnel lens and a bezel type removable lid. The original interior light fixture remains and is still functional or can be easily replaced. Here is a vintage/antique? ANKERLIGHT copper nautical lantern. This is electric and it does work. The rubber seals inside have long since rotted away. Some of the copper is turning green. I imagine when this was new it was bright and shiny copper. The glass is in good condition. The lantern is approx. 15" tall. The bottom is 2 halves of plexiglass. Top is missing lid/cover. No burner. Someone drilled a small hole in the bottom/back and also cut and bent a small section inside at the bottom in an effort to convert to electricity(see last 2 pics) 19.5" tall not including handles.
