Ankerlicht Dutch Nautical Ship Lantern
Copper or Brass Ship Lantern. Wired for an electric bulb and with a wall mount bracket. The overall height from the base to the top acorn nut is about 14.5 inches. The depth from front to back is about 9.5 inches and the diameter is 7 inches. The metal surface has patina from age. The fresnel glass globe is intact and has a nice lavender hue.

This candle, black out lantern is extremely rare, and almost never found for sale. It is from the late 1800's and is complete with it's original heavy glass globe, which is in perfect condition, showing no cracks or chips. The lantern likewise shows no signs of rust or cracks. This lantern would polish up easily and make a stunning show piece! It is 14" tall with out the top and bottom bales being extended. It is 9.5" across and weighs 17 pounds. In original found condition.Do not want to clean improperly Lamp/lantern measures 13-1/2" tall. Vintage Nautical Weighted Oil Lamp, Gimbal-Mount Brass Boat Lantern w/ Chimney
Antique Brass Ship's Oil Lantern. Looks like it was never used. Very nice condition; only one small dent in the wick assembly. And that can probably be pushed back from behind the guard very easily. There is no maker's mark or logo on the lamp. But there is an"RV" and an anchor on the wick turn knob. The glass chimney appears to be original to the lamp. Dimensions: 12 7/8" overall. 5 3/4" from back of mounting plate for the gimbal to the outside of the lamp. Chimney measures 6 7/8" in height and is 3 1/4" in diameter, the lamp body measures 7 1/2" tall and is 3 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/4" total width including the gimbal mounting pins that project 3/8" from either side of the lamp body. Antique Brass kerosene Ships lantern R C Murray Glascow Nautical Marine
This auction is for an antique ships lantern with a makers label that reads R C Murray limited 37 Cavendish SI Glasgow. Which is in Scotland. This was a working lantern and has seen some use. It has been lovingly repaired and shows some tarnish. I have tried to show all this in the pictures. I have not attempted to clean it or change the batina. It stands 18" tall. It is missing one pane of glass which could be easily replaced. This is a very unique and collectible nautical item, very rare to find in this good condition because these lanterns were used at sea and exposed to salt conditions over long periods of time.

Offered with no reserve. A rare Perkins Marine Lamp. This is made by the Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Company of Brooklyn New York. Has a small brass ID tag just under the toggle switch. See picture#3. The lamp stands 15" tall and is 7" in diameter at the base. Copper construction. Features 2 tie down hooks at the base. Also has hook on the top cover. There are several metal"arms" that protect the globe. One of these is missing the top screw. See second to last picture. This is a dry cell battery operated lamp. Vintage Copper PERKO Nautical Ship Lantern Electrical Marine Light Gulf Oil
This 16 1/4" tall electric lantern with an all original patina and toggle switch is from the estate of Howard Craven. He was a ship captain for the Gulf Oil Company until he retired in the early 1950's. When he then took up painting ships with oil on canvas. His father was also a ship captain, so I'm not sure which one used this lantern. It is all copper than I can see. It would be beautiful polished up, but I chose to leave it as is for those of you that would prefer it in it's original condition. Vintage Marine Ship Navigation Light Nautical Maritime Lantern Clear Boat WW II
My husband is organizing his shop and parting with quite a few items. Here is one of those items and his description of it: Maybe a good Christmas gift for the nautical collector in your life? Vintage marine ship’s iron navigation light. 180 degree clear glass Fresnel lens Navy? WWII? I picked this up at an estate sale and planned to use it as yard lighting. Turned out it did not fit the landscape plan. This is a large ships navigation light. Either for the stern(showing white two points abaft of the beam, starboard and port) or masthead light(forward, showing two points abaft of beam, both starboard and port) This shows a bit of light surface rust in spots. The result of years at sea. There is no internal mounting or wiring for a bulb, but that could be easily designed and installed. The gasket around the hinged lid is missing, but could ... morebe replaced with some type of weather-stripping. There are two small chips in the Fresnel lens, as shown in the photo. These should not affect the durability of the lens. You can see the imperfections in the lens from the glass casting process, as sign of its age. This stands 11 ½ inches tall. 8 inches in diameter(across) 9 inches across the top latch and hinge. The Fresnel lens is full width and 7 inches high. The base is round with“bayonet” mounting slots and is 5 ¾ inches outside and 5 3/16 inch inside diameter. The lid is held closed by a hinge on one side and thumb bolt on the other. The lid swings open freely. This is how I found it, I only cleaned the lens to confirm no other damage. I put a light inside it to show what it looks like illuminated for the pictures. The light does not come with this piece of marine hardware. As many ships navigation lights are made of brass or bronze. I can’t help to wonder if this was from a WWII ship, a time when these metals were in short supply and needed for munitions manufacture for the war effort. This is painted mist gray, a standard US Navy color, but cannot find any markings to prove this. In fact, the only markings I can

Estate Find. This very large maritime lantern converted to a lamp. In full working order. Use light in lantern or light on top or both. Not sure of the metal. This lantern is mounted on a solid wood base and comes with original paper shade that is covered with a nautical collage theme. Think it was wall paper glued to shade. Does need some regluing. Shade is 15" x 15"Lantern has clear glass encased in thick metal wire. Has on off switch on top. Lantern is approx. 16" with base not including dowel that holds light bulb and shade. An antique dealer informed me that based on the design. Quality, and materials used, it was likely built in the 1940’s by the prolific Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corp based in Brooklyn. It measures 7½” tall(with the bale down) x 7” wide x 6” deep and weighs 3 pounds. The brass has been polished and clear coated. While the galvanized tin has been painted dark green and antiqued. Included are the original electric lighting fixture and oil font. The Perko Company information is engraved or embossed in the face of the brass burner adjusting knob. The green(turned blue) ribbed door glass lens appears to be original and in near perfect condition. Perko’s trade mark tag ... moreis still affixed to the mounting bracket and is legible. Someone has spent a lot of time and effort refurbishing this nautical artifact. Which makes it an exceptional piece of U.S. Maritime history. Large Antique Nautical Lantern Vintage 5-way Green Ship Lamp Port& Starboard Used- Antique Nautical Lantern This lantern has some discoloration around glass and on seams. Pictures reflect a bent spot along one of the upper seams. Approximate size is 14.5" tall including carry handle by 9" wide. This lantern has NOT been converted to an electrical light. I have included the lighted pictures so you can see the brilliance of the green glass. Glass does not have any cracks or major scratches in them. The glass does not have any marks in the glass, other than what appears to be consistent with how glass was made during that time. I do not know the exact age of this lantern. However it is the only one I have seen with 5 semi-globe sections. I was going to convert this Kerosene/oil lamp into a lighted lamp and clean it up for my nautical ... morethemed room, but never got around to it. I now am moving and liquidating some of my stuff. I did pay quit a bit for this lamp due to its unusualness and size, however I am willing to take any reasonable offers. This would be a great old kerosene o conversion lantern to put in a parlor, back porch, sitting room or make great lighting for movie night. I prefer the green over your normal red port lights because it is a little softer and not as aggressive in nature depending on your usage or if you decide to use it for a child's night lantern for sleeping. RARE Perkins Yankee Engineers Brass Nautical Dead Flame Oil Lantern& Globe NR NO RESERVE! Fresh from a Coastal Maine attic. We are pleased to offer this RARE.ORIGINAL& SMALL circa 1920 PERKINS"YANKEE ENGINEERS" brass nautical kerosene lantern. These"DEAD FLAME" lanterns are known as being made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORPORATION of New York. These lanterns were made between the years 1916 and 1930. The"YANKEE ENGINEERS" model was sold either in a galvanized steel or a brass frame. The option of marked Perkins colored globe was also available. This lantern is made of brass and is unmarked. Other than its threaded burner, which is marked DIETZ/ CONVEX. The lantern's top and base are hinged and the unmarked clear globe measures 4 1/4' tall by 2 1/2' in diameter. Overall the lantern measures ... more8' tall(not including the bailed handle) with 4' base diameter. CONDITION: The lantern is 100% ORIGINAL as is the globe! The top hinge to the brass frame is loose and needs to need re-attached. There is also the expected roughage to the globe's ground lips. When closed it still displays beautifully.
