This is a very rare lantern I have never seen another one like ... moreit listed on Ebay. The lamp is in excellent condition as evident by the photos. It has a very nice patina on the outside and looks great as is. Or can easily be polished for a brilliant shine. The lamp has a wooden handle, and on the left side of the lamp is a thumb toggle switch that opens and closes an aperture behind the lens that allows the light to have the appearance of turning on and off. I'm no expert, but I believe the lamp was designed for semaphore which is a method of using light to visually communicate with another ship, or from ship to shore, and vice a versa. The toggle switch works smoothly, and the door opens and closes freely. Please closely review all of the photos for the material condition of the lamp. The lamp has the original oil/kerosene pot, but it is missing the glass chimney and possibly a reflector that may have fit in the small rectangular slot at the end of the pot. A replacement glass chimney can be easily found online. The lantern measures approximately 20" inches from the top of the handle to the base, and it is approximately 10 1/2" inches wide. If you are a serious collector you do not want to miss the opportunity to own this lantern you may never see another one like it on Ebay. A rare vintage nautical barometer lamp with a ship in the bottle and an antique copper starboard oil lamp with a blue glass lens. The barometer is a Carrington. Which was made in England, and is in working order. The antique copper starboard oil lamp is a Tung Woo, and is in excellent condition for its age. The 3 way light switch controls both the lamp and lantern, so one can light both lamps or just one of them. The vintage ship in the bottle has a chain attached to the cork, which is anchored to a brass post on the base of the lamp. The base of this lamp is bordered with fisherman's rope, as is the barometer. The wood on this vintage lamp may have some scuff marks from its long journeys, but appears in great condition for its age. The lamp stands 30” in height, 20” in width, and 10” in depth. Large Ship Lantern Lamp Port Red Vintage Nautical Boat Double Curved Glass
Gorgeous Port Light Lantern. Lantern measures approx. 10 inches tall(not counting the pail 3.5" type handle) by 7 inches wide by 6 inches deep. I have sold a half dozen nautical lamps and this is by far the fairest of them all.inside 7 out. It has a beautiful patina. Only one very small dent, no scratching or chips. There are two layers of curved glass.the exterior glass(Barcelona Glass) is clear and a red internal curved piece. Both pieces excellent.no chips or cracks There is an opening. Surrounded by a rubber gasket, going into the lamp. Not sure what it is for, maybe a lead light. I placed a small light in the body to show what this lamp can look like. Could be electrified quite easily with the hole already there. Great looking lamp. Would look great all lit up out on a boat dock. By the pool or on a patio. Could be hung, attached ... moreto a wall bracket or just set on a shelf. Excellent Condition. There is some type of mounting bracket on backside. The lid is also very tight with solid hinges. I gently eased the top off with a screwdriver to open. You must remove the screw all the way to open.it slides into a hole as shown in pictures. There are 4 little feet on bottom with holes for air circulation. Would appreciate any info you might have as to maker as there is no hallmark on the lamp. Believe it's early 1900's. You will love this lamp.satisfaction guaranteed. I am also hoping to pick up it's starboard mate. The owner was reluctant to part with one lamp let alone both. I understand why!

Weathered and has some rust and oxidizing on the lantern. The top hanging part is loose as screws not secure in the back of it. I believe it is copper and or brass. I do not see any name on the lantern. There are no dents on the lantern. Front screw opening. The front has the word PORT. The light is heavy red glass. Not plastic. There is no interior piece that lights the lantern. The glass has come loose and the metal frame has separated in the corner but all of this can be fixed. Could use a cleaning/polishing. For its age. It is in very good condition. HUGE 19" KILBORN SAUER CO. Nautical Ship navigation Light Lantern Antique
This is a HUGE antique ship navigation light. I have never seen one this large. It weighs over 17 lbs and measures 24"including the handle. The bottom plate is missing. The globe is red and is stamped and made by Perko so I think just the glass was made by them. Im not sure if this has the original wiring or if it was rewired for personal use there is a light bulb inside that hangs from the top. The bulb and wires can be easily removed.

Large Antique Vintage Ships Lantern Light Brass Electrified Nautical Marine Lamp
Hi. Up for sale is a vintage brass ship light that has been converted to a lamp. It looks great but has some wear and issues. It has some rust around the seams. There are a couple small chips in the glass. The glass globe is upside down. There is a screw missing off the back. There is no lamp shade. The lamp shade holder is loose. The dimensions(without the lamp extension) are about 16" to the top of the handle. It is about 10.5" deep and 10.5" wide.

Very unique Antique nautical metal lantern. The lantern has 8 glass sides. 3 lights(electric candles) The Antique lantern also has 8 knobs as feet. With a wooden handle. The wood and lantern is a little worn, nothing you would not expect from a antique. It also has a mounted arch. Needs to be rewired. Maybe the lantern was originally gas. But not 100% sure. Comes with 7 1/2" feet of chain. I think it was used on a Old Cruise Ship as a swag. You can take the chain off and just use on a table. After it was rewired. Measures 20 1/2" tall 6 3/4"wide.

This is an old lantern. I do not know where it was used. It has old paint and surface rust. It is about 5“ wide and 6” deep. With the handle up it is about 14” The top cap is 3 ½” in diameter. The side has a slide plate for inside access. There is a small glass window on the back. The front flat glass is 5“ in diameter. It has some deposits on the inside. I do not know if it needs a kerosene holder or work with a candle. Neither are included. It is for display and non-operating. As always since 2001. Each weighs 3 1/4 pounds, counting the gimbals ~ height is 8 1/4" ~ width at widest point is 3 1/2" Please view my photo's. As they are part of my description. These unrestored lamps are in nice condition. I have not polished them. No dents or dings. Wicks are present and will move up and down. All parts move freely. Both burners are hinged. Nice pair of vintage Ship lights. Selling as is. Can use a good polishing. Will try to describe as best as I can. Copper lights with bronze hardware/signage. Marked STUURBOORD and BAKBOORD. Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. The tray holding the light does slide out. The hardware does seem to indicate the lamps are side mounted. Each light is about 2 pounds 5 ounces.

Old Brass Nautical Lantern Lamp Handheld
Old. Metal, brass, nautical hand lantern. This item shows overall wear including scratches. Tarnishing, discoloration, and minor rust at the seams found to the metal. All parts appear to be original including the burner which has the only markings on the knob which are for P& A Mfg Co. Made in Waterbury, Conn. Not including the back handles. This item measures approximately 2.75” x 6” x 10” at its largest dimensions. There is a very clever door opening device which is a pin with a wing behind the glass; when the pin is turned. I cannot find any markings but most of these were made by the famous Perko Marine Lantern Company of Brooklyn. New York. This handsome old lamp has a brass top with ring. Two separate red and blue GLOBES with divider, and a hanger on the back. It is about 10" tall to the top of hanger and 8" wide at the divider. This would be a great addition to any lantern collection. Decor or it would make a TERRIFIC gift. Pair of 2- Old Brass ship lanterns. Made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. out of Brooklyn New York. Brass Has a beautiful natural aged patina. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

Antique 1870 s Nautical Ships Lamp tubular lantern Dietz railroad? lighthouse?
I do not know the maker of this lantern. It looks like a Dietz but no maker marks. I think its nautical. Lighthouse, railroad maybe, but it has a fresnal globe. It has been in my collection for 20 years or so. Super solid. It stands 20 inches tall and 8 inches wide at the base. 8 pounds. It is a Hot blast tubular no0 Signal lamp. It has the original burgundy Red paint with some of the original stenciling stating. Tubular Signal Lamp on one side top, on the other I think, No0. The paint is missing in spots throughout. Showing silver bare metal and surface rust. The right tube has one slight ding.the left tube is dented outside, at about 2/3 of the way up at the lamp, at about the shroud solder joint, The original tube solder is all intact and solid. The cage is original soldered with one loose solder. minor' Pitting is concentrated to ... morethe bell bottom. It is not a structural issue. There are minor dents at the bell bottom base front. It has a brass plate with the model and patent dates as pictured. The original globe has no chips. Cracks and is crystal clear with one bubble. The original smoke baffle is still inside the chimney section. It also states tubular marine signal lamp with may 28 186? jany 7 1868 under the font between the hot blast tubes. The font is in real nice condition.Missing the filler cap. The burner and wick function well.
