Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. Up for sale a vintage copper& brass maritime ship lamp with a green glass globe. The majority of the metal is copper although the back may be brass. The globe is partial and is sealed inside. The case is 14 inches tall measuring to the top of the handle.The round portion with the globe is 8 inches in diameter and the base portion is 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches square. This has been wired so the light is in good working order. There is a brass plate on the outside(pictured) it shows Starboard RT 400 NK 77. The globe is marked with a triangle with GGG inside it,also it shows BT43698 and HI 09/03/76 HI 09/01/81. The globe glass is in good shape. This is a very rare large antique handmade wood and meta nautical light house electric table lamp. it is a lovely piece of nautical Folk Art and completely crafted and painted by hand. the actual lighthouse is made from metal and riveted together. the top watch tower is made from several detailed pieces of wood and has a handmade metal fence wrapping the edge. it has a clear glass shade with a carved wood and bronze finial. the bottom structure is made from wood with metal accents. it also has a light inside and both are operated from a switch in the back. the door opens and closes on hinges and is very well made. it is mounted to a rectangular wooden base. it measures 28 inches tall 18 inches long by10 1/4 inches wide. it's overall in nice condition and displays very well. it has normal ware from age and some paint loss on the bottom ... moreof the lighthouse cylinder. there is also a couple window panels missing on this structure. the lights both work wonderfully and is a great piece of nautical Folk Art. I cannot find any markings but most of these were made by the famous Perko Marine Lantern Company of Brooklyn. New York. This handsome old lamp has a brass top with ring. Two separate red and blue GLOBES with divider, and a hanger on the back. It is about 10" tall to the top of hanger and 8" wide at the divider. This would be a great addition to any lantern collection. Decor or it would make a TERRIFIC gift. Antique Heavy Brass Nautical Oil Lamp Patents 1869 - 1877 2 & 1/8" Lip Chimney
Heavy antique brass oil lamp with a nautical dual wick signal oil burner having patent dates from to 1869 to 1877 on the knob. Signal Oil" was commonally used in marine applications because it was cheap and because it's thick consistency made it suitable to do double duty as a lubricant. NOTE; modern lamp oil. Vegetable oil, olive oil, Etc will work fine as substitutes for signal oil. Burner top lifts off for lighting the dual wicks, doing so reveals a spherical preheat chamber designed to warm and thin the signal oil in cold conditions. Lamp is dent free. Burner is in excellent lightly used condition including the spring clips that retain the period{lots of swirls in the hand blown glass} chimney. Has new wicks and is ready to use. Pair of 2- Old Brass ship lanterns. Made by the PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. out of Brooklyn New York. Brass Has a beautiful natural aged patina. The original glass lens is starting to turn a very slight amethyst color. The lanterns inside were made by E. MILLER Co. And are marked. Look at the pictures closely. This is exactly the way I found them. I think they would polish up nicely. They measure about 17-1/2" tall(including the bail) and each weighs close to 9 pounds. In excellent condition. And would clean up nicely if you choose to do so. Both show expected wear. And have a few dings. Overall in Very Good Condition.

Antique 1870 s Nautical Ships Lamp tubular lantern Dietz railroad? lighthouse?
I do not know the maker of this lantern. It looks like a Dietz but no maker marks. I think its nautical. Lighthouse, railroad maybe, but it has a fresnal globe. It has been in my collection for 20 years or so. Super solid. It stands 20 inches tall and 8 inches wide at the base. 8 pounds. It is a Hot blast tubular no0 Signal lamp. It has the original burgundy Red paint with some of the original stenciling stating. Tubular Signal Lamp on one side top, on the other I think, No0. The paint is missing in spots throughout. Showing silver bare metal and surface rust. The right tube has one slight ding.the left tube is dented outside, at about 2/3 of the way up at the lamp, at about the shroud solder joint, The original tube solder is all intact and solid. The cage is original soldered with one loose solder. minor' Pitting is concentrated to ... morethe bell bottom. It is not a structural issue. There are minor dents at the bell bottom base front. It has a brass plate with the model and patent dates as pictured. The original globe has no chips. Cracks and is crystal clear with one bubble. The original smoke baffle is still inside the chimney section. It also states tubular marine signal lamp with may 28 186? jany 7 1868 under the font between the hot blast tubes. The font is in real nice condition.Missing the filler cap. The burner and wick function well.

2 ANTIQUE BRASS SHIP MARINE NAUTICAL LANTERNS ELECTRIC LAMP BIRDCAGE PERKINS
I apologize for the length but I wanted to be thorough. Up for sale are two antique nautical oil lanterns that were converted for electrical use. After some Internet research I found a match for these lanterns. They are not stamped but identically match the Perkins Marine Lamp Corporation models made during 1916 to 1931. These were considered a"standing light" and were used aboard US Naval torpedo boats. Battle ships and destroyers of the WW1 era, according to"Lanterns That Lit Our World" book 2 page 120 by Anthony Hobson. Size is 17.5 inches tall and about 9 pounds each. These may or may not have been used in that capacity but they due seem genuine even thought they are not stamped with a company name. In any case as you can see one is red and the other is green. The coloring does not seem to be original according to ... morethe research but you can decide whether to keep it that way or remove the paint. Both lanterns have colored bulbs that will come with this auction. Condition The paint on the red lantern is about 50% missing. It was difficult to get a good picture that represented how the red lantern looks with the bulb on. But there is a picture taken from inside the glass to show the condition of the paint. The red lantern also has 3 vertical seams and do not appear to be cracks. I believe the glass was replaced when they were converted since the lines are straight and do not appear to be damage related. The red lantern also has two screws in the bottom, see pic, to hold the bulb/lantern housing in place. The green lantern has a dent in the top, see pic. The"hanging hooks" are a bit out of square as seen in the pictures. I have not found any cracks or holes in the brass housing that should not be there. Both lights have pull strings to turn lights on and off without unplugging. Both have old two prong style plugs.
