This is an antique nautical maritime copper lantern ceiling. Porch, or hallway light fixture. It was manufactured by the Metrolite Manufacturing Co. The only info I could find on this company was from the 1930s which is likely commensurate with the age and patina on this lantern fixture. It measures 15 inches long from ceiling canopy to base. The base diameter of the lantern is 6-1/4 inches. The interior"jelly jar" glass measures 4-3/4 inches long and 4-1/4 inches in diameter. The interior top portion of the glass is marked"Metrolite Copper Lantern No. 00" NOTE: The first number is illegible. Shipping: I will package this carefully for shipment. Vintage Industrial Age Light Spot Lamp Antique Marine Fixture Ship Military
This auction is for one vintage ship spot light. We bought this fixture from a local estate. It belonged to a man that served in the Navy as a dentist. This was part of a large lot of vintage dental equipment that we purchased. We were told that it was from one of the many military ships that he practiced on. The fixture does work. There is a separate bulb socket mounted on the plate that supports the round light diffuser that is not wired. But the bulb in the center of the diffuser works(see pictures) Cosmetically, there are scratches and plenty of wear. It was painted black at some point and that paint is flaking and there is surface rust present(see pictures) It has been in storage for quite a while and it needs to be cleaned. Hello.Im guessing this is from an old Chris Craft boat but not sure.The top of the blue glass is marked NML Co.The inside porcelain electrical piece looks fine and it appears to take a regular size light bulb as seen.Thw wire that comes out the bottom back is not there.I hope someone can use this piece or just the blue shade.The bottom part is brass and where the brass meets the blue shade it is worn so the glass does not stay attatched well.It could sit straight up and be fine but when you turn on the side it would fall off.You could improvise some how but I'll leave that up to you.Hope someone can use this.Would be neat to also hook up wire and use as in house display.Enjoy!

Antique Vintage Red Bow Boat Light Mounted on Clamp Port Side Maritime Works
This is most likely considered an antique(50+ years old) The only stamp on it. Is on the"on switch" and it simply says, Made In USA" I bought it from an elderly man that was down-sizing. It was described as a"Red Bow" boat light. It's for the"port" side of the boat. It's battery operated and the stainless steel housing is in very good condition, having maybe 2 small"pit marks" The red plastic lens is also in great shape, having only 1 or 2"rub marks" The metal clamp is a flat colored metal and would clean up nicely, there is one small area of surface rust(1-2" on the inside, but the finish is smooth in that area so there is no structural damage, at all. The"turn screw" that tightens the clamp to the boat, is bent and could use a bit of straightening out. The light ... morestill works, I turned it on and took pictures of it, lit up. The light, itself, measures nearly 7" in length. The clamp's inside width is 2 5/8" It's a really great light. I've looked at a number of boat lights online and have yet to find a similar one. It would make a great addition to the collection of someone that collects maritime items!

Antique unique boat bow running light/handmade/late 1800s - early 1900s
This is a rare. Unique handmade bow running light that I would say dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is galvanized metal in a triangular shape- there is a door in the back that slides up to install illumination. One the front, there are two loops which must have been used to attach it to something on the bow. I have never seen a bow light like this and living on the Northeast Coast, I see a lot of them. I believe this is a handmade effort. As for illumination, this may or may not have had a simple burner- it may also have had only candle power. It has never been electrified. Inside, there are three posts that would have held either a small burner of candle. Size is 10" high, by 8" across the back by 6&1/2" deep. Condition is as found and as shown. Please look at all photos to form your own idea of quality and condition. ... moreThere are traces of old paint. The green glass has many bubbles in it- the red, less so. I would say the red may be later than the green. In addition, there is a hairline crack/break of the red but it is quite stable as it sits and is barely noticeable. I would say this lamp is in very good condition for its age. It is made out of brass and has one side with green ribbed glass and the other side with red ribbed glass. There is also a divider made of brass that separates the two colors from view of passing ships on the high seas(sometimes seen missing or damaged on other lights) The brass has a nice patina from many decades of life. There is a decent size dent on the slightly-domed top(please see photos) The side of the light is marked with Perko's logo and company info. Being made in Brooklyn,NY. My guess as to age would be from around the 1930s or 40s. It could be even earlier-back into the 20s or so- but I'm not certain. The glass is in good condition. With no major breaks, cracks or scratches. ... morethere is normal wear consistent with age on both red and green glass(in the center particularly- please see photo) Also. Each of the red and green also have a very small chip in one of the thin ribs that runs laterally across the glass. This lantern lamp came from my dad's garage. I can't tell what kind and guessing on the Bridge lamb.It appears to be in good shape. This lamp looks like a kerosene lantern but this one has a light bulb socket. It does not appear to be converted from kerosene I cannot find any company markings so your guess is as good as mine. Up for bidding pleasure we have a; Nautical Masthead light! This light came from an estate auction. We were glad to be able to offer it to our customers and buyers. They are getting harder to find in any condition. This on would be a very easy re-purpose. As you can see from the pictures it has the two glass in then front. They are in great condition. The hinged top is with the brass handle, with the badges on top, which reads E.Beacon& Co, Makers, Grimsby. Then the second badge which MASTHEAD. The piece is made of Brass and Copper. It has years of tarnish, but as you can see from the pictures someone had removed the tarnish from different places on top, believe to see if it were brass or copper.Has two heavy brass mounting feet on the front as well as a heavy brass mounting plate on the back. This is a no reserve auction for a VINTAGE ANTIQUE 1977 LNG ARIES SHIP NAUTICAL RED 3-1/8 FOCAL HEIGHT LIGHT LAMP. It is of cast bronze and the masthead light as shown is embossed on the top of the lamp marked US. 3 1/8 FOCAL HEIGHT LAMPS and M-5251-1. The lamp has three single holes for mounting on the base. Three heavy outer guards to protect the thick glass Fresnel lens and a bezel type removable lid. The original interior light fixture remains and is still functional or can be easily replaced. Retains a fine old weathered viridian green patina on the bronze surfaces. The date is etched in as 1977. The Fresnel lens survives in good order with just a few minor edge chips. A wonderful old maritime light that can be used today for numerous indoor and outdoor lighting functions!
