We are offering today this large 20" antique Miller Co lantern. Believed to be from 1930's to 1940s rare and very desirable. We have not been able to find another one like it. They are usually flat on the back. Ours is V shaped that fits in a corner with bracket pocket on the left. Its red fresnel glass lens was made by Perko with Mold No.35 on its side. I have a copy of the original bill of sale from the Carlisle and Finch Co that shows the provenance and history of the item: The light was made for the Canadian Fairbanks Morse Co LTD(of Saint John New Brunswick Canada) and was shipped on March 23, 1928(from Cincinnati, Ohio) The light is all brass and has been re wired with modern wiring and is fully functional. National Marine Lamp Co. Copper Perkins Spot Search Light Early 1900's Nautical!
Nice RARE Antique COPPER lamp searchlight from the turn of the century. Beautiful original condition but untested and will likely need restoration in order to function at 100% The glass measures approx. 6" in diameter and the COPPER housing is nearly 6 1/2" deep. The unit is approximately 17" tall from top to bottom. THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE WEIGHS NEARLY 7 POUNDS! Now that's a lot of copper! Because of it's QUALITY EARLY AMERICAN BUILD The mechanical functions work very well. Push the handle up and down and the lamp housing aims upwards and downwards. Turn the handle left or right and the housing turns left and right. The original electrical wiring is still attached. This is a very cool and very unique piece of antique American History. Nautical Lamp made from old antiques and driftwood-by Jim Scheibner. Folk Artist. The boat light came off a old Crestliner boat, the cottage nautical lamp with the milk glass globe came out of a cottage on torch lake Michigan. The vertical piece came out of Torch Lake and the base was found on the shore line near Fort Morgan at the entrance of Mobile Bay. The two pcs of driftwood were cut in two, and that made it possible to make two lamps of the same style. The materials and design are all original work and the Base is 14" long x 10" wide x 17" high. Each lamp weighs 12 lbs. so they each are sturdy. They were made as a pair, but will sell them individually. Measures approx. 8-3/4" high to top of cap and 10-1/2" to top of ring. Made entirely of brass and signed on the back"M'F'R'D. BY NATIONAL MARINE LAMP CO. NEW YORK. Wick adjustment knob is signed"P.A. MFG. CO. WATERBURY, CONN. MADE IN U.S.A. Lamp is all original and complete, wick still adjusts up and down freely. However, there are two old solder repairs to the two burner spring clips, and at some point someone cut a crude hole in the bottom hinged cover plate for an electric wire. Glass lenses appear to be the originals and are in good condition with NO cracks or chips. Still in very nice overall condition, just needs cleaning and polishing-if desired. Vintage Port RED Nautical Nagivation Channel Light Andrew Co. Chicago TYPE 660
Fresh out of a local estate is this wonderful Port Nautical Navigational Light. Truly a work of art and VINTAGE. According to the previous owner it came from Vero Beach. FL(but I can't prove that) Made in the US by Andrew Co. Chicago and appears to be 50+ years old. I was not able to find anything about the maker so no real way of dating it. Perfect for a Man Cave/Restaurant or your own channel marker. As you can see by the pictures there is a chunk of glass out of the top(clear part) but turned around you can't tell that. The red glass lamp in the inside is in perfect condition. The clear glass is in the design of light house glass so that it reflects. This is truly a piece of history and a great collectible for the nautical collector. It measures 33" tall and 15" across at the base. Weighs over 50# This was never an oil ... morelamp. F H LOVELL& CO.Antique Brass Nautical Ships Lantern late 1800's lamp. This lantern looks great! The glass is thick and very old. There are no flaws.Chips or cracks in the glass. I was going to electrify this lantern but it would not go with any of our other decor.Just a couple of slight dents in the brass from use. Right now there is no means by which to light this lantern. I dropped in a light bulb to show off the color of the glass when illuminated. This is a great piece of history. F H Lovell started around the civil war era. It made marine lanterns primarily. By the early 1920's the name was changed because the company merged with a railroad lantern company so this lantern was most likely manufactured around 1880. The lantern is 10 inches tall(14 inches tall with handle) and the width is 9 inches in diameter.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. These may be nautical in nature but are definitely unique and interesting. Size is approx. measurement taken from back galvanized portion. 16 inches tall by 8 inches wide. Thanks for looking

Vintage The Portable Light Co. New York Nautical spotlight base solid brass?
Here's a vintage base/stand for a nautical search/spotlight made by The Portable Light Co. New York. It seems to be made almost entirely of chrome plated brass or copper. Though confusingly there are some signs of rust in certain areas and it is very faintly magnetic. My best guess is that a thin layer of iron was put over the copper or brass base before the chrome was applied to act as a bonding agent. Everything still rotates well and would be perfect for use if put with a fitting spotlight. There is some paint staining and copper oxidization present. Mostly on the conical base piece. The chrome plating on that area is also quite dull and faded. The base is also marked"STYLE/1-MILE-RAY" NO RESERVE. Please make sure you contact me if you have any questions. 7 1/4" Vintage Antique New York Auto Lamp Co. Nautical Spotlight Marine WORKS
Up for auction is a vintage New York Auto Lamp Co. Spotlight produced in New York. NY. Despite it being made by the auto company, it really seems to be a marine/nautical spotlight to me based off its design. Has a nice patina- you can see a slight imperfection in the glass faceplate in the photos. The diameter of the face is approximately 7 1/4" I plugged it into the wall and it turns right on. Height measured from the base where it meets the board to the top is about 17" If you do not want the wooden board it is currently attached to we can arrange for a slight reduction in shipping cost- light will be detached from wooden base for shipping anyway. Up for auction is an original George Carpenter& Co Solid Brass Nautical Lantern With Glass Working. This is an original early 1900's Nautical Lantern. Originally this lamp was probably carried on the deck of a ship as it has a handle for carrying. It was also probably an oil lamp converted to electric at a later date. The lamp works perfectly well with the socket. Has a nice warm glow that radiates from behind the glass. It is approximately 10 inches tall and about 4" inches wide. The brass still has its original aged patina and has not been cleaned. It may have also at one time had a bottom piece that held oil. The glass itself has a few chips in it and a crack but most assuredly isn't going to break in the near future as it's extremely thick. Offered for auction is a very rare marine/ ships lantern. Bow light or Dock lantern. Made by the Wm Porter's Sons Co. Probably in the mid-to-late 1800. Wm. Porter was a long-time naval/navy man. In 1823. At the age of 12, he signed on as a midshipman on his uncle's ship, the Franklin. 11 years later he was commissioned as a lieutenant. From 1838 to 1840 he served as lighthouse inspector on the east coast. Ultimately he reached the rank of Commodore in the US Navy and commanded the USS St, Mary's and the USS Essex In 1942 the destroyer William D. Porter was named in his honor. Originally an oil lamp. Here is something you don't see every day! For sale is a great old copper& brass lantern made by R.C. Murry& Co. Limited of Glasgow. England. It has all 3 of it's brass plaques, stating it's a Port lantern, who it's made by, and the patent numbers. The plaques have a beautiful flourish to them! It is identified as a Lamp-ads 924. The last photo shows you just how big this lantern really is, and it's BIG! It stands 25" with the handle up. 22" with it down, 15" across, and 14" deep. It was made for a Class 4 vessel, over 65' and weighs 18.5 lbs. It has a good Sherwood Burner, with both wheels working freely. The entire lantern is made up of copper. With the exception of the brass handle, plaques, flat back hanging bracket, and top lid. It has it's burner and reflector, both in good working ... morecondition. There are two small chips to the fresnel, both of which do not mar it's looks nor do anything to stop it's function. They are both exterior chips. The copper housing has one small ding at the bottom of the right hand corner of the fresnel. It is likely from the early 1930's. We acquired it along with a second lantern we were after at the time. It came from a Honolulu estate of an avid maritime collector. His main focus were for items from the RMS Queen Mary and the SS Normandie. His children said this lantern came from the Normandie. But they had no proof of that. However we did get a Letter of Provenance stating what I've said. don't know what that's worth though. Vintage Boat Port Starboard Running Marker Lights NFL CO Nautical Marine Lamps
4-3/4" tall by 3-1/2" front to back or 4-1/2" diagonally. A wonderful set of lights in excellent condition with natural patina. The lenses are embossed with initials of the maker. Which was the National Marine Lamp Co. No dents, no heavy corrosion. The green oxidation on them could easily be removed leaving them with the beautiful patina, or the could be polished up to a brilliant brass like original. The fittings have surface oxidation, but are in excellent condition. The green lens has a small inconspicuous chip on one of the ribs near an edge as seen in last photo#12. There is old masking tape residue on the backs and bottoms. The previous owner put tape on a lot of things to protect from contact with other materials. These can be easily rewired. Each connection point has a set screw you tighten down on the wire lead, after ... moreinserting it in the proper hole. One of these set screws can be seen in photo#11. Vintage Unique Brass Nautical Table Lamp Base with Ships Wheel and Anchor Here is a very handsome vintage lamp base. Circa mid-century modern era, perfect for your nautical home decor. It is all gilt brass except for the cast iron base. It is marked in relief on the bottom, Rubal Lighting Co. plus a number. This is just the base. There is no wiring, bulb, or lens included in this auction. It is in very good condition. Just a little minor wear to the gilding. The lamp is approximately 13" high. 8" long, and 5 1/2" wide at the base. The opening for the lamp in the back is 4" wide, 3 3/4" wide in the front. It weighs 3 1/2 lbs unpacked. HUGE 19" KILBORN SAUER CO. Nautical Ship navigation Light Lantern Antique
This is a HUGE antique ship navigation light. I have never seen one this large. It weighs over 17 lbs and measures 24"including the handle. The bottom plate is missing. The globe is red and is stamped and made by Perko so I think just the glass was made by them. Im not sure if this has the original wiring or if it was rewired for personal use there is a light bulb inside that hangs from the top. The bulb and wires can be easily removed.
