They are gimbal lights which means they will remain upright as the ship/boat rolls. Lights are 6" tall. Base is 3 1/2" dia. and stick out from the bulkhead approximately 5" They are wired for either 12V or 120V light bulbs and have on/off switches. I do not have the lamp shades but they should be easy to find and any boat supply store. These light are very unique, solid brass and would make a great addition to the interior cabin on your boat.

Offered is this vintage. All brass, nickel plated marine spot light. It is in very good vintage condition with no damage but with expected patina. It appears to be from the 1940's era. The entire unit appears to be nickel plated brass including: All brackets, clamps, nuts and bolts, housing, power cord sheathing, bezel etc. The only ferrous parts are the two tiny screws in the side of the housing and the central bolt that claps onto the spindle( no doubt non- original hardware) In addition to a vintage marine application, this light would easily convert to rat bike or chopper application with its single centrally located lower mounting point. The handle on the back detaches from the inside with two screws. The switch is a push-pull, plunger type. The cylindrical housing measures about 5 1/2" across and about 4 3/4" long. Offered here as is. Antique Red Green Perko Boat Bow Light mounted on teak or maybe mahogany wood. We found this piece at a fine Florida estate and were told it came off a Chris Craft vessel. It does have holes on each end of the(teak/mahogany wood) as though it would mount to the bow of a boat. There are minor age cracks in wood on each end. Red& Green Fresnel lens on Perko light is not cracked or chipped. The guy we got this from said he removed it from the Chris Craft boat himself and said it did work when it was removed. This piece is all ONE Piece- the switch on top clicks fine but this Perko navigational light was not possible for us to test. Offered as is. Large- measuring about 23" across and sits about 8" high. It holds oil and has a wick. The wick raises with ease up from the flip top burner. All you would need to do is add oil. It was very well made. It weights almost 6 pounds and has a nice bale style handle with a loop at the top for hanging and also has loop tie downs on the sides for use on a ship. Two(2) antique Brass Ships Mast Lanterns Up for auction are two matching ships mast lanterns. These lamps were acquired by my dad on Long Island in the early 50's. My dad had them electrified. Wall mounts made and they served as our front door lamps for about 20 years until we moved to Pennsylvania where they were moved indoors and were mounted on our fireplace. I hung on to them for the past 25 years and kept them in storage. About 6 months ago I started to restore them to a working oil lamp and never finished the restoration(too many projects! About 35 years ago. I polished them and sprayed them with clear lacquer. They looked really good and could use a good polishing again. 2 Vintage Brass RUSSELL& STOLL NY Explosion Proof Lights- PURPLE GLASS GLOBES: Up for auction is a fantastic set of 2 vintage industrial lights which I rediscovered recently in a basement which had been untouched for over 50 years. Along with these two lights. I found 8 addition vintage explosion proof ceiling lights which I will be listing in the near future so please be sure to check back often. These 2 explosion proof lights were made and are clearly marked RUSSELL& STOLL CO. NEW YORK which is embossed on the top of the brass metal fixtures. Attached to the heavy brass fixtures(which were painted silver/ grey at one point in time) are the stunning purple glass globes. These two lights obviously once hung outside or directly in the sunlight because the maganese in the glass has oxidized over many years with the exposure to the suns ... moreUV radiation. Both thick glass globes have a perfect light tinted purple coloration to them and both of the glass globes are in excellent condition given their age having no cracks or chips in the globes themselves(other than a couple of small flea bites around the base which cannot be seen once screwed into place) and the threading on the glass allows the globes to screw into place easily and tightly without any wiggle room in their brass fixtures. Although the two lights are very similar in size and shape, there are a couple of very small differences between the two including the bulb fixtures(one is marked: BRYANT 660W 250V PAT'D NOV. 26, 1907) and the mounting brackets. I have not tampered with these two lights but I have taken them apart(as shown throughout my photographs) so that you can inspect the overall condition of each light. I have gently cleaned the interior& exterior of each of these lights so the winning bidder will receive very clean items but please keep in mind that I have not tested these lights for their working condition. The bulbs that are currently with the lights are the ones which were found with them(one being an earlier National Mazda bulb)

Brass top and a brass fount. The overall condition of this lantern is very good and displays well as is. However, it does need a good cleaning and the hinge which attaches to the bottom plate needs to be re-soldered. Heavy Duty~ From Before Electric Lights Please be patient there are 8 photos to be loaded in this auction. This auction is for an antique mid 1800's ... moreship's whale oil lamp on a gimbal. Made of brass and iron. A gimbal allows something that contains liquid to self level in a situation such as a ship where the floor would not remain horizontal, something you would appreciate especially with a lamp holding flammable fuel. There is an old wick coming out of the burner side, and a thumbscrew that will open the filling space. The gimbal is made of iron, a gracefully curved heavy bar that would have been placed into a hole in a post drilled to hold a lamp such as this. The lamp itself is made of brass, made to withstand heavy duty use. When you remove the thumbscrew, the plate on the top will lift off with the wick. We could not find another example like this one so we are calling it rare. What a great chance to obtain something that would have been vitally useful in its time, but is a relic now that predates the electric light bulb. The star of the show in this large vintage"Perko" brass lantern is the stunning heavy red glass Fresnel lens. As you can see. Sitting in front of a window it looks like the light is turned on.Very heavy with the brass construction. You may enjoy the vintage charm of the current"patina" or choose to give the brass a nautical shine. As you can see in my next-to-last photo looking down into center of lens glass, part of the electrical fittings remain inside- would need to be rewired if you want to light it.
