VINTAGE CLEAR CAST BRASS SHIP BOAT LIGHT NAVIGATION MARINE Double Globe Pauluhn
Hello up for auction we have a very nice vintage Pauluhn brass double globe navigation ship light. It is very large and has 2 clear globes that are 6 inches in diameter, each globe measures 7 inches tall. The whole light fixture it self measures 9 inches in diameter and is 16 inches tall, it has a clear light on top and a red light on bottom. It is electric and works great. I believe this to be off a big vintage lake Superior ship, not sure which one. The light is in great condition and has a screw top lid. Feel free to ask any questions and Thanks for viewing.

This is a beautiful copper and brass kerosine anchor light with a nice aged patina. It is in is in excellent condition. There are no dents. Cracks or missing parts. All parts are made with heavy gauge copper and brass. The lens is thick heavy glass. You can see some small air bubbles inside the glass) This is truly a quality lamp that will last for many years. F H LOVELL& CO.Antique Brass Nautical Ships Lantern late 1800's lamp. This lantern looks great! The glass is thick and very old. There are no flaws.Chips or cracks in the glass. I was going to electrify this lantern but it would not go with any of our other decor.Just a couple of slight dents in the brass from use. Right now there is no means by which to light this lantern. I dropped in a light bulb to show off the color of the glass when illuminated. This is a great piece of history. F H Lovell started around the civil war era. It made marine lanterns primarily. By the early 1920's the name was changed because the company merged with a railroad lantern company so this lantern was most likely manufactured around 1880. The lantern is 10 inches tall(14 inches tall with handle) and the width is 9 inches in diameter.

Antique Eli Griffiths brass and copper lantern, looks complete
This interesting old lamp is most likely from the early part of the 20th Century. Perhaps before. It looks as though this piece has all its necessary components including a key, at one the end of the original chain, in order to control light(it moves the wick up and down) Even the wick looks like it would most likely work with a bit of fuel. There is no key available for the front hole(not sure what that one does, see last photo) Definitely a charming piece for the just the right decor. Bottom is 4-1/8" diameter. Interior tinned. Condition is"as-found, with a beautiful patina. Solid brass with 3 iron rivets for the handle. This was clearly a working tool of the L-H Service. Don't know the age but would guess mid-1800s. Note: bottom seam drips; will have to be re-soldered if you plan on using this to fill your lamps. Also some minor dents on the bottom(see photo) and a couple of dings on the edge of the spout which look like normal wear. Best part: it's tapered like a lighthouse.

The date is also stamped on the chimney but cannot be read. Fully functional. Heavy gauge brass with copper rivets lantern complete with all its original parts. Used aboard a ship as a bulkhead, cabin, wardroom lamp/ lantern. Bulpitt and Sons LTD is imprinted on both the chimney and Bulpitt on the oil tank. Manufactured by famed English maker. Bulpitt and Sons, Birmingham, England. This is an extraordinary and rare item in excellent condition. The lantern measures 16" at the tallest chimney point and 20" with the wooden handle extended. 8" wide at the back, 5" deep. Weighs amost 11 lbs. The back is flat and boasts a huge brass clip ... morewith copper rivets for sturdy mounting. The front is three-sided with glass windows which are all intact, with no cracks or chips. The original brass burner is also in excellent condition with a wick, not sure it is the original. The stamp on the burner clasp reads Bulpitt. A brass reflector wall is behind the burner. The burner looks as though never used and slides out easily through the glass door on the right. There is also a slide on the side of the door that moves to expose an opening without having to open the door. The chimney top opens and the entire top is hinged to flip back allowing access to the chimney. It even still has the solid brass knob on the front lower corner. There are a few small dents consistent with its age. But it does not detract from the overall beauty of this gorgeous piece of British seafaring history. This would make a great piece to add to any maritime nautical collection.

I have up for auction a really nice pair of vintage/antique Russell& Stoll Co. New York wall sconces. This pair is in very good condition but as can be seen will need rewiring to be functional. The back of the sconces appear to be made from galvanized metal. The rest of the light and cage portion are I believe to be brass. Cages open and close with a spring latch. Use your own judgment. And look at the pictures carefully. They probably date back to the teens or 1920s. The brass has been painted over with black paint. They both have been wired for electricity and don’t have their burners. Although their reflectors are present. They measure approximately 17” high to the top of the handle. And 7-1/4” wide. One lantern still has its mounting bracket. And the globe has a crack on the side(approx. 3” long) Also that cap on top is missing a small piece where it would attach to the lantern. This is a pair of Antique/Vintage brass boat running lights in fresh estate condition. Please see the photos for condition- there are no makers marks that I can see. The glass lenses are a combo of Red and Green glass. One crack can be seen in one of the glass lenses but no glass is missing so could be glued and still display well- some of the metal fin is missing but as it is at the back of the light it will still display well once it is cleaned. Item: Antique Brass Lantern Description: As a“picker” I find myself in all kinds of places hunting for treasures to sell. Recently. I stopped at an old barn in the Catskill Mountains of New York because I saw the owner walking around outside. He was nice enough to let me walk around and surprisingly. I only left with one item sadly. But, this item is really awesome. It is a VERY OLD Brass Hanging Lantern that was so incredibly caked with dust I could barely recognize what it was. I believe a lantern like this was fueled either by kerosene/oil of some sort. This lantern measures 8” Tall(not including handle) x 4” wide across the base. There are absolutely no“Maker’s Marks” on this piece that I can see. If there was at one time. It probably wore off. I am very comfortable saying this item is no less than 75 years old. I am sure my photos will ... morebest further describe this item. Condition: One thing I know NOT to do is polish up old metal items like this. I simply used a brush to wipe off the years/decades of dust and then only a slightly damp cloth to finish cleaning it. Personally. I love all the oxidations/patina that is on the brass but that is personal. On a scale of 1– 10(Ten being MINT) I can confidently grade this item’s condition to be a solid 7.5 at least. Both the top and base detach as they should and they do it problem free. There is no longer a wick inside of it. The wheel to lower/raise the wick does turn freely though as it should.
