Kilborn-Sauer Co. Port Side Navigational Boat Light
A brass port lantern manufactured by the Kilborn-Sauer Co. of Fairfield. CT as engraved on the brass chimney cap. This appears to be a tarnished brass lantern with galvanized steel reflectors inside. Hinged door with slide latch on one side. The thick red Fresnel lens surface is free of chips or cracks. Has a brass top chimney and ring-top swing handle. Missing original burner, but a burner could easily be replaced, or could be electrified for today's home use. Stands 11 1/2 inches tall exclusive of the bail handle. Photos pretty well show its condition, missing parts, and defects. A wonderful old nautical lantern that I purchased in 1992. Great for use indoors or outdoors.

Antique Marine Navigators Lantern Brass Signal Lamp w original Candle Boat Light
Antique Maritime Boat Navigators Lantern! It is Marked Navigators Lantern but it is so covered in old paint you can only make out the L. See pics. Somewhat rare piece. Brass with Original glass and original candle, see pics. Stands about 8 1/2" tall not including handle/hanger. It's been painted black over what looks like it's original green. Most of these I've seen have a back piece with two metal"handles" So either this one came without them and with this hanger or the handles were removed and the hanger added later. However I don't see any removal holes anywhere on the back but I do see possible old weld marks covered up with old paint. There is a metal peg missing on the front that slides the inner door around to block the light. The door does slide. It has both the inner brass slide door and blackened metal ... moresheathe. Hard to show in pics. Paint is severely flaked. It is in it's original condition as is the candle see pics. Glass is not chipped nor cracked but dingy, needs cleaned and has a cool air bubble in it but you can only see it when it's opened and I didn't get a picture. Very solid hinges are tight and fine. One small dent near globe on it's right if facing it. Hard to see but I got the best pic I could of it. Clasp is strong and door shuts tightly. Nothing wiggles or moves around. You could actually use this right now. All in original condition. The only thing I'm not definite on is it's age. It could be back as far as the Civil War era or just late 1800's. It is believed to have been used as a Railroad signal lantern. conductor's lamp on a train here in the Southwest but I have no evidence to prove that. This spotlight. Is from a 40's or so boat. I saw one on an old Chris Craft. It's complete with wires and bulb, appears to be brass coated or however they did them. The glass has no cracks, there are no dents, just the separation at the base of the cable as seen in the one pic. This is an excellent example of an antique boat spotlight that is a rare item. The wood base is not a part of the unit, just used for display.

Fantastic vintage Perko Mast glass threaded globe. 3" diameter fresnel ball globe. Bee hive shape. Clear glass. A few small chips to the bottom threaded cut edge of the glass globe, seen in pictures. No chips to the outer bee hive circular edges. A small amount of shallow surface scratches, that do not show much in the pictures. No damage to the glass is visible when threaded to the metal base. This Perko Mast glass globe light cover is in great vintage condition.

Thick Red and Blue glass. Inside is a label for DHR( Den Haan Rotterdam) Outside is marked MADE IN HOLLAND. Electrified. Tested and working fine. Not sure if these were oil lamps at one time. I do not see any name on the lantern. There are no dents on the lantern. Front screw opening. The front has the word PORT. The light is heavy red glass. Not plastic. There is no interior piece that lights the lantern. The glass has come loose and the metal frame has separated in the corner but all of this can be fixed. Could use a cleaning/polishing. For its age. PAIR OF BRASS BRONZE RUSSEL& STOLL CO NY LIGHT SHIP NAVY BOAT LAMPS. These are in great condition for their age. A rare find at a shipyard here in Norfolk VA. Please take a close look at the photos and see what awesome shape these lights are in. Authentic and removed from a Navy ship. These lights were used in the bombing area of the old navy ships. They measure about 4 1/2 inches thick and 9 1/2 inches wide. Both open and hinges are in excellent condition. I have not restored or rewired. They are in original authentic condition. vintage/ Perko brass/bronze/ chrome? nautical light. very hard to find style. No pitting. Bright shiny chrome others listed state from Chris Craft but not sure. There is a partial interior gasket photo 9 that could be replaced or not. Needs a bulb has wiring. Lens rear rim that faces the back is partial not cracked and fits well. Nice winged type design. Very heavy I believe bronze/brass chromed over. The top of the lens reads 186-P.
