Antique PERKO Perkins Marine Lamp Boat Ship Lantern Hanging Light Red Lens
This is a great Perkins"PERKO" Marine lantern or bow light. The lantern is about 18" tall counting the handle. The lens is heavy red glass and can be seen from all sides(360 degrees) The lantern works off of oil or kerosene. The reservoir and wick are in tack and working. The Perkins metal tag is still in place(too dark to get into photo) There are some small nicks and I can see what looks like brass under the black paint. I believe the paint is original to the lantern. The lantern is heavy. Over 7 pounds. Lanterns like this were used on large ships as a warning light or bow light. Pair Vintage Brass Cargo Ship Boat Nautical Maritime Oil Wedge Lantern Light
Up for sale is a beautiful pair of old brass maritime oil lantern that is signed"Wedge. These are really fine old lanterns. And very well made. The rivets are copper. There is glass on all four sides behind the grates. One side is a door that opens via a little latch. This lantern measures about 15" tall by 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" with the handle up they measure 22 1/2" The brass has a beautiful, aged patina and the glass is free of any chips or cracks. The wick is still intact. They are in excellent condition with no dents or damage. A very nice and highly collectable pair of lanterns!

Here is a VERY NICE OLD heavy 2 1/2 pound BRONZE/BRASS Boat Bow Light. This has a red/green plastic lens held to the light with a front screw on bracket. This appears to have been once chrome plated and there are a couple of specs where some has remained but it mostly a"HIGH GLOSSY POLISHED" Light. This"TEARDROP STYLE" light is about 5 1/4 long and 4 inches tall. There is a mounting bracket base that is attached to the light base ALL ONE PIECE. There are no mounting screws. There is wiring but no inside bulb. I do not know what type of old boat this came from but I have not seen one like this. VERY UNIQUE PIECE. There is a slot on top where a flag would be mounted. Antique ship nautical boat electric lamp light. Brass bronze coppper? Oakford
Up for auction to U.S. customers only is an old ship's light with Fresnel glass(no chips or cracks to glass) It stands 15 inches tall and the wire cage is 8 inches across. I am not sure if the primary metal is brass. Copper or bronze- or a combination-but a magnet doesn't stick to it. It is very heavy. It is made by Oakford. There is a light bulb socket inside but it probably isn't original and, without the cord plug, I can't test it. If it was originally electric powered, then the wire outlet on the side looks like it held a much larger power cord. The lid screws onto the top for access to the inside. I'm not sure how it was used on board the vessel- some other listings refer to it as a mast light, others describe it for use on dock pilings, others say it lit the passageways on the ship. If anyone knows for sure, let ... moreme know and I'll add it to the listing. Overall it seems in very good condition with a few relatively minor scratches to the lower finish and, of course, the green discoloration which some people call patina and want it left on the piece so I didn't try to clean up that section(new owner can do that) I don't know anything else about this item so please ask questions. Hello.Im guessing this is from an old Chris Craft boat but not sure.The top of the blue glass is marked NML Co.The inside porcelain electrical piece looks fine and it appears to take a regular size light bulb as seen.Thw wire that comes out the bottom back is not there.I hope someone can use this piece or just the blue shade.The bottom part is brass and where the brass meets the blue shade it is worn so the glass does not stay attatched well.It could sit straight up and be fine but when you turn on the side it would fall off.You could improvise some how but I'll leave that up to you.Hope someone can use this.Would be neat to also hook up wire and use as in house display.Enjoy!

This appears to be a VERY well made light for the stern of your vintage boat. It was made by the Seiss company of Toledo Ohio and appears to be nickel or chrome plated brass. The lens is uncracked and incredibly thick- about 1/4 inch. I haven't tested it but there doesn't seem to be any corrosion or problems.

Vtg Perkins PERKO Marine Boat Lamp Starboard Bow Green Red Glass Light Lantern
This listing is for a vintage Perkins PERKO Marine boat Kerosene Lamp. Finding one in better condition than this one will be a challenge. The lamp is made of Galvanized metal and has a Brass Top/Finial and the Kerosene lights hardware is made of Brass. The Dark Green and red lens are made of Glass and are chip and damage free. The design of this lamp is different than most others. The inside hardware is accessible from the bottom of the lamp only. It has ingenious spring loaded tabs of each side. If you want to pull out the hardware you simply squeeze the tabs and pull the hardware out. As you can see from the photo's the Brass hardware is in excellent condition and includes what is probably the original wick.I think this lamp has spent most of it's life indoors. The outside Galvanized Metal is also in excellent condition. Nothing ... moreis loose. All corners etc very tight construction. The top finial piece with hanging loop is made of Brass. I did not clean this. Left the original patina. I did however clean the Brass Perkins/ Perko identification tag because I could not read what it says. Antique Vintage Red Bow Boat Light Mounted on Clamp Port Side Maritime Works
This is most likely considered an antique(50+ years old) The only stamp on it. Is on the"on switch" and it simply says, Made In USA" I bought it from an elderly man that was down-sizing. It was described as a"Red Bow" boat light. It's for the"port" side of the boat. It's battery operated and the stainless steel housing is in very good condition, having maybe 2 small"pit marks" The red plastic lens is also in great shape, having only 1 or 2"rub marks" The metal clamp is a flat colored metal and would clean up nicely, there is one small area of surface rust(1-2" on the inside, but the finish is smooth in that area so there is no structural damage, at all. The"turn screw" that tightens the clamp to the boat, is bent and could use a bit of straightening out. The light ... morestill works, I turned it on and took pictures of it, lit up. The light, itself, measures nearly 7" in length. The clamp's inside width is 2 5/8" It's a really great light. I've looked at a number of boat lights online and have yet to find a similar one. It would make a great addition to the collection of someone that collects maritime items!

Antique unique boat bow running light/handmade/late 1800s - early 1900s
This is a rare. Unique handmade bow running light that I would say dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is galvanized metal in a triangular shape- there is a door in the back that slides up to install illumination. One the front, there are two loops which must have been used to attach it to something on the bow. I have never seen a bow light like this and living on the Northeast Coast, I see a lot of them. I believe this is a handmade effort. As for illumination, this may or may not have had a simple burner- it may also have had only candle power. It has never been electrified. Inside, there are three posts that would have held either a small burner of candle. Size is 10" high, by 8" across the back by 6&1/2" deep. Condition is as found and as shown. Please look at all photos to form your own idea of quality and condition. ... moreThere are traces of old paint. The green glass has many bubbles in it- the red, less so. I would say the red may be later than the green. In addition, there is a hairline crack/break of the red but it is quite stable as it sits and is barely noticeable. I would say this lamp is in very good condition for its age. Overall, this is a beautiful form that speaks volumes of the ingenuity of the men who went out to sea in the late 1800s and early part of the 1900s. US ship only. Thanks for looking!

Nice Perko nautical light. It is nice and heavy and made very well. Possibly from an old antique wooden Chris Craft boat. It is 7.5" long. 4" tall, and 4.5" wide. Here we have a very large ship or boat lamp or lantern marked"Anchor" This estate found lantern is made from solid brass which has been lacquered. Although the lacquer is crazing from age. It still displays very nicely. The center cap in the top flips up and it also opens at the base of the top as well. There is an oil lamp inside that does have the wick. In the center there is a very thick ribbed glass lens that has no cracks. There is a brass anchor hook on the top and the bottom. No dents, nice vintage condition. Very large, the lamp itself measures an impressive 18 1/2" tall not including the anchor hooks at the top and bottom. Diameter is about 9 3/4" This sizable lamp displays nicely. I loved the nostalgia of this light that lighted the way for many fisherman and the craze of the deadliest catch. The light comes with the mounting bracket and it looks to have been wired for a plug I plugged it in and i can hear it on but I don't know if the light bulb is burned out. The outside is a cast metal with some great patina from salt water. It does have some minor surface rust on the bracket and looks to be missing some top bolts that is why you see zip ties and i think at one time there was a cover on front.this is a large light it measures 15 1/2" X 15 1/2" X 6" ... moreweighs 29lbs.
