It is approximately 12" tall, 6.5" wide and 5" deep. It weighs 2.5 pounds. Here's an antique boat pole lamp in estate as found condition. I cleaned the dust/ dirt off of the glass globe shade. Only a few small flakes/ chips seen on ribbed edges. The brass/ copper fixture and threaded globe holder shows some minor wear and aging/ patina to the finish. The spring action is strong inside the lamp socket. The globe/ shade threads on and off fixture base properly. The globe/ shade measures: 2 3/4 inches diameter. 5 1/2 inches height overall including fixture, and the pole measures 7/8 inch outside diameter. Terms: Please make payment within 3 days. Chris Craft Vintage Antique Vintage Blue Red Navigational Boat Bow light Perko
This is a very heavy bow light for a boat. It weighs over 2 lbs. before packing. It has a red glass lens on one side that has a repair on it see picture and a blue glass lens on the other. The housing I think is solid bronze that was chrome plated with a gorgeous patina from use and age but may buff up nice. There is a spot in the top to place a flag on a pole(about 3/4" hole) It's in very nice vintage condition just the way it is with the patina or it can be rechromed to make it look like new. It's about 6 1/4" long X 3 3/4" X 3 1/8" tall. I was told it was removed from a Chris Craft boat But I can not confirm that. Sold as-is. I also have a larger light listed and will combine shipping if going to the same address. Buyer will pay $11.20 for S&H to the lower 48 states.

The top features a pierced"lighthouse" shaped vent. The glass is green. Ribbed and convex shaped. There are bars in front of the glass. The"door" to the interior has a bolt action slide. The interior still has the oil and wick original lighting mechanism. The front plate holding the door is bolted on. Perko bow light off antique Chris Craft. Most likely 1940's or 1950's. Screw on design(no guts or bulbs) Green and red lenses are in perfect condition, chrome is a 7 out of 10(looks much better than in photos) Only a perfectionist would re-chrome this light. There is a 2mm x 4mm flake of chrome missing at very bottom of fin. Just needs a little polish, but in good to very-good condition. 2.5" diameter + 1" fin; 3.25" tall. Made by the Perkins Marine Lamp& Hardware Corporation This item was listed in the 1939 Catalog but not the 1934. according to a person on Ebay that sent me a message about it. Also he said he has not seen one on Ebay for the last 4 years. I cannot find another one of these on the internet or Ebay. Perfect mint condition. but missing wire handle. This item is 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide. My understanding of this rare piece was to take it aloft and place on mast during anchor at night. Here is a very old QUALITY made BRASS/ BRONZE? NAUTICAL SHIP LIGHT. This ANTIQUE NAVIGATION light has a 6 1/2 inch base across and is about 5 1/2 inches tall. This light has really nice AGED PATINA and is a GREAT SHOW DISPLAY PIECE. there ARE 5 base bolts with this light. There are no interior parts. The glass shows on only 1/2 side of the light which was probably for a forward facing deck light. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WAS FROM A SHIP MAST? There are no makers marks. Very HEAVY about 7 lbs. Antique PERKO lantern. The screw-on cap looks to be brass and the rest of it appears to be galvanized. The red plastic lens has a piece broken off it in the upper corner. There is a bulb inside but the filament looks broken so it would have to be replaced when the wiring is fixed. There is a large dent in the back of the lamp. I think it could be pressed in an arbor press to look a lot better. There's some rust. Some dirt, some paint and that's how things go on ships. Vintage lantern would great in your collection. Salvaged from the AP168 USS Gage The Last Journey for the USS Gage By E.B. Fletcher On Thursday. July 23, 2009, the aged creaking hulk of the once proud USS Gage slowly made her way from the James River Reserve Fleet for her last journey to Brownsville, Texas where she will be demolished. The Gage stoically cooperated with the McAllister tugs which were assigned to tow her from Hampton Roads. The Gage's weather beaten hull was blotched with rust hiding any prior Navy gray paint. Her anchors were gone and the only visible sign of any life aboard this forgotten lady were the remnants of an abandoned Osprey nest cradled within one of her forward masts. It is made out of brass and has one side with green ribbed glass and the other side with red ribbed glass. There is also a divider made of brass that separates the two colors from view of passing ships on the high seas(sometimes seen missing or damaged on other lights) The brass has a nice patina from many decades of life. There is a decent size dent on the slightly-domed top(please see photos) The side of the light is marked with Perko's logo and company info. Being made in Brooklyn,NY. My guess as to age would be from around the 1930s or 40s. It could be even earlier-back into the 20s or so- but I'm not certain. The glass is in good condition. With no major breaks, cracks or scratches. ... morethere is normal wear consistent with age on both red and green glass(in the center particularly- please see photo) Also. Each of the red and green also have a very small chip in one of the thin ribs that runs laterally across the glass. NICE Old Antique Vintage 1930's 1940's Chris Craft Perko Brass Pole Glass Light. This is an originnal. Complete and unaltered pole and light. It measures 25 inches high. The diameter measures 3/8 inches. The diameter of the glass ball lens measures 1 1/2 inches. The glass has no cracks or chips. There is a bulb inside that has not been tested. I have not taken it a part. The original cloth cover wire extends from the bottom. There is no damage to the brass pole. I do not know exactly what this came off. The lanterns are in good shape for their age and the lanterns themselves stand about 9 inches tall. They do have some dents and dings towards the tops of the lanterns but the glass has no cracks and is in good shape. They do have alot of oxidation, minor on the outside and major on the inside. I was not going to clean them because I did not want to discolor them but they will hopefully clean up very nicely if cleaned properly. In the last picture you can see one hinge is slightly bent so it is a little harder to close and open that side of the lantern but each opening on the lanterns do lock.
