Antique Seven Panel Double Church Doors
Antique seven panel doors which I believe that they are cherry from a church in Pa. These are the original doors from 1907 and have the Bommer spring hinges. The hinges are like an animal trap they are so strong. One set has been removed from the door and one set is on the other door- you will get both sets. There is a few chips of wood off on the bottom of the one door nothing major. Measure 95-1/4" tall x width 31" EACH x depth 3/4" I have other items in my store from this church. Vintage 1930’s Arts & Crafts Leaded Opaque Glass - Tudor Style Door Sidelights
Here’s a good solid pair of vintage door or window sidelights- nice old white paint with leaded thumbprint Tudor style or Arts& Crafts 1930’s glass windows which measure 47” Tall x 7.25” Wide. Both wooden side frames measure a total of 80" Tall x 10" Wide and 10" Deep. They are great for new construction or even restoration projects. Glass is good throughout. You might even be able to take out the leaded glass and use them as a pair of defused lighting windows for a faire booth. This was a salvaged pair of door sidelights from an antique shop. Condition: Very Good to Excellent for their age. A finish carpenter would have to bring out the true beauty of these unique sidelight doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made of. My wild imagination has her gazing out over a decadent smoky room as people danced& reveled in the wonderful music pouring out of a Victor Victrola or better yet- live jazz music made by Louis Armstrong or Jellyroll Morton! Nice aluminum letter O initial insert for the old screen doors with a grill. I bought a bunch of these together so probably dead stock but may show some paint wear scuffs. An off white kind of sand paper finish on this one. Please see picture. Should be easy to repaint or strip down to the raw aluminum look. About 6 1/4 across the front 3/4 inches deep. Gorgeous glass work! This door started life as a custom piece crafted for a Hillsborough. California mansion. Its most striking elements are the beautiful glasswork; fabulous original hardware including doorknob, rose, key plate, and strikeplate; and the truly unique carved, bas-relief ribbons on one side of the door. An architectural ... morehistorian estimated its manufacture date as sometime between 1900 and 1910. Based on its construction. It does show wear from its age and several moves. There are two hairline cracks in the glasswork. Several repaired dings to the wood window frame, and the wood joins in that frame have parted slightly. It appears as though the hinge side may once have been drilled for the lock mechanism, then refilled. The finish is alligatored, and there are scratches that range from faint to fairly deep. White paint overspray is present on the big brass hinges. All of these are shown in the pictures; please examine them carefully. The original brass hardware is included and is absolutely stunning. Key included. Which may or may not be original to the door, but it does work! Measurements are approximate: Height 78-3/8" Width 27-7/8" Depth 1-3/4" You can pick this up in the San Carlos hills. Victorian style but marked only 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" I believe these are cast iron but could be thick steel as each weighs nearly 1/2 a pound. They have a great embossed detailed design and the metal is clean and rust free. I did take a pin out and there was quite a bit of rust on it. I believe they were cleaned at some point as the people having the estate liked old metal things and the man liked to work on these objects. They have specks of white residue here and there at the top of some of the pins. But I see no signs of these ever ... morehaving been used other than that. These are great looking complete doors with a beautiful aged shellac(varnish) patina and finish. The ends mate properly. Therefore there is no warping. The original end and border trim is present except for the bottom piece on one door, and one top corner is broken on the same door(see pictures) The original hardware is also intact and in excellent condition. There are some minor scratches, but the doors could easily be refinished and would be absolutely beautiful! They are in Great condition with a beautiful old patina and are ready for display. antique Victrorian Eastlake slide lock vintage cast iron deadbolt door hardware
I have an antique cast iron deadbolt lock slide for your consideration. This is original Victorian Eastlake period door hardware. Spring feels strong for reuse. All the original Jappaned finish is worn away. Will clean up nicely for a new finish or nice as is. This was a typical toe kick release for the bottom of a door and floor. The slide engages with foot simply by pushing to engage knob. To disengage simply tap the button with your toe. The top side of the door might have had a matching slide with a chain pull to secure the topside of the door. Lock comes with a flush mount strike that is not original to the piece although could work depending on your application. The Antique Primitive Door is from a 100 year old Country home that had to be demolished. I have cleaned it up some and it would be great to use on a porch or country home for looks not to be used as a door to open and close best if used somewhere under roof due to age. The Door is very heavy and some rough shape see description I have written. The Original White Porcelain door knobs are wonderful. Also the Buttermilk white Paint is original and has chipping. One side of door has a old pink paint or red with a lot of fading of color over the white paint which is neat. The size of the door is 81 inches tall and 34 1/2 inches wide.
