Selling these GORGEOUS antique church doors. Can't seem to find out the actual origin of them. But were removed from an older church. They are extremely heavy, as they have quite a bit of wrought or cast iron on them. Beautiful detailing. Note in first picture, above handle, there were things done to the doors at one point or another to"update" them.such as the deadbolt lock, and there is also a newer door stop on the back. Here are two Swinging Saloon style Doors. Doors are 48 tall x 32.5 wide a piece. I found them together in a very old building in baltimore city. They were swinging on spring like hinges. Description This is an amazing piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. Everything is made of 1/4 sawn oak and is unpainted. There are double entrance doors with stained glass at the top and raised panels below. To either side are sidelites. There are 3 transoms; one above the doors and one above the sidelite. There are 7 pieces total. Great patterns. Colors, and jewels. You are buying the entire set. It is rare to find one so complete. The side transoms are each 12 x 16.5 tall. The center transom is 16.5 x 60. The doors are 59.5 wide and 82.75 tall. They are 2 inches thick. The sidelites are each 12 x 47. Overall it is in good condition. This door was salvaged from a home built in 1913. I have 6 doors from the same home for sale. This door is 80x32. I believe this is douglas fir but I am not an expert. These are large heavy insulated cedar doors. I have 4 large and 2 small for a total of 6 doors all together. Sale is for all 6 doors including all hardware. Hinges, handles and latches with most all of the screws as well(minus a few screws) The wood is all very solid and completely in tact. The chrome shows some rust on some areas as seen in photos. Overall they are in rough condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good scrubbing but will clean up nicely. They are weathered and worn. There are 3 deadbolt holes and a mail slot at the bottom. The moldings around the glass on the fronts are not original. Nor is the astrigal or divider molding. They are solid but very rough.
