Wood Oval Beveled Glass Entry Door
This is a wood oval beveled glass entry door. I measures 31 3/4" x 78 1/2" x 1 3/4" It has a 1 1/4" oval beveled glass window. It is painted on the exterior side and has never been stained or painted on the interior. It is in good overall condition with typical dings for its age. It does not come with hardware. The hardware is being sold in a separate auction. The door was originally set installed with surface hinges and has a right hand swing. I also have a second matching door that has some condition problems. If you are interested in the second door. I would sell it for $150.00 plus s&h for it. Contact me with questions or for photos of that door. Someone emailed a question about the glass. It is clear. Not red. That is a blanket behind the door.

Penn Antique Restoration. 31.5"x81" Antique Arched Door w/4 Raised Panels. Unusual. Antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid, old pine and is painted on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. The door has an arched top with 4 raised panels on both sides. Quirks& ... moreConsiderations: The door originally had a 5th panel at the bottom. But I believe that it was removed to let a pet cross between rooms. We could make and add a new panel- email us for a quote. The height of the door is slightly uneven. It doesn't look like it was modified. And it just looks like that was the way it was built-possibly a custom-build door? The lock stile is a 1/4" taller than the hinge stile. Hardware: Although the photos show some hardware installed; the door doesn't come equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with a solid wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: There are minor cosmetic blemishes from top to bottom. Which are normal for a 100+ year old door. There is a strip of wood missing from the top of the lock stile; there is a chip in the top rail, the edge of the lock ... morestile is chipped, the edge and bottom of the hinge stile are chipped; there is a gap approx. 1/8" on the 2nd to bottom rail; there is a break in the lock housing; there is a strip of wood on the bottom of the door that has a chip in it(the strip can be easily removed) and there is an indention in the middle rail. On the interior side of the door. The edge of the lock stile, the bottom of the hinge stile, the bottom rail, the bottom of the lock stile, and some molding are all chipped; there is a hole in the middle rail, possibly for a bell of some sort. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. 34x83x1.75 Antique Oak Heartpine Wood Victorian Entry Exterior Door Window Panel
Penn Antique Restoration. 34"x83"x1.75" Antique Victorian Entry Door w/Window& 2 Panels. Distressed. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick, quatersawn oak veneers on the exterior side, and 1/4" thick heartpine veneers on the interior side. The door is painted on both sides. Please note that heartpine is the non-living. Core of a pine tree, and not the soft, outer, living sap-wood. Since it takes 30 years for a pine tree just to develop just 1” of heart stock it is rarer, harder, more durable, more insect& rot resistant, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and is much more valuable than the cheap, pine lumber that is commonly found at most hardware stores. Also, please don't think that"veneer" ... moremeans inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. The door has a lhalf-length window. On the exterior side. There is a stepped ledge with carved motif below the window. Also notice the beautiful applied molding around the 2, raised panels below-nice accents! Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. Condition: The door must have sat along it's lock stile edge in some water for a long period of time. As the wood(both veneer and core strips) along that side have rotted away. Most of the lock stile's veneer is intact, and the partially broken portions could be replaced.

Tempered glass and the surrounding lites are beveled. The original, center lite was replaced with this one at some point. When it was replaced, the previous owner also replaced the molding that surrounded the glass with some thin strips of wood, not real molding. We could remove these strips, and make and add molding similar to what the rest of the windows ... morehave. Hardware: This door was originally a part of a pair of double doors. I'm not sure what happened to the other door. But the two were separated at some point. The other door had the knob and lock installed. And it was the one that was most frequently used. Penn Antique Restoration. 48"x107" Antique Victorian Double Entry Doors w/Windows& Panels. Fantastic pair of antique double doors salvaged from an old Victorian home in Philadelphia. PA. Each door is made of solid pine, and has 2 windows with a recessed panel underneath. On the exterior side, the upper windows have stepped ledges directly above, and the lower windows have stepped ledges directly below. Each window and panel is countered with lovely. Bead and reel molding on the exterior side. On the interior side, both panels, and only one of the taller windows has the decorative molding. The other tall window only has 3 pieces, and neither of the upper windows have any. Available is a Wooden door from a 1890s built home. I cant say for sure whether or not this was original or added later but its definately not new. Took the door off to replace with a new modern style. Door does not have hinges(were previously sold seperately) The door knob is newer and I do have a key for it. OUTSTANDING! ANTIQUE EASTLAKE FRONT ENTRY DOOR BEVELED GLASS PANES WOOD HARDWARE
This is such a gorgeous door. I hate to let it go. I found it in Missouri about 8 years ago after my house burned down. I intended for it to be my new front door, but as I rebuilt the house, my design changed from a slightly Victorian/Farm look to more a Craftsman/Lodge style. No longer did its beauty compliment the style of the emerging home. I often thought I would find a use for it, but so far it's sat upright against a wall in my garage. Time to pass it along. First of all. It's truly stunning with mortise and tenon joinery. It has a beautiful honey color and has worn unusually well for it's age. There are a few divets and scratches, but nothing major or unsightly.only added character. A previous owner has used a brown putty on a few of them, and to be honest, I didn't notice them until taking the pictures to post here. ... moreThe one imperfection that I had taken notice of when I bought it was a crack in one of the glass panes. It's in the corner and measures approximately 1 1/2" It does not appear to compromise the integrity of the glass pane at all and is not distracting to the eye. All the glass panes have a lovely beveled edge and add charm to an already enchanting door. The bottom front panels have the usual trademark Eastlake designs and also the wonderfully decorative Eastlake hardware including the front and back plate and the inner locking/latch piece. There is no knob. I have no idea, if once complete that the internal hardware will operate properly or not. Although, you shouldn't have much of a problem finding something else, including knobs.they are all over E-bay! I do have cast iron Eastlake style hinges(a set of three) that I will include. The hinge side of the door has several holes where previous hinges had attached. These can be filled and when I place the hinges up to them there are several holes that hit virgin wood and should grab nicely. There is a borehole for a deadbolt that measures 1 1/4" 1 1/2" diameter. The back side of the door is nice and simple w

This is a old front entry door to a row home in Reading PA that is very old and heavy. The door is 1 3/4"thick. It had very thick glass and some of it is left. Size is 81 1/4" by 36 3/4. It has neat knobs and a nice lock. It has some wood work on the outer side. This is a very heavy door that could be brought back and used again without too much trouble. Penn Antique Restoration. 32"x76" Vintage Exterior Door w/3 Glass Lites& 3 Panels. Sturdy. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. It's made of either solid pine or Douglas Fir, and features 3 glass lites and 3 panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Vintage Entry Kitchen Paneled Solid Wood Door w/ Lights and Frame 32 X 80
Vintage solid wood door. All joints are tight, does not wobble or wiggle when on the hinges. All stained except for the obvious two bottom panels on the inside. Nice clear straight grain, looks like Spruce. Has some hardware from curtains and shades yet was inside a stairwell out of the sun. Has one piece of trim missing on right side of bottom window. All windows are real glass. Frame is included if you like, it had only a few nails that I cut from the side so no digs in the frame from pulling out the nails. I'm listing this as pick-up only but if you want to send a shipper, like U-Ship to pick it up, no problem. Thanks
