Description This is an exceptional set of doors that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They are made of pine with chippy paint. The glass is a clear with different textures and a great design. Each door has approx 142 jewels! They were originally standard double entrance doors. At some point the knobs were removed and holes were patched. The then installed double action hinges to swing back and forth. Push bars were added at the same time as those hinges. They each measure 27 inches wide by 89 tall and are almost 2 inches thick. Each glass panel is 16 inches wide by 76.5 tall. Overall they are in very good condition. Penn Antique Restoration. 60"x 95" Pair Antique Exterior Oak Doors w/ Large Glass Lites. Gorgeous pair of antique. Exterior doors, salvaged from a historic home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each door is made of solid oak and has 1 large glass lite. If you are wondering why the doors are so thick: they are made of"double laminate" construction. Which is essentially 2 doors put together to form 1 door. This not only makes the doors stronger, and more secure, but also, better for insulation and increases their resistance towards warping. The beautiful decorative pattern on the glass is not actually etched but contact paper. Hardware: The doors are currently not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store and tons more in our physical store. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of pine and is painted on both sides. The top of each has a panel of distorted Florentine Glass. There are no cracks on the glass. There are 3 raised panels below each glass. The fronts and backs look the same. Most of the hardware needs to be replaced. One escutcheon is missing. It measures 46 inches wide by 83.25 inches tall and is 1.75 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good scrubbing but will clean up nicely. The doors were trimmed and are a bit out of square. Please look at the pictures carefully. ~ ORNATE ANTIQUE DOUBLE ENTRANCE FRENCH DOORS ~ 50 x 83 ~ ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
Description This is a beautiful piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. I am unsure of the wood but I think maybe maple? They are painted white on the front and faux grain painted on the inside. They have very ornate fronts with shelves above and below the beveled glass and fluted pilasters to the sides. There is a raised panel at the bottom surrounded by raised moldings. Backs are less ornate. There are ornate brass doorknobs and the back plates are intact. All of the other hardware will need to be replaced. It measures 49.5 inches wide by 82.75 inches tall and is 1.75 inches deep. Overall. It is in good condition.
