Antique Primitive Repousse Wood Doors ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
Two oak cabinet door panels salvaged from building in North East by collector when he was a child. Each measures approximately 14" x 15 1/2" There is some evidence of a mirror or glass that was in one of the doors. Minor pieces of carved detail missing. Each door weighs just a few lbs. HEAVY CARVED POLYCHROME SOLID WOOD SET ANTIQUE CHINESE DOORS GATE FRAME CORBELS
Talk about an unusual Charleston estate auction find. here is an incredible heavy carved polychrome solid wood Chinese door or heavy gate with a cross beam and side beam frame as well as the heavy raised panel doors with all their original iron fittings. This is an old Chinese door and is extremely heavy as well as somewhat primitive on the unfinished sides of the beams. The polychrome paint is quite worn but is still quite evident and adds so much character to an already gorgeous detailed yet functional heavy door. I have included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design. Quality, condition and overall beauty of this delightful antique door. Unfotunately I do not know any additional provenance on the door or have any definitive explanation as to how it arrived in our fair city, though with it being a port ... morecity and with the sheer size and weight, my guess is whenever it came to the US, it was most assuredly by boat long ago. The standing door frame itself is 78 inches tall by 68 inches wide at it's widest points. At beams which extend and is constructed of huge beams 4 1/2 inches wide.The inside doorway entrance(inside the standing frame) is 63 1/2 inches tall and 39 1/4 inches wide, with a bottom crossbeam one would have to step over to enter. In addition there is a large crossbeam I believe goes overhead, hooking into the corbels, 68 inches long by 8 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches thick. There are also two side beams each 73 1/4 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches thick and the two corbels, carved from blocks roughly 21 1/2 inches by 12 inches by 8 inches. The two raised panels doors, which shut from behind the door frame, are 74 1/2 inches tall and very heavy, ready for locking out the enemy. Again, this buy-it-now is for ONE door. Most of the woodwork in my house, including the floors, is pine, so I'm assuming these doors are pine. Beautiful scalloped carving surrounding the glass. One door has a significant chip on the top inside corner, shown in one photograph. Otherwise, minor nicks and scratches, overall in good shape. I believe if you stripped these, patched and finished, they will look beautiful. And the original wavy glass is gorgeous. The doors are not perfectly square, so I will give the range of measurements. Vintage Wood Door Front Frame with Double Doors This old doorfront was from a church. Possibly a cabinet or housing for a section of antique pipe organ. The pine doors open and close, with small metal hinges. The whole unit weighs about 40 lbs. or so. Measures: 69 1/2" high. 39" wide. The doorfront is supported by a frame of 8" boards across top and bottom, and along one side. This is apparent in the photos. Many great uses for this doorfront for your own project. Antique Gothic Glass Panel Church Doors Offered here is this Antique Double Gothic Church Door with vintage glass panels. This door came from a small town in South/Central Texas and was a salvaged purchase. It is Gothic to Renaissance in style and will need to be refurbished since the wood has some scratches. Nicks and miscellaneous small repairs on them. The glass looks to be 1940’s or older with four panels replaced by a different style of glass. These four replaced pieces of glass panels have a starburst/snowflake type pattern while the remainder has a mottled goose-bump style. There are 30 glass panels in total on the two doors. It measures: 68”W x 7’T. A finish carpenter would have to make them conform to your city’s code ordinances as well as bring out the true beauty of these unique doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made ... moreof. But most likely its mahogany. With a little elbow grease these doors could be brought back to their former glory and history. This is a group of antique farmhouse doors all from the same property with varying styles and sizes. All but one of the doors are interior doors with the exception of one as described below. All of the hinges have either been removed or are no longer usable. Some of the original hardware is still intact and in working order. Antique VTG 1800s Wood Saloon Push doors Victorian 19th C Architectural Salvage
Here are two Swinging Saloon style Doors. Doors are 48 tall x 32.5 wide a piece. I found them together in a very old building in baltimore city. They were swinging on spring like hinges. This would go great in a bar or saloon like building. There are a few shades of paint and really old carvings in the doors like names and such. They are solid and would also look great sanded and restained. I will ship both together. It is hard to find a matching set! Please ask any questions you have. Antique 32" by 81" Interior Solid Wood Recessed Panel Doors. 5 of them.
Circa 1900. All from the same house, I have five, recessed panel doors. Very nice condition, painted. I do not know the wood species, these may be heartpine or fir if I had to guess. They are not all the same dimensions, minor variations. I have a couple closet doors too. These have some of the original hardware, but no doorknobs. Not all of the doors are pictured. Pickup only.

Pulled from a 90 year old house. These doors are super heavy and contain the original door hardware. I kept these thinking I was going to re-use in the house I completely gutted and rehabbed but decided not to use. The doors are what you expect for Doors that are 90 year old. Great craftsmanship. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. 4 Antique 5 Panel Solid Wood Doors Vintage w/ Original Antique Hardware & Knobs
4 solid wood 5 panel vintage doors with original hardware and knobs.They came from a historical home in Wagoner. Oklahoma. All are in good condition and could be refinished. Are joined together to make a room divider but come apart easily. Two measure 79 1/2" tall and 32" wide, One measures 78 3/4" tall and 31 3/4" wide and One measures 79 1/2" tall and 23" wide. The smallest door is a swinging door. It does have a cut out at the bottom where the hardware was to attach it to the floor. It also has a hole in the top edge of the door for the pin that held the top in place. It is missing it's hardware accept the doorknob plate.
