You are viewing a wonderful piece of architectural history salvaged from a Burlington. Iowa home. Circa 1880's pine entry door with top half depicting an etched Stagg. The etching is raised on one side. The other side of the door has been painted white, which will be left to the new owner to do what they want. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The fronts and backs are the same. There are 4 raised panels with heavy moldings. It has most of the hardware including ornate iron hines with steeple pins. It measures 33.75 inches by 81 inches by 1.5. Door 2 is pretty much the same. Only one side has the heavy moldings. There is 1 steeple pin missing. It is 33.5 x 81.5 x 1.5. Your bid buys both. Antique Matching Set of 3 Large 4" x 4" Victorian Brass Plated Cast Iron Hinges
Up For Auction A Matching Set of Three 4" x 4" Hinges(auction is for the set of 3) Brass Plated Cast-Iron beautiful restored condition Cleaned. Polished, and sealed. These hinges have no looseness, or play in them when they are opened. A high quality set of hinges that have not been abused. A couple of areas the brass plating was thin so the iron shows through, these areas polished up nicely so they appear shiny silver, not noticeable as they blend in with the shiny brass as seen in the photos. The pins come out with a little effort(by hand) as they fit tightly, the other ball knob on the other end of the hinge unscrews out. The came out of a really old farmhouse off the front door, after removing several heavy coats of paint the brass was revealed! The black background on the hinges show the brass detailing even better.

You are bidding on a pair of Victorian Sear's built exterior and screen door in original condition. They were salvaged from a sears built farmhouse torn down in the 70's and have been stored since. The front exterior door measures 84" tall x 32" wide. It has all the original hardware including the original hand turn door bell in great working condition. It has never been painted just stained. You can see in the pics where part of the decoration was removed to install the door bell. The screen door measures 85" tall x 32 1/4" wide. The original rusty spring hinges still work but will need to be replaced. One of the center 8" spindles is broken. It is complete. Just needs a re glue. The brown paint is faded and it looks like it was only painted twice. A great opportunity to own both! They have been together ... morefor over 100 years! Fire Door was removed from the old Stockport School in Stockport Ohio. The School was built in 1905. This door is 2 3/8" thick. 88" tall. 44" wide. The Strap hinges attached to the door are 3/8" thick 2 1/2" wide and 36" long. There are several coats of paint that cover the embossed label. Also has an Underwriter Laboratories tag. Each door has a solid pine core covered with 1/4" thick red oak veneers. Please don't think"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern furniture to disguise the inferior materials underneath; these veneers are very thick and help strengthen and stabilize the door. As well as protect it against warping. Solid oak doors would've warped a long time ago. The doors have 6 panels on each side: 2 square on top. 2 long, rectangular in the middle, and 2 square on bottom. DESCRIPTION: Imported from Java. This beautiful three piece Garden Gate is entirely hand hewn from rare dense teakwood. The artful detailing at the top of each piece includes intricate horse head carvings. The center panel measures 62" wide by 95" tall with removable doors. The door hinges are missing and there is some damage to the base of the center piece. see photos) The door in the center panel measurement is 50" wide by 69" tall. The center panel( and tallest of the three) is approximately 30" taller than the side units. Each side panel(two shorter panels) measures 43" wide by 66" tall. Side panels have wheels on the bottom. I have had these doors for over 20 years stored in my heated garage. Planed on using this unique set of doors in my home but my remodeling projects never allowed me to use them in a location where they could be viewed properly& appreciated. Looking at the wood grain. I believe they are oak… Glass panels are in Very Good condition- No Chips. No Cracks, No pieces missing. There is NO putty or glazing around the Glass Panels. Glass panels are firmly& solidly attached with wood trim around each piece. There are No rattles or loose glass panels. Glass Panels are a Frosted Snowflake design. It provides privacy& allowslight to shine through. Door are in Very Good Condition- There are NO… Cracks. Chips, or Pieces of wood missing on either door& there is NO dry rot or decay. Doors are already pre-notch for hinges… 3 notches on each ... moredoor. Top/ Middle/ Bottom. Each door is 24 inches wide…however when they are closed the overall width is 47.50 inches. This is due to a rabbit that is cut into one door to allow for proper/ normal/ overlap closing. The Height of each door is 95.50 inches. Each door is 1.75 inches thick. Each Snowflake Glass panel is 15inches tall and 9 inches wide. These are Heavy doors… Each door weighs 50 lbs. Handles are Brass…They do need a good cleaning. On one door there are two brass handles which operate the pivot locking devices at the top and bottom. When you turn the top handle a square metal bar approximately ¼ inch thick will rise out of the top of the door and would go into a hole that you would have drilled into your wood frame. This is a beautiful door! We are currently redoing the outside of our home. The hardware and paint is only a few years old. It is ready to be picked up. The bottom has a fairly new brass kick plate on it. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHOOT ME A REASONABLE OFFER. I will glady consider all of them. Thank you! On the other hand this would also be an absolutely gorgeous piece to make a frame for just the glass and display it. I hate to get rid of it. But unfortunately I do not have room or a use for it. Achectectural Oak, Pine, Mahogany Antique Doors With Brass Hardware
What a find! I have 15 archetectural antique doors with all the original hardware! All hinges. Bolts, doorknobs and both sides of hinges. Most are heartpine, some are oak. Most are 36 x 79. Two are 27, two are 29, one 30 and one 31 wide. One front door(pictured with lockbox) is 48 x 79. There is one magnificent slider, again, complete with sliding mechanism and the most beautiful hammered brass handle. These are amazing doors. Prices vary by size. The $100.00 is for smallest door.
