Frame has tight fit wood joint at angle and I can see the 90 degree"wagon wheel" center piece was nailed to frame originally. Frame together measures 12" x 10" on outside edge and frame measures 1-1/8" square. In very good antique condition. Has few small gauges/chips when it was taken apart. Antique Terracotta Corbel From Antebellum Plantation Home, Natchitoches, La
This terracotta corbel came out of a south Texas estate sale. The family member conducting the sale stated that her parents originally hailed from Tennessee but that. In the 1970s, her father, a librarian, accepted a position in Natchitoches, Louisiana and moved the family there. A compulsive collector, he salvaged this corbel, along with several other pieces, from a crumbling antebellum home in Natchitoches. When he later accepted an offer from our local south Texas university, his salvaged treasures came along. The piece offered here measures roughly 12" x 10" x 7" and weighs slightly over five pounds. Please look at the pictures- you will see that the corbel has some damage in the form of chips. Flaky paint, and cracks. None of the cracks run entirely through the piece, but the one on the bottom should probably be stabilized ... morewith glue or some other agent. The corbel will be carefully packed to avoid further aggravation to the cracks. However. Some additional paint chipping while in transit is inevitable. Shipping via USPS Standard Post will be $14.00. These are all matching solid wood carved corbels with their original paint. Great depth in the carving. For sale in this auction is a pair of porch brackets or porch corbels for decoration next to a porch post. These are off of a 100 year old house porch that was being torn down. They are made out of wood and most of the paint is gone. They measure approximately 14 inches long on the longest side and 12 inches long on the other side. They are approximately 3 1/4 inches wide on the back side. The tallest part of the decoration measures approximately five and half inches tall. They do have wear. Some cracking, lots of cobwebs and one corner has damage more than the rest. I tried to show that in the pictures. Corbels, Enkebol, Lot of 3, 2-Large Leaf and 1-Smaller Acanthus, Pre Stained
Lot of 3 corbels stamped Enkebol on the back. Color is what I would call a nutmeg. But do not expect to match them exactly with anything as there are thousands of stain combinations. I believe them to be cherry or maple. It is hard to be sure with the stain applied. The smaller corbel is an acanthus style, and is 9-1/2" tall x 4-3/4"wide x 3-5/8" deep and is a little darker that the other two. The two larger corbels are leaf style, and are 13" tall x 3-5/8" wide x 8-1/2" deep. all are in nice condition, but do have a few tint scuffs and dings.

Antique Architectural Item, Carved Wood Wall Light Bracket Sconce Arm in Gold
Antique Carved Wood Architectural Piece. Wall Sconce Up for your consideration is this nice antique wood wall sconce or light bracket/arm. Gold or gilt in color. Has a wall base with an arm extending from the base with a carved laurel detail, could have been an electrified piece at one time with a threaded metal tubing opening at the back and at the top of the extended piece, there is a small piece taken out of the base(see pic) and it has a crack at the inside of the arm close to the base that is cracked through but still intact although it is loose. Not sure if it is staying in place because of the metal tubing inside or it is has been pinned but I would reinforce it somehow if you use it to hold anything. Antique Wood Hand Carved Bearded Man/Knight Corbel/Shelf
A stunning hand carved antique corbel featuring the face of a bearded man. His headwear suggests he might be a knight or a saint(given that he's wearing a visor) and perhaps this corbel comes from a church. The origin is unknown. Corbel was removed from its original position and attached with a wire in the back to be hung up on a wall. Presumably 1800s. Item is in good condition for its age- the wood has expanded over time in some places causing some cracks and there is a chipping on the nose as well as above the face. Pair 19C Carved Plaster / Chalk Swans Wall Brackets Shelf Corbel Vintage Antique
Graceful lines. Flowers and swans adorn these mid-19 th century corbel shelves. We think they are plaster. But they could be chalk. They are very nicely carved, very heavy, and very dirty. The shelves are about 7.5" high. 7.75" wide, and 4.5" deep. There is a hanging hook on the back of each one. They are in very good vintage condition. One of them had a little red something on it. We rubbed it very lightly with a wet towel, and most of it came off, so we think it will clean completely. Roof brackets Craftsman Style under-eave brace supports, 4" x 6" clear fir
Two(matched pair) right-triangle“knee brace” under-eave supports. Clear grained fir. Timber is new, straight, and thoroughly seasoned. Long piece(the vertical piece, that goes against the wall of the house) is 40 inches. Horizontal piece(for under the eave) is 31-3/4 inches. Diagonal piece with bevel-cut ends is 36-1/2 inches. Could easily be re-sized. Presently stained a dark red, and varnished with polyurethane(color could easily be changed, or could be painted) Boards have never been joined, so no fastener holes. Denver pickup recommended(six pieces weigh about 88 lbs. but would ship if desired.

Pair Vintage Victorian Wood Gable Corbels Circa 1870 Gingerbread Brackets
Architectual Salvage Victorian Wood Unique Gable Corbels Circa 1870. Corbels were removed from our home last fall during a renovation. The house was built late 1860's early 1870's. You will recieve the pair shown in photos. Corbels are weathered and may have chipped paint. Cracks here and there, some areas may be missing a little wood. I show size using tape measure in last photos. Measurements are approx. as the corbels are handcrafted and all are unique. Please look at the photos as always the best way to describe an item. I will try and keep paint as is, covering with paper first before additional packaging for shipping. Some paint chips may come off before you recieve, this is beyond my control. I can not control shipping delays or how a package is handled after the item is dropped off at the post office.
