I was planning on using these on my front porch but went with a totally different design scheme. Here you have six corbels that were handmade and found at an estate sale. They are made of wood. A soft wood, not sure what kind. They would need a good coating of stain/primer and painted. or leave unfinished. I really love the design on these, a really nice pattern. It would look great for shelving but would need some material to fatten them up a little. Size are all the same and pattern is the same. long 16 inches and 3/8th tall 10 inches depth 1/2 inch thick shipping is going to be 20$ flat fee shipping US only. Not quite sure how old they are other than they have been around and are certainly not new. the size is*approximate 21 5/8" tall by 13 1/2" deep the bottom depth part at 8" and they are 2 3/4" wide thick. Little over 21 1/2" They are in vintage condition and are not all intact! Unique Pair of Brackets or Corbels or Finials Carved Wood
This pair of wooden ornamentation doesn't fall into any specific category such as finial. Corbel, pediment, etc. The 2 pieces match somewhat and as seen in the photo there is some variation in the color. There are some chips and scratches. Having said all that, I think they make a marvelous arch shape when positioned back to back. I think some of my more creative repurpose buyers will certainly find a decorative use for such unique items. Hello and thanks for viewing my listing! Today I have listed a pair of solid wood antique corbels from a home which was built in the 1880's. They measure 11 1/2" x 6" x 5 1/4" each. Made of five blocks of wood measuring 6" wide. They are very solid with chippy white paint as expected for their age. The chippy paint adds to their charm and appeal! These are very nice brackets with large scrolls at the top; great for bookends or a shelf! Wonderful pieces for a cottage or just creating that shabby chic look that's so popular today! Vintage Carved Wood corner window treatment shabby brackets door curtain or bed
One Pair of old wood carved or molded brackets each is 20" long x 11.25" down on sides. 2.50" return. These do have imperfections. Please see pictures. You can peel off the old brocade circle fabric and glue your own in. You can have them touch in center or split apart. They can be Victorian looking if put in a hallway to the velvet drawn sitting room Or they can be painted off white and used in a girls bedroom or at the head of her bed. Very sweet! Pr Venetian Italian Figural Gilt-wood Brackets One of A Kind !!! Bel-Air Estate
Here I present to you a one of a kind treasure. Fresh from a grand Bel-Air Estate. These Venetian Italian wall shelves are grand& elegant. They are hand carved with a figural Rococo motif. On one side you have the female and the other a male. The exact age is unknown but they have been in the same house for over 80 years. I was told the mother of the estate purchased these while on a Grand Tour visit of Europe. At the time purchased antique. I have never seen a set like this& you most likely will never again. They are large at aprox 23 inches wide at back. Aprox 13 inches deep& 18 1/2 inches high( largest size) The come to you in very displayable condition. As you can see the left shelf is missing the center design. There has been sections of the carvings glued over the many years.
