I was planning on using these on my front porch but went with a totally different design scheme. Here you have six corbels that were handmade and found at an estate sale. They are made of wood. A soft wood, not sure what kind. They would need a good coating of stain/primer and painted. or leave unfinished. I really love the design on these, a really nice pattern. It would look great for shelving but would need some material to fatten them up a little. Size are all the same and pattern is the same. long 16 inches and 3/8th tall 10 inches depth 1/2 inch thick shipping is going to be 20$ flat fee shipping US only. A wonderful pair of matching antique wooden Victorian corbels. Or gingerbread as some call it. These were salvaged from New Bedford, Massachusetts. These have original paint and patina. They measure approximately 15 1/2" x 12" and are 2 1/4" thick. One has a little damage to the top. Which any carpenter or woodworker can round off, do the same to the other, and make them both match exactly. The other one has a bit of a chunk out of the bottom, near the side, which can easily be filled. See all photos. These are substantially weighty pieces- the real deal. Coming to you original. As is and unrestored. Can be used as is or stripped and re-used. They are fabulous!

Here are two gorgeous examples of Victorian wood trim in beautiful condition. I am no expert on antiques or architectural salvage. But I did a little research and hope I am using the right terminology. These have been at my parents' home for years if not decades. I grew up in an old house in the 1960s and they may have intended to put them on it, but never did, so they've been safely inside all this time. It's time someone put them to use as shelf brackets, book ends, decorative trim or whatever you can dream up! They measure 14" x 12" and are about 1" wide. Pair Vintage Victorian Wood Corbels Circa 1890 Gingerbread Brackets
This auction is for a pair of corbels. These corbels came off our Victorian style home about 5 years ago during a renovation. I had fully intended to put these back on our home but due to sickness was never able to do so. The home was built late 1880's- early 1890's. Corbels are weathered and may have chipped paint. Cracks here and there, some areas may be missing a little wood and a number of them have old termite damage on the end. The corbels measure 18-3/4” Long by 12” High by 4-1/8” wide. Size is approx. as the corbels are hand crafted and all are unique. I have taken pictures of a single corbel. A pair, and several pictures of them in a stack. Please check out all photos as that is the best way to get a good idea of the corbels. You will receive a pair of corbels from the stack of corbels shown in the photos. This lot is a group of four old gingerbread porch brackets. Each one measures about 12" on the long side and 10" on the short side. By a little over 1-1/4" thick. I have photographed both sides of all four brackets. As you can see, there's dirt, dust, cobwebs, nail holes, and some chipped out areas, but all of the brackets are usable. One acorn is missing. Should be easy to make. Everything else is easily repairable with some putty& paint. None of them has ever been painted. You get all four pieces for one bid!
