Each is done to perfection having hand carved arches at each base and at center having the four clover open carvings. at upper is where one would place a statue or perhaps something you treasure. They could be hung on any wall or perhaps you care to place on the floor as showed in photo. They would be outstanding with statues displayed on each. The center of each has an added hand carved base finial which is filled with carvings as well. These are truly gorgeous and I had them all hand polished professionally as I thought about keeping them myself however. I decided to sell them ... moreinstead. In addition each having a surrounded upper wood crown to keep something from falling off. Vintage pair of solid wood large hand carved corbels. Wall brackets, or shelves featuring grapes and leaves. Brackets have hangers on the back side for hanging as shown in last picture. These could also be used for supporting a shelf or as decorative bookends. They are in very good used vintage condition. The only visible signs of wear, light scratches, are to the top of the shelves. As with most woods, there are lighter and darker shades running through the wood grain. This is a stunning set of solid silver-toned bronze industrial wall mount shelf brackets. they are made from thick heavy bronze. Are heavy pieces, and have great industrial look. they mount flush to the wall and have grooves to hold a flat surface. it can hold a piece as long as desired but would have to fit the width of the bracket. any material can be used and cut to size…glass. Pair Large Antique Heavy Plaster Corbels Wall Shelf 19th c 17"x14"x14"
Pair Large Antique Heavy Plaster Corbels Wall Shelf 19th c 17"x14"x14" Good vintage condition. They have been painted over. There are a couple areas that have minor damage such as a cracked corner. A chipped front edge and a hole in the deep recess of one of the leaves. All of which can easily be repaired if so desired. Both corbels are marked with a large"14" on top which is likely a size mark being that they are 17" wide x 14" tall x 14" deep. One corbel is marked"J" on top with"SJ" inside. The other is marked"A" on top with"SA" inside. These corbels were purchased 12 years ago from an antiques house in Ireland. I believe they are from ireland or England. Due to the size and weight of these items. we will only ship to the lower 48 US states. Sorry. No PO boxes.

Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of pine and is currently painted. The shelf has curved ends and is supported by two ornate corbels. The backboard has a bevel along the bottom. It measures 30 inches wide by 9.5 inches tall and is 6.75 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The backboard has a light crack. Please look at the pictures carefully.
