Individually carved by a wood carver many moons ago.These are the real deal and are signed. Corbels have have been meticulously hand made from Butternut so each will have it's own character and originality. It has very little tendency to warp. Crack or shrink like other hardwoods, and is one of the most environmentally friendly wood species. The Butter nut wood was the go to wood for churches and fancy wood interiors of days gone by.It carves beautifully and promotes a perfect detail.These have been painted some time in the past but can be repainted or stripped bare.These would make excellent shelf support in a kitchen. 3 ANTIQUE CORBELS VICTORIAN HOUSE SALVAGE SHELF BRACKET FIREPLACE MANTLE
LARGE OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE PAINTED CORBELS I have several old antique items to sell at my folks old house that I thought would best be liquidated here on Ebay. Beautiful old corbels. These were very carefully taken off the house a couple months ago and are in really great condition for the age. Pieces are solid and not in a decaying or crumbly state. All are matching off the same house etc. but each corbel is unique with typical wear that would be naturally indigenous to this period and use on the house. They are easy to plaster before painting to reconstruct. Fill in any damage, or cover nail holes. There is a chunk missing as pictured in the front on the one rounded part. THEY MEASURES: About 26 inches tall. 14" deep, and 3" WIDE The flat rate shipping is for the lower 48 states. Pick up at our home is free if buyer wishes.
