Description This is a beautiful lot that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. They were originally parts to a built in armoire. The pair of tall brackets have great shape and finials at the top. They are made of oak with alligator-ed paint. Each is 37.5 inches tall with 2.5 wide and 2.25 inches deep. The small set has Eastlake Spoon Carvings and carved finials. They are made of walnut and are currently painted. Each is 20.5 inches tall. 2 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall. Your bid buys the lot. Overall. They are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning but will clean up nicely. Please look at the pictures carefully. 2 Antique Architectural Salvage Wooden Porch Brackets Corbels for Porch Posts
For sale in this auction is a pair of porch brackets or porch corbels for decoration next to a porch post. These are off of a 100 year old house porch that was being torn down. They are made out of wood and most of the paint is gone. They measure approximately 14 inches long on the longest side and 12 inches long on the other side. They are approximately 3 1/4 inches wide on the back side. The tallest part of the decoration measures approximately five and half inches tall. They do have wear. Some cracking, lots of cobwebs and one corner has damage more than the rest. I tried to show that in the pictures. Hello and thanks for viewing my listing! Today I have listed a pair of solid wood antique corbels from a home which was built in the 1880's. They measure 11 1/2" x 6" x 5 1/4" each. Made of five blocks of wood measuring 6" wide. They are very solid with chippy white paint as expected for their age. The chippy paint adds to their charm and appeal! These are very nice brackets with large scrolls at the top; great for bookends or a shelf! Wonderful pieces for a cottage or just creating that shabby chic look that's so popular today! Wonderful matching pair of antique wooden corbels. They are coated in old. Green paint that is a little chippy. Each corbel measures 18 inches long, 11 1/8 inches deep and 3 1/2 inches wide. These have good detailing and curves. The tops are perfectly flat and ready to serve as a base for a shelf, etc. Also, the corbels have mounting brackets already attached to the backs. The necessary screws will be sent along with the corbel pair.
