Up for bid are two Antique Steel Corbel Brackets that were found in a house that was being remodeled. The house dated from 1892 so these could be from that period forward. The photos show the corbels to be pink in color. However they are off white in color. These corbels are made of steel and are hollow. There is only slight surface rust here and there on the corbels; no holes from rust nor none starting. They would clean up quite well with some paint stripping material applied. These would make a great addition to a historical remodeling project or just simply a great conversation piece if added to an interior decorating project. Set of 2 Two Vintage Antique Architectural Gold Paint Plaster Corbels Brackets !
Hi: For your consideration here is a nice set of two(2) vintage or antique sconces or brackets! These medium to large size pieces measure a bit over 8 1/4" from the top of the shelf to the bottom tip. And the surface area of the shelf top is about 9 3/8" wide by 4 1/2" deep which is the maximum depth they would stick out from a wall when mounted. The pieces weigh close to two pounds each unpacked. They are made of what appears to be white plaster or a similar material and the gold finish looks similar to gilders paste/paint. There is a small wire rod in the plaster with a twisted piece of wire on the back of each for hanging. Both are in good condition with no major loss or cracks. Both have light to dark spots or areas in the top shelf part(3rd photo from last) and the other has several small chips and related finish loss. ... moreThe'worst' chipped area is shown in the last photo but there is nothing that could not easily be touched up. Incredible Vintage Antique Solid Wood Handcarved Corbel Birds Intricate Ornate
Here is an incredible vintage/antique solid wood handcarved corbel with some very intricate and ornate detail. There are various types of birds that are carved within the detail of this corbel. Along with many other designs. The corbel is quite large and stands about 27" tall. It is about 11" at its widest, and 4- 5" deep. The corbel is mounted on a very heavy steel base and does lift off the base. The base measures about 11 1/2 by 12" and weighs about 20 lbs. The wood carving itself weighs around 16 lbs. This is just a really beautiful and unique piece. I have not seen any like it listed on ebay. I don't know the actual age of this item, only that it shows signs of age. Anything that looks like damage in the photos is not breakage but purposeful design elements to add age. Corbels are 13" long and depth is 8" from the wall. This is a neat pair of large old architectural wood pieces. They feature great shapes with nice old white chippy paint. The 2 sides are approx 14 1/4" and 11 1/4" They are approx 4" wide including the trim edge. They are in salvaged condition as shown. Never a reserve so have fun! CORBELS WALL SHELVES Acquired at an estate sale is this set of wall shelves. I believe they are made of plaster. The color is antique white or cream color(not the cream you would put in coffee. Believe it or not I have had people question this before) Each one measures 7 ½ inches tall. 10 ½ inches long and 6 ¼ inches from the back to the front. There are no hallmarks as to the maker. Age, country or region of origin, etc… There are two thick wire rods in both to hang or mount them. Mounting hardware is not included. Each one weighs over 4 pounds! It measures 12 1/2" 7 1/2" on the top by 14" tall. It has 2 wires on the back for wall mounting. It has nice detailing to the casting. It is painted in a bronzed or gilded color it weighs about 8 pounds before packing. There is some wear to the paint and a couple small chips on the back but otherwise it is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Nice decorative pair Victorian corbels or roof brackets. They have old chippy white paint and a drop finial. These were salvaged from a home in upstate New York. They will have nails. Nail holes, and dirt on them. There may be cracks, splits, and old repairs hidden under the old paint. There is a couple of small chunks out of the wood. A pair of large. Vintage, antique wood corbels or shelf brackets. The corbels are made of pine, and are quite large. They measure 11 3/4 inches long, 9 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches thick. They are in good vintage condition, with several age-related splits in the wood, some paint residue along edges, and some nicks and scratches conducive with age. The age of the corbels is not known, but there are tiny antique nails near the top of each corbel. The corbels are in"as found" condition, which adds some rustic charm to each piece. A pair of lovely wooden corbels that will compliment your vintage home.

Pair 19C Carved Plaster / Chalk Swans Wall Brackets Shelf Corbel Vintage Antique
Graceful lines. Flowers and swans adorn these mid-19 th century corbel shelves. We think they are plaster. But they could be chalk. They are very nicely carved, very heavy, and very dirty. The shelves are about 7.5" high. 7.75" wide, and 4.5" deep. There is a hanging hook on the back of each one. They are in very good vintage condition. One of them had a little red something on it. We rubbed it very lightly with a wet towel, and most of it came off, so we think it will clean completely. There are also a few small age-appropriate scrapes on the top of the shelves, and one small chip- see the last picture. Please see the pictures. The CK details: We go to auctions in spurts. Antique ornate 2 Vintage IRON CHIC SHABBY Island CORBEL shelf BRACKET Pair Large
Up for auction are this pair of great old antique bracket's. Made of iron. They are large measuring 15 3/8"x 15 3/8" x 1. One is about 3/8"1/2" shorter due to the tip doesn't look like it was drilled and has a little angle to it. The other has one piece of the curly turn broken offing the inside of the turned area. SEE PICS. They weigh almost 5 lbs each. Brackets do have holes for mounting.Still has all it's original rust with some minor white paint left.
