THE DECORATION AROUND THE COAT IS MADE BY DOZENS OF LITTLE LIGHT TAPS TO MAKE LITTLE CHIPS IN THE SURFACE OF THE STONE. Standing about 4 1/4" this little figure is in reasonably good order. Minor surface rubs but certainly nothing to detract from a charming piece, I have termed this as hard stone but possibly green soapstone, I am no expert.Nice item.
