The problem was with the coil. I sent the detector to the manufacture for coil replacement. They did replace the coil but they also noticed a tiny crack in the corner of the battery side earcup. I do not feel it would be hard to repair this crack with some Oatey All Purpose Cement for ABS. CPVC, PVC. However, I am selling the detector as is. You could use the detector like you would the Detector Pro Wader'AS IS. or you could do some glue work. The volume control allows you to adjust to your comfort level. But if you have a hearing problem, turn the volume up and you WILL hear this detector! I have several deaf friends who can hear this detector model! The face of the clock is numbered in Roman numerals and has decorative hands. The movement is of the finest German quality. Made from solid Brass metal. Marked German, and operated by a carved Leaf pendulum that swings back and forth below. The movement is powered by two metal pine cone shaped wei ght s that hang on brass chains. A wonderful Ancient Phase 6 Nazca Earthenware beaker. Dating to approximately 250- 540 A.D. A charming. Tall cylindrical vessel with rounded base and subtly everted mouth. Profusely decorated with painted images in five horizontal bands. Showing a series of conjoined female heads with oval/rectangular mouths, almond shaped eyes and braided sections of hair. The rest of the vase is adorned with colourful geometric patterns. Painted in red, grey, orange, brown and white. The ancient Nazca culture. Located on the Southern coast of Peru, existed from 370 B.C. through to 540 A.D. The period saw much development of the arts, perhaps most notably in the area of slip painting, as is evidenced in this piece. This is an auction for an old antique/vintage Kachin sword and scabbard/ rig. This is from Northern Burma. Land of the headhunters. This is a headhunter sword. Ask the Japanese soldiers who fought the Kachin fighters who along with the OSS(pre-CIA) circa early 1940's in Burma)The Kachin wreaked havoic on the Japanese during WW2. Look at the Kachin flag. It has 2 of these swords crossed as a symbol of these people. The entire rig and sword is 32 1/2 inches long. The blade is 17 3/4's inches long. The handle is 6 1/4's inches long for a total of 24 inches. The end of the sword is not broken. This is the style. The woven band is very fine weaving.The back of the scabbard is a painted vermillion red. This is an interesting old ethnographic piece of headhunter gear.
