Hair pins or barretts are plastic most likely could be bakelite. Small white one for sure is plastic. Steel hook is most likely a simple shoe button hook(almost threw it away) circa 1900-1940. It measures 7/8” long and 7/8” wide. The second is gold filled with a blue faceted glass stone in the center of a flower. Two leaves spread out to the sides. It measures 1 1/8” long. It has a C clasp. There is wear to the gold filling and light scratches on the blue glass stone. The frame is slightly bent. The third pin is a woven human hair pin. The hair is wrapped around a small frame that is topped by two hearts. It measures 11/16” high and 5/8” wide. The clasp has broken off and there appears to have been something else that broke off from the center of the frame. The fourth piece is a white metal lapel or hat pin with rhinestones. It measures 2 1/4” long.

Antique bronze West African Bronze hair pins collection
On offer I have a collection of 13 beautiful antique bronze hair pins which were aquired in burkina faso in the 1960's. But are much older than that judging from the patina which they have developed over time and handling. They are all different from each other and probably cast using the wax method which destroys the cast and makes each item especially unique. I have many more items from Africa on my page. 3 Vintage Antique Hat Pins Stick Pins hair vanity metal brass clip unique old
Not exactly sure what these are. I was thinking that 2 were hat pins and one more of hair pin. But then again maybe they are all hat pins. There is one with real light blue end, little wear and discoloring and about 3 1/4 inches long. There is one with small red end, little wear which is 2 7/8 inches high. The last one is two pronged one end little longer than the other by design I think, little greening in couple spots so maybe this is brass or something, also has thin chain attached, clip is there but seems a little balky on the other end. The main part is about 2 3/4 inches long. This would be a fascinating of lot of 3 vintage or antique hat pins. Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous lot of antique Chinese accessories! This is a unique type of jewelry made with bright blue feathers. One pin(upper left) appears to have been converted to a pin from some other type of jewelry. The bottom pendant has a glass covered compartment on the front that is empty. And I don't know how to open it. Pieces range in size to max of 3" wide. The condition is good considering the age and the fact that these are made out of feathers. Very bright blue and unusual. This Bracelet has a lovely engraved Butterfly and Floral Motif against a textured background with a two-dimensional design and a plain border. Parts of the front appear to have some Rose Gold in the design. It measures 6"around on the inside and 7 1/4"on the outside. It has an elegant elongated oval shape. This exquisite hinged bracelet is in excellent condition with no damage however. It is missing the safety chain. The lock is very safe and secure. Hair Woven Watch Chain- A lovely Antique Watch chain mad with intricately woven Human Hair. Hair jewelry was very popular in the Victorian period(mid 1800s) many were articles of mourning. This watch chain has gold-filled ends that are engraved and decorated. A very detailed watch fob dangles from the band it appears to be some type of architectural structure. Length of tip to tip is 12 inches. The watch chain is in excellent condition. Victorian Bar Pin- This is an antique Gold Filled Black Enamel Bar Pin. The enamel is taille d'epargne which is also known as black enamel tracery. It has a very ornate metal design. It measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 3/4 inches. It has the trombone type clasp. Most likely Late Victorian. Victorian Locket- Pretty little roll gold Victorian Locket from the late 1800's. These are 4 beautiful kanzashi or hair pins that I purchased years ago at an antique store in Japan. There are 3 lovely pins with coral( balls on the end. There is some wear, some worn spots showing white, one area that looks like a fish gnawed on it or something( a few chips) but for the most part they are in good shape. Then there is a lovely bangle type pin with a whole bunch of bangle type hanging pendulum decorations, it is complete and in very good condition.
