Antique White opalescent Salt & pepper shakers hand blown Northwood Co. 5"
Up for auction isa pair of antique white opalescent salt& pepper shakers. They have been hand blown by the Northwood Co in the early 1900's. The pattern is called striped. It is part of a condiment set. The tops are orginal and they stand 5" tall. The sides are square and the bottom is round to fit in the set. These are very rare. I have had antique dealers looking for peices to match it. If you want something different for your collection this might be what you are looking for. There is a chip on the bottom of one of them and it is pictured.

Antique Set of 3 Procelain Salt Pepper Shakers 1940's
Antique Porcelain Salt Pepper Shakers Set of 3(Use the 3rd for Garlic or Spice) Could Be Bavarian. French, or Japanese These were an original set of 4(two ends of the table) and one was broken in the 70's California earthquake. They went with my grandparents' Haviland China. A wedding present to my folks. They married in 1948 and these may have been purchased in Germany after the war or in Japan after the Korean War. Use the two for salt and pepper and the third can be garlic, cinnamon, whatever you like to use. The original corks disintegrated, so you'll need to buy new or get plastics plugs. They are in excellent condition and ready to be shipped. Free shipping is my gift to you.

Research done on them has indicated they are likely to be late 1800's in age. And unknown silver colored material, possibly silver plated. ~Very Sweet Antique 1920s Cottage-Shaped Salt& Pepper Shakers~ My mother-in-law remembers these from when she was a child(born in 1919) Her mother had them in the kitchen cabinet but they were never big enough to be practical for use in her large family(14 children! My mother-in-law had them in her kitchen cabinet for years. And I took them when she moved to Florida. They've been on display in my kitchen cabinet since then! They measure approx 2-3/4" at their tallest x 2" x 1-3/4" They are just adorable! They remind me of the little cottages on the covers of the old Better Homes& Gardens magazines from the 1920s-1930s. This is a beautiful hand painted salt& pepper set with lovely pink flowers. Green leaves, blue accents, gold beading/accents. Just lovely! They are approx. 3” tall. They are in good antique condition with a small chip at the base of one(see photo) some wear on the painting typical of a 100 year old piece! There is no maker's mark. Antique Porcelain Salt and Pepper Shakers Gold Gilt Bavaria (Pre-1871)
This auction is for a set of beautiful gilt bone china salt and pepper shakers that are in very good condition. Each shaker is marked"Bavaria" on the bottom. A mark that was used before 1871. After 1871, pieces were marked"Bavaria, Germany" Each round top. Square-based shaker is 3-5/8" tall, and measures almost 1-1/2 inches across at their base. These belonged to my 91 year old mother. Who has gone to live in a nursing home. They were previously owned by her grandmother. We are slowly downsizing her things that cannot be used in our home. These have only been in a nonsmoking home. Items will be carefully wrapped and packaged for shipping. I only accept Paypal for payment. Payment is due within 2 days/48 hours of winning the item.

OK. Here is a set of antique, porcelain, SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS, in the shape of red brick chimneys. They measure 2 1/2 inches high. By 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches long. Each shaker has 5 holes in the top. We inherited these from mother a few years ago and know that there are salt and pepper shaker collections that these might be added to. We are not aware of when mother first got them, but suspect it was late 1930's to somewhere in the early 1950's. We expect that they were used due to everything that was owned in those years was used. The cork stoppers are missing, except in one there is a soft rattle that indicates part of the original cork stopper is inside the shaker. Hello and welcome to my auctions. Up for auction is a sweet set of fully marked salt& pepper shakers/pots. Forget me nots were a popular theme back in the day! Beautiful blue forget me nots are meticulously hand painted by a very skilled artisan on these old shakers. T heir red& yellow stamens& soft olive green leaves surround them. Fancy l ush gilt is hand painted on top of both. The bottom parts(half) have hues of beautiful soft blues. the top half have creamy pastel yellows. G reen leaves& stems connect the forget me nots done on both the front& back of each shaker. Both have 13 pour holes. Photo 7. Stamped on the very bottom porcelain of each one in green is" Z.S. Co. BAVARIA" Last 3 photos. I have washed both of them& placed new cork stoppers in them. They are a sweet pair of irreplaceable treasures ... morefrom days of horse& buggy! This sweet set has no chips. Flakes, cracks or damage anywhere. There is very little paint wear on either one. Th ey measure approximately over 2 3/4 inches high& approximately 1 1/8 inches across the bottom where they touch the surface of a table. Or a cabinet. Photo 8.
