Maine[then Massachusetts] and addressed to an unknown public official seeking appointment to the vacant job of Registrar of Deeds for the Town. Undated, but circa 1785-1790. In this letter, Frost asserts"I have been thro the whole of the War from the beginning to the End with very great Expense besides the loss of better than Eight Years of the prime and best of my Days with the service of my Country" He explains how he is qualified and suited for the job, which was previously held by his brother Timothy Frost. A rare original printed and manuscript completed court order signed by WILLIAM FROST. As Justice of the Peace of the Town of York, Massachusetts[ now part of Maine] dated May 13, 1794. This document orders the Sheriff to collect money owed to Anna Clarke of York as a result of a judgement against James Bradbury of Biddeford.
