History on the book and movie(please see all images) Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell was published by The Macmillan Company of New York. This is a 1936 6th Printing first edition book. There is no dust cover. The book pages all yellowed with time. There is pencil writing on one page giving a date at the top and name. There is spotting(foxing) on many of the pages. Some of the pages are corner bent. The covers show shelf wear, tattering and chipping along the corners. The spine is worn along the edges and there is a wear line going down the middle top to ... morebottom. The first few pages up to the title page are coming loose from the binding but are still intact. The book is sturdy and tight, This is a classic book in rather nice condition; it lacks the dust cover and a signature by Ms Mitchell would be a wonderful gift but alas it's not present. +All Measurements are taking while garment is lying flat+ + Jewelry.
